We were referred to Doctor Ayres and he suggested IUI.The staff during our journey was very friendly and understanding.After 3 rounds of IUI, we were able to conceive our second child. Samantha West: I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Gago and her AMAZING team! My husband and I started our fertility journey in 2014 and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl in November, 2018. It was not always an easy journey, but Dr. Gago and her team were with us every step of the way. Taking phone calls, answering questions, making us comfortable, explaining the process, going over instructions and so on and so on. We truly felt they were invested in a positive outcome just as much as us. As hard as every failed treatment was Dr. Gago always stayed positive and we would tweak or try a new protocol until we were successful. For anyone struggling with fertility or thinking of starting down this path I strongly recommend you give Dr. Gago a call for a consultation. She’s the best! And again, her team, who you will become very familiar with as you’ll see them several times a week at times, is fantastic, supportive, friendly, very educated and helpful!

Jami Baran: I have never had a doctors office be more disrespectful of my time. The first appointment, my husband was with me and we spent a total of 3 hours there. And it would be generous to say that we were with a doctor or nurse for 45 minutes of that time. The second time, I went alone. I was 15 minutes early and I waited in the lobby 30 minutes after my appointment start time before I was called back. The nurse had me in the room and did one test which required me to be undressed and in a robe. When she left she told me the doctor would be in shortly. I waited another 45 minutes sitting naked on a table before the doctor came in. There were zero apologies for the wait and no one checked on me. When Dr. Gago was with me, she talked over my head about everything and spent about 10 minutes with me. I had to google the information she talked to me about. When you are going through fertility issues, it is scary. If you are looking for a doctor who is helpful and explains things I would not recommend this clinic. If you are okay with doing your own research and aren’t concerned with people wasting your time, this is the place for you!

Alana Porter: Care about funds more than patients. Unorganized, unprofessional and can’t give you specific answers on pretty much anything. My wife and I started the process in January since January my wife has been seen once. They kept rescheduling my appointments, mind you we were placed on medication. We’ve been taking meds for two months now and shouldn’t have been taking anything at all. They rescheduled my wife’s appointment for the 3rd time today. A receptionist told my wife to come in at 9:30 but told office staff her appointment was at 9. That’s not what reminders say, calendars say different as well. They told her come back in a month (3rd time since January). The communication between receptionist and the doctors are horrible, thank god we found another place that won’t cause much of a headache, wouldn’t recommend. We need more doctors/organizations that take ivf much more serious. We want kids just as much as everyone else does. This has been a big inconvenience for us, waste of money and time.

B B: The nursing staff at the East Lansing clinic were nice and responsive.It was the IUI process that I found unsettling. They have a very high turnover in the andrology staff. So it was very likely that you had someone with little to no experience performing a procedure. I was used as a training tool for a staff member. It became apparent that the staff member did not have experience. To the point where she caused actual physical pain. I have had a couple of IUI's, so I was fairly familiar with the process.I raised these concerns with my nursing staff, twice. I was given a perfunctory apology, but the concerns were not addressed nor taken seriously.If you need an IUI procedure, my suggestion is to go where the staff is more experienced. It will save you time and money.

Barbie Heerema: The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and emotionally supportive. We wouldn't have our baby girl without them. They walked us through every step and answered all our questions with great detail and patience. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a fertility clinic.

The Movie Room Aquarium Guy: My wife and I recently were patients here. I feel after having gone here, they seem to care more about getting every penny for treatment upfront then helping their patients. The first visit we had with the doctor we were told that IVF would be our only hope for getting pregnant most likely, but the doctor couldn't tell us what was the reasoning behind her diagnosis. The doctor didn't know why there seem to be an issue becoming pregnant, but IVF was her only real treatment suggestion. I told her that we need to look at other options first before committing to a 20,000$ procedure, she seemed reluctant it would work. I have good news after all this though, we are now pregnant and without the help of IVF. I guess all I can say is before you commit to the most expensive procedure they offer, it might not be a bad idea to look at the other options first.
