But yet you said he was incoherent and said u had to take him in which wasn't even the plan. U took him against his will!!!

MI Lansing: My wife, our 18 months son , and I took a walk tonight on the river walk in downtown. While my wife was taking a picture of our son , she dropped her phone . She got so upset and started crying because she has her family pictures ( which they live in Germany) , and our only son’s videos since birth . The phone landed on the pillar underneath the bridge . There is literally no access to that pillar. I didn’t know whom to call . I told her there is a very slim chance that we might get it. We walked across the street to the Fire Department off Grand Ave and Shiawassee. A gentleman asked us if we need help , and went to talk to his crew . They were very kind , respectful and professional, they told us they will be there with tools within few minutes . Two ladies and a gentleman got there and tried so hard to get the phone without dropping it in the river since it was sitting right on the edge of the pillar. Despite the insanitary of the place , they went above and beyond laying down , leaning and squeezing their body against the bridge foundation in a very tight spaces . They worked like an amazing team and managed to get the phone . My wife started crying again out of happiness this time . Just want to say how grateful and thankful my family and I tonight and everyday for everything you guys do to the community. You guys made our night and I am pretty sure everyday you make someone else’s day too .

Jesse Gerould: What a wonderful bunch! Ran into them in a parking lot and they approached our kiddos and gave them a tour of the truck, gave them kids helmets and a Frisbee! It was awesome. Our kids loved it and will never forget the experience they had!

Ryan Alderman: These are wonderful people. My girlfriend was in distress recently (won't go into detail), but these gentleman did not waste a moment to assist her. They did not have to bother with her problem (not part of typical protocol), but that they in fact did help her, had a large impact for our betterment. We, as a society,do not give our fire rescue personnel nearly enough credit and appreciation. We can't do without them.Thank you Station 9.
