Keith Gallagher: Saving some money I bought a used roll up door and installed it myself. When it came time to get an opener to work for it I was having no luck. Called these guys and they were great. Drove 20 miles and arrived 5 mins before they closed, they had everything I needed, helped me with all my questions and gave me plenty of advice to make it all work. Can't speak highly enough about their customer service, absolutely outstanding.

Robert Byrnes: Terrible customer service all the way around except for the installer. Wood grain door did not look wood grain. Rather than wood grain stamped panels with wood coloring they use a dimple imprint. Then they ordered the wrong trim twice and put up multiple pieces. Salesman lied by saying they only come in 10 ft sections for an 18 foot door. Called their competitor to find out yes they make 18 foot pieces. Then when they finally finish I get the nasty note.

Rickie Street: This could be a great place they really do need to get whoever Tieler is off the phone. Maybe he was high today smoke too much or something but really should not be answering their phones. As far as service and work I never had a client complain when I referred them.

Robert Gilbert: I loath the fact that I even have to do this…but I engaged Precision Garage Door to fix a broken spring. The appointment process is great, the punctuality to appointment was spot on, the technician couldn’t have been nicer; the problem is in the way they go about assessing your need. Upon arrival, Tim and I had a conversation about the problem and he set expectations that other things may nee to be done. I attempted to redirect his expectations by indicating that we are “fixing springs today”, but go ahead and write everything up for further discussion. When he completed the assessment, he showed that the lift cables were near end of life, the roller bearings were done and there was a crack in the top rail of top door panel (requiring a complete new door). I reiterated the mission of spring replacement. I further indicated that PGD was my first call and so far I am willing to have them do all the work at some point. Tim told me that if I don’t do everything today that he WON’T do any of it. This is the use of scare tactics and coercion to achieve their goals to maximize “per call rate”. In addition, I learned that the techs work on commission further motivating them to push the invoice total.I am not going to say whether you should engage their business, you need to determine that for yourself. For me, this is not how I do business.

Jim Lott: Our door was installed at least a year ago. No problems till the night we were installing Christmas lights. Suddenly the door wouldn't go up. I called the next day and the young man that came determined quickly the original installer hadn't put clips on all the electrical connections. He put them on and it worked. Because it was the original installer's mistake he didn't charge us anything. Good service, fast help so I am happy.

Jen Brown: On the morning after an iceStorm we were unable to open our garage door it wouldn’t budge at all even after pulling the emergency release cord. I called them they had an appointment within an hour. They called before that window opened to say they were in their way sent me a text with a picture of the tech which I liked. He arrived knew what was wrong immediately but did a full inspection to make sure there were no other problems and gave us three options for repairs, fortunately our door was good our spring had just snapped so we didn’t need to replace the whole thing , he completed the repairs and showed us what he did and how to maintain and door is working better than before. We are pleased with the response time, friendliness, and professionalism, and the work completed. Would definitely call again.
