Harvey Hoffman: I have had a warning sign come up on my dash telling me to service by side radar view device. The blind spot lights in my side view mirrors have not worked for a couple months. I brought the car in for service and your parts department did not have the parts. I am still waiting.Not very impressive.

Theresa Thompson: I had the best salesman so he sold me a great car. Thank you.I had the worst finance experience here. Last day of the month, wanted the sale, not concerned with our wishes. Ended up with an overpriced loan after our own financing work was ignored. We were constantly delayed on picking up the vehicle even after they took our trade. After a lengthy wait due to a repair (they said) We took our new over priced car home. Unfortunately our car is in the shop now so they can actually fix the problem that caused that delay. To be fair to the dealership: they did ask if we were satisfied? So over this whole fiasco we just said yes and left. I will buy my next car from someone not associated with a dealership.

A Pat: I had my car in last year, yes I needed new tires but they told me I needed new brakes, so I took it into two different places and both said you don’t need brakes. It’s sad when women get taken advantage of. Next time I’ll bring my brother in law. After he talks to you you’ll wish you were honest with me.

Sandra Brown: My vehicle was in for repair to the front end due to someone backing into it leaving a trailer hitch imprint. The repair was approved by insurance, all parts approved were new parts, except one that was recycled. I spoke to the personnel in body shop, twice, and advise I would pay the difference for a new part, I didn't want a recycled part on my vehicle. When I got my vehicle back, 4/20 @ 3:00pm, my father picked up my vehicle, I reviewed my paperwork and discovered that a recycled part had been used. I was not asked if it was okay, I was not told they would be using a recycled part. Nothing was said to me about using a recycled part. I called the dealership, a short time later to speak with someone in body shop, I was advised someone would call me back within an hour, I called around 3:15pm, and I'm still waiting on a phone call, it's now 04/21 @ 9am.

Dione Peña: HOPEFULLY YOU DON"T NEED SERVICE! The purchase experience was great; however, I have had a continuous problem with my vehicle's alignment (and warn tires), since I purchased it in June 2021. The dealer has made excuse after excuse and recently provided the following explanation regarding the issues I have been having - The Service Manager (Brandon) told me that the vehicle came off the assembly line with a rear alignment issue, the dealership had a Technician that did not do his job and has since been fired, and finally, the wear on the front tires is normal so the only solution is to rotate the tires so they wear (excessively) evenly. Over the course of 1.5 years, I have had the original Pirelli tires, a set of rear tires replaced with Pirelli, all four tires replaced with Continental tires, and a set of rear tires replaced with Continental. They refuse to acknowledge that the front tires have excessive wear with ~15,000 miles on them (now rotated to the rear). This is the third XC60 I have owned and never had an issue with the other two and excessive tire wear. Again, Brandon provided the explanation that this vehicle is designed differently than the other two XC60's I owned so the wear is normal. I don’t believe that answer, nor do I trust what this dealer is telling me. There is so much more regarding lack of communication, telling me things that simply weren't true, dropping the ball, etc. It has been a terrible experience. The unacceptable service I received from Crippen Volvo has caused them to lose a customer.

Spag Money: It makes me worried for the future if I choose to leave the greater lansing area that I won’t have Crippen. I am a big fan of their customer service and quality of service. Crippen is the best in the area and I will continue to come here for any car related services until my career takes me elsewhere outside of the lansing area. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and does a great job with their customer service and quality of service. There’s never surprises, they are always upfront with what they suggest and will do before they do anything to the vehicle which is always super appreciated. Along with that, though they are probably trained to be persuasive, the do a great job explaining their rationale in laymen’s terms. I appreciate all that the Crippen team does for their clients and like stated before, I will always be coming here as long as I live around the area!
