nuca nina: From what I observed, some kids team up and use all the shapes on the floor for their needs, and if your child is playing by herself, there is nothing left. And there is no adult involved to control it. So you just have to stand there watch your child suffer.

RAO: This is an extremely awesome cheer and tumble destination!The bathrooms are clean and the gym overall is very tidy.There are two floors in the building - lower: gym, bathroom, and coach's office. The upper part has a smaller area than the bottom. It's where parents can chill while the kids are in open gym, tumbling class, cheer class, etc.There are two main coaches: a tumbling guy and cheer girl coach. Both are very experienced and safe, so you won't have to worry too much about injuries.There are also junior coaches, whom act like assistant coaches. Most of them are also in one of the cheer teams. Speaking of, How does that work?The coaches have a thing where they check your level. During the start of the cheer season, they will place you in a cheer team (if you want to) at your level.Tumbling class is way more understandable, you just enroll online. It goes for the whole year.Open gyms are usually busy. Most times, you'll have to wait in line to use a mat or the tumble trak. The 11+ year old open gym is pretty full all the time.The location is a little funky. It's behind Sherwin Williams, but there are signs directing you to the location.Parking a easyyyy bro. There are many spaces even when it's real busy, so don't worry a thing about it!And that's the end of a review of one of the best cheer and tumble destinations!

Nicky B: I took my daughter here when she was three. There was another little girl in the group that kept punching my daughter. Kids are kids and gentle correction usually works. Rather than do anything stop the situation the little girl was rewarded by being allowed to cut in line and grab things from the other girls. Not the instructors nor the girls father did anything to stop it. The bullying here isn't just ignored, it is rewarded.

Stacey Camp: We had recently moved to the state and decided to continue my daughter's gymnastics training at Twistars. I sat and watched for three weeks, and pulled her out after witnessing very poor coaching and my daughter being bullied by several girls in her class. The final class involved my daughter bursting into tears (which she has never done in any gymnastics class before) because she had been bullied and physically pushed by two of the girls. The teachers did nothing. I interrupted the class, told the teachers what was going on, and took my daughter out of the class. I emailed the gym, and they had her try an older girls class she clearly was not ready for. They couldn't promise that my daughter wouldn't be bullied again if she stayed in her level, so we left. My daughter has danced and done gymnastics since she was 2 and is tough, but none of the studios she has attended would have ever let this situation happen. We are heartbroken she will no longer be doing a sport she loved (and her old gymnastics studio was absolutely incredible), but we will not tolerate abuse and bullying. The girls were also running wild around the gym and goofing around on equipment (which resulted in at least two injuries I witnessed in the very short time we were there).

Chanda Hall: My son has been taking NinjaZone classes here for a little over a year. He LOVES it! He has tried baseball, basketball, soccer, football and karate. He loved karate at first, but that faded before the first session ended. With Ninjazone, he still loves it as much today, as he did when we started over a year ago. He also opted to have his birthday party there this year. Not only was Kiki amazing with the ninjazone course, but she was also a great party hostess! We are also extremely happy about the new expansion :)

Shannon Davis: At age 3 I started my daughter at Twistars just so she could burn off some of that extra energy all kids seems to have. Not only did she learn forward rolls, but she learned about taking turns, making friends, and how with determination and practice any goal can be met. These are all great life lessons at any age! I am very impressed with Twistars. The only reason for the 4 star review (instead of 5) is because some of Clark Corner's teachers are better than others. (at least for beginners) They have a few that are fantastic and others that are just average.

Ellen Gratch: Great place for activity for the kids. A lot of learning with moving and fun. They were also expected to pay attention to their teacher (Ms Kiki at Clark Corners) and that's a very important part of the class.Our son had his 4th bday party there and he and all the kids had a blast.

Amy Heriford: We love both locations, but we especially love Clark Corners for our 2 year old son. It is very kid-friendly. All of the coaches he has had are wonderful, too!

Karen Porco: We recently switched to Twistars from a local YMCA when my daughter expressed a desire to compete in gymnastics. After a short evaluation with Kiki, who did a great job making a nervous 7 yr old more comfortable, we signed her up. Within a few weeks of instruction, I have seen big improvements in her skills. It's been very good for her to have more than one set of equipment to work on. It means she gets to spend the entire time at each apparatus practicing instead of waiting in line to practice. The coaches are all great with the kids (I sit and watch 4 hrs a week and have had a chance to see many of the coaches in action with many different age groups) and know what they're doing. Kiki continues to be wonderful and easy to work with. We've been nothing but pleased with our experience and my daughter always looks forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays!
