Vikram Ambekar: I get my haircuts at ALHI. The entire staff at ALHI is very professional and they do an excellent job of running the business. The salon standards for cleanliness hygiene are very high and the air/ambience is fresh when you are getting a haircut. The salon is well stocked with different brands of hair products. Jessica is the first person in over 45 years that I trust to meet my high expectations. Her skills are phenomenal. She's very compassionate toward her clients, and truly cares about helping those who may be going through difficult personal times to feel good about themselves. She will help you choose a style, cut or color that will enhance your attributes, keeping in mind your physical capabilities, and then show you how to care for it, whether your own hair or a wig. She personally consults with every client before making appropriate recommendations. Bonus: Her products are certified organic, sulfate-free, gluten-free, paraben-free and vegan. And no, she's not a family member or childhood friend. I was fortunate to meet her a couple years ago when it became difficult for me to do my own hair any more. You couldn't choose a more compassionate, caring, competent person to help with your hair care or wig needs.

Debbie Aldrich: Carol is a wonderful caring soul. She fully explains how and what the wigs are made of, plus how to care for them. The salon has a wide assortment of styles and colors to choose from. I highly recommend Elegante Studio.

It was a wonderful and fun experience! But, I didn't make a purchase right away for a number of silly reasons. Last month (April) I worked up my courage and went back and purchased a beautiful "topper". I just love it! I get compliments every time I wear it. I know I'll be going back in the future to expand my style options with new pieces. Carol is kind, empathetic and really knows her stuff!

Kristen J. Mills, PhD: I had an appointment with Jasmine Foy at 9:30 am on Tuesday 12/18/19. My appointment ended at 7:30 pm. The style I received was not as requested (too large and too long) and there were some errors in my styling (one layer of braids was even more oversized) that Jasmine said she was willing to fix at a later time. I communicated my concerns with Jasmine through my appointment. She tried to execute the style I requested but could not.In short, I requested a refund to which she refused and later stopped responding. She was active on social media during this time, even posting photos of my hair. I am at minimum disappointed, out of $150 + hair + a full day including the 3hrs to take it down, and needing to book another appointment elsewhere which is an additional cost.Overall, the salon was nice & Jasmine was personable. I would not recommend her for any style that is not pictured on her instagram account.Pictures attached of the style i requested (including me with the style), the final style by jasmine, and my payment receipt.I called the salon prior to posting and got voicemail

Jes K: Decent experience, asked for a full set acrylics but the nail tech wasn't aware because my appointment had been put in as a 2 week fill. So there was some confusion there.My only real complaint is that the gel polish used started flaking off after only a day. The nails (gel glue press on not acrylics) are thicker than acrylic, so it's a little more challenging to do basic tasks, but nothing too upsetting about them. Just the polish that wasn't sealed to the end of the nail so it came off too quick.

I called to notify I was cancelling my future appointments after my last service went extremely poorly here- Maddy on the phone barely acknowledged my concerns when I expressed to her I was cancelling as my roots on my (DARK BRUNETTE) hair had turned red within 2 weeks of having my roots last touched up and that i would be discontinuing services here. She didn't ask if i wanted to speak to my stylist or apologize about being unhappy. Disappointed in my hair and in the lack of professionalism and customer service. I use strictly olaplex products and have been a loyal customer to Personal Image since 2019 coming in every 6 weeks (with the pandemic closure time frame excused- i didn't touch my hair during this time with color or anything) . I never had issues with my hair here prior to my last stylist leaving this salon, will definitely be seeking her out at her new location. In shock that the customer service did not even acknowledge my concerns during my call or offer a consult check in appt. perhaps if they would've done this I would have been open to returning and having this salon fix my hair. Hoping that management works to train their customer service staff on how to properly respond to these situations.Service:Hair coloring
T Crawford Martin: I got a spa package with a 60 minute facial, 60 minute massage, and a mani pedi with shellac on my fingers.The facial by Nellie and the massage by Courtney were WONDERFUL. I plan to go back again, and get my friend a gift certificate for these services for her birthday!I was very disappointed with my manicure though. The woman doing my nails seemed a little frazzled and kept forgetting to turn on the light for the shellac machine- to the point where I started turning it on. Then all ten of my nails chipped within the first 5-6 days (and I was staying at home during this time- no strenuous activities that would've caused the shellac to chip). Seeing as I paid $90 with tip for the mani pedi, I'm a little bummed out about how short lasting the manicure was.I'll definitely continue to get spa services at this business, but would definitely recommend an equally priced mani pedi from a place in town called Kiss Nails.

Amber Williams: I very clearly tell the employee my son needs “a line up in the front and the sides & back in a taper fade”….a VERY common style!!! I even show him an image of how much he wants it tapered. Argues with me that he shouldn’t get a lineup because it doesn’t look good when it begins to grow back. First time I’ve ever heard that ridiculousness from a “barber”. I repeat what we need done he says no problem. Then SLAUGHTERS the sides of my sons hair leaving a strange shaped triangle on the side of his face with patches below it. The back curves in on one side & out on the other with a large PATCH missing/cut too short one one side. He goes to move on and I remind him we asked for a taper fade…..at which point he tells me he doesn’t know what that is! Asks me if I want it “tighter”. I repeat that we asked for a taper fade and ask if he knows what I’m talking about and he says no. Why didn’t he say that when we first sat down???? It’s much better to say you don’t know how to do something than have my son looking RIDICULOUS!!!! No one cared. No one offered to fix the tragic looking sides & back. No one even offered an apology!!!!Service:Haircut
destinee keller: I was so excited to have my hair done here I made an appointment for the very next day, come to find out the front desk receptionist did not make my appointment for the right day and when I asked to see someone else she basically told me I’m out of luck. I took time off work and made arrangements to make sure I could make it. I will not return here.
