Jeffrey Russell: I was seen in the Charlotte clinic recently. I knew I had a hearing issue for the last 7-10 years and my family let me know it! Michael was great in fitting/programming my hearing aids. They were customized to my “hearing prescription” per Michael. They took great care of me and made sure I was very satisfied with my hearing aid selection. Makalah, at the front desk, was awesome too and made sure I had all my questions answered and a follow up appointment scheduled before I left. I’m a highly satisfied customer and really appreciate them!

Charlyn Cosgrove: My 90-year-old father-in-law went to Miracle Ear on West Saginaw in Lansing Michigan to have his hearing tested. He needed hearing aides and subsequently was sold a pair for $5,314.97. He had great trouble using them and they would not stay in place. He returned to the store several times for assistance. He was fitted with another pair, and again was having trouble wearing and operating them. He finally decided to return them for a refund. At that point he was told that the 30 day refund period had expired and was refused the refund. My father-in-law had repeatedly returned for service throughout the refund period and was told that the issues would be fixed. They were not. I went with him to return his hearing aides and spoke with the manager. During that conversation the manager stated that the real problem was that my father-in-law just did not want to hear better. He said this in front of my father-in-law, my wife and me.I asked to speak with the owner whose name is Ben. The manager told me he would let the owner know and took my contact information. I was not contacted. Three weeks passed and I was still not contacted. I called the manager, and he told me that he would again contact Ben and have him get in touch with me. That was two weeks ago. As of today – no communication from Ben.This is a deplorable situation. This is a 90-year-old man on a fixed income. They took his money and he has gained nothing useful from it. He was made promises that his hearing aides would work for him. He was unable to use them. He returned several times during the refund period stating that he was unable to operate them. When he finally realized that the problem was not going to get fixed and asked for his money back they told him it was too late. Appeals to the owner have fallen on deaf ears.I highly recommend that people do not use the Miracle Ear store on West Saginaw in Lansing. Our experience tells us that it is clear that their primary concern is not the satisfaction of their customers, but the money they take from them.

I was blown away by the kindness and caring attitude of Miracle Ear. The receptionist was also very kind. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs help with hearing issues. They truly care.
Joey Zago: after learning that my 87 year old father who is struggling with many medical issues including severe memory loss and confusion went and bought hearing aid that cost close to $8,000 when he already had one that he bought a couple years ago that works just fine, initially I was extremely upset and thought that the salesperson was trying to rip my father off.After speaking with Michael over the phone I was very impressed with his level of professionalism and his willingness to let my dad out of his purchase order. My dad forgets almost everything shortly after something is said and was very confused at his age when making the purchase. My mother is also struggling with several issues when it comes to memory and clarity and that is why I was instantly worried that somebody had been trying to take advantage of my parents. Over the last five years my parents have been ripped off because of their inability to comprehend things the way they used to and think on their feetI was instantly worried that something like that was happening again however to my good surprise, Michael was extremely professional he was very understanding of the situation and agreed to cancel the order that my dad made for additional hearing aids and also agreed to refund my dad's $500 deposit that he put on his credit card.My parents are both extremely active in their Church organization and they hang around a large group of seniors so I'm sure that the professionalism and professional courtesy that Michael demonstrated at the Miracle-Ear of Lansing store, my parents will most likely recommend Michael to several of their friends who do not yet have hearing aids that might be in the need of them

I lost one if two of the hearing aids I wear. Made appointment for replacement on June 14th. Paid the replacement fee and informed it would be 7 to 10 days. Calked after about 10 days.....no hearing aid. Lisa would be in on Wednesday and they would let me know what is going on with them and have her contact me. No phone call or any contact. Okay waited till July 2nd no hearing aid. Called Fluke Hearing answering service said their closed to July 9th. No call saying that my hearing was in or that they would be closed till the 9th. Very Disappointed. There office staff seems great...so is it Fluke themselves or are the staff good at putting up a good persona.

Patience Miller: These folks sent a solicitation letter to my mom who has been dead for nearly 4 years. When I called to have her name removed I had to go through all sorts of menus and then the recording was rather rude. Saying I had to read the address exactly off the envelope to be taken off their list. Really? No compassion for the loved ones left behind. Unable to talk to a real person. Stop it with the mass mailing. It is unkind to people who have lost loved ones. Edited to add: after I reached the proper menu choice I didn't have the envelope with me so I hung up and thus you could not find anything. Most most people throw envelopes away.

Recently she tried the Cross tech hearing aids and it has made a huge difference in her life, and mine. Though she is deaf in one ear, these hearing aids allow her to hear as if she can hear with both ears. As her daughter, it is much easier for me to communicate now.

David Evans: I first went to America's Best Hearing in January of 2020 after learning from my ENT's office that my hearing loss had reached the point that hearing aids would be helpful. Daren gave the hearing test again, confirmed the previous hearing tests, and said that hearing aids would help. Because of my travel schedule, we did not order the aids until May of 2020, and they came in a short time later. Daren fitted the aids, and set them to provide the proper level of assistance for me. Both Daren and Collette are friendly and professional, easy to work with and thoroughly knowledgeable. I have been back a few times in the first year for adjustments and slight repair, and they have answered all of my questions patiently and comfortably. I highly recommend them if your hearing needs a boost!

I can call with questions or go into the office if I need adjustments. It is a learning process, how to use hearing aides. Get the fit right, the different hearing levels to how I like it, how to turn them on and off. I feel comfortable asking the same questions as I learn more, or remember more, with time. They offer ear wax cleaning, using a tool that sprays gentle warm water into ear canal to release ear wax. Dr. MaryRose and staff work to assist you, as you incorporate wearing hearing aides in your life.

William Vallance: TL;DR. After 37 years of hearing aids and audiologist I highly recommend MaryRose to anyone.A little about myself. I am 42 and have been hard of hearing all my life. Both inner ears are missing the stapes bone. Resulting in near 50% hearing loss. As a result I need good hearing aids to hear properly.As a child my parents took me to MSU audiology. As a young man I went to other places which were all nice. It was roughly a little over 10 years ago that I needed the assistance of MRS "Michigan Rehabilitation Services“ which suggested MaryRose as a second quote.MaryRose took extra attention and questions that I never experienced before with an audiologist. We went over the different options and what my needs were. She even pointed out new features that might help my day to day.Going from Analog to digital hearing aids was a big step and a big learning curve. We first started out with tiny hearing aids that have speakers in the ear. At first with the rubber easy in and out rubber flaps like earbuds have. We found out that didn't retain enough sound for me. So we did ear molds which were a dramatic improvement for me.The big problem for me is that I sweat a lot in the summer. Even standing still. So my next set of hearing aids Phonak just came out with water resistant hearing aids. This time we went with mic and speakers in one unit and tubes to ear molds. These proved to be better than the last ones and lasted a little over 5 years. The biggest downside is that I needed to send a hearing aid in each year to be repaired.At some point MaryRose started looking into other companies due to the quality of Phonaks no longer impressed her. After a few years of working with Starkey she recommended them for my next set.Which they exceed the volume and feature set of the previous ones. Having a phone directly connect by Bluetooth is amazing. To talk on the phone, watching video, or listening to music through both hearing aids with such great quality is something I would have never fathom possible even just a couple decades ago. This seriously improved my quality of life.All this to say if you stick with MaryRose you won't regret it. She pays attention to the details and always seeks to improve our quality of life thru hearing.

Joe: I took my 87 year old mother to have her hearing tested by MaryRose Hecksel. My dad noticed that she was not able to hear when she would guess at the question he had asked and give him an answer that did not make any sense.My mom has some mobility issues and Dr. Hecksel seamlessly worked around my mother's issues. It was "no big deal".Dr. Hecksel was infinitely patient with my mom. My mom is eager-to-please and I strongly suspect Dr. Hecksel re-ran some parts of the test where the results indicated mom was guessing.Then after analyzing the test results Dr. Hecksel updated my mom's hearing aids on-the-spot. Dr. Hecksel took the time to verify that the fix worked by talking to my mom with a progressively softer voice. Nothing super obvious, just checking her work.Then, because she had increased the prescription, Dr. Hecksel double-checked the feed-back squelch and tweaked that a bit. Then verified the whole package.At no time was Dr. Hecksel rushed. She was super-calm and very professional without being the least bit cold.My mom felt very at home the entire time.We definitely will go back again.

We got there and we're greeted by the Dr. and she took her hearing aids in the back and 15 minutes later we were out of there. She was happy to have her hearing aids again, she could hear again.

It is actually irony that I went to an audiology professional who knows how to "listen". Michael Meyers: Poor experience at this health center. Over the phone they said they would adjust hearing aids to my grandfather's ears. We drove an hour to get there, and then they refuse to adjust the hearing aids. They didn't look at the report they told us to bring until the end, so we left no better off than we came. We drove 2 hours, and they charged us $75 without doing what we asked them to do. Very disappointed.

Last time I went in to get my tubes changed and they broke one of my ear molds and just gave it back to me and said I needed to make an appointment to replace it. So I did, when I got there they told me they didn't brake it and they didnt have to give me a discount or anything. Will not be coming back ever. Customer for over 22 years. I want to give zero stars!
