The Falcon Golf Course: what do users think?
C J: The price us a little out of touch for the quality of course. If the golf karts were included in the green fees or we're even half the price it would be a little more reasonable.Kart paths are rough and awful to go across If you want to go faster than 1 MPH. 3 stars because the gentleman working the pro shop was polite and personable and the fairways and greens are in decent shape. If you hit your ball off the fairway you will have a terrible time finding it. Rough is really deep.
Russell Hilton: A short gailes style 9 hole course that is in generally good condition and very very low priced to play. A very competitive golfer will not be challenged. However, it is a great place for an average golfer to get in some rounds and work on your basic game.
Brendan: I’ll start with I play The Falcon all the time & think it’s a fun playing experience for all levels of the game, however, the man who works in the pro shop is on of the strangest, rudest, men I’ve ever encountered. I’ve played here no less than 20 times, but each of the past two times a new pro shop man has been entirely rude & confusing. When I checked in for my prepaid round he told me I needed to prove payment for the round. After he confirmed my name was in the system & it showed paid, I got up the reservation on my phone to double prove I am the person here for the $15 round at a dead empty course. He told me that wasn’t good enough & I needed to prove payment… YOU HAVE TO PAY ONLINE IN ORDER TO BOOK! You literally cannot book without paying & he stood there and told me I needed to bring up my banking info!! At this point I was seriously wondering if this man was joking with me & I told him I just wanted to go play golf & I clearly had paid for the round already. He then got angry and told me I am the only person that has ever been upset about this before & that I better have it next time because “that’s the policy while he is working.” I have checked in at over a hundred different golf courses and have never been so confused!! I don’t know what the older gentleman with short white hairs problem is, but he is the only reason I will be playing less rounds at the Falcon. By far the strangest and rudest customer experience I have ever had while checking in for a golf round. And in case you see this, expect the same thing next time because I am not showing you my banking info for a $15 round.
Justin Meese: It's an easy walking course if you want to get a quick nine in. Course is in good shape and it isn't real long.
TheLowland: The falcon is a great experience tucked away in Bath, MI. Well kept course, beautiful luscious grass, and amazing scenery of nature and wildlife. The course is short, which makes it very enjoyable to walk, and when it’s only $11 for twilight, I can’t see how you could have any complaints about this course. Truly a hidden gem in central Michigan. Mike in the pro shop is a great laugh as well, just adds on to the whole experience.
Lenny G: Well maintained 9 holes!
David Delina: I have played Falcon several times this year. I had played it a few times when one day I was booking Royal Scot for 9 when the guy at Royal Scot was terribly rude to me. Since then I have played Falcon a whole lot more as their service here is always excellent. Terrain is rough but it is a lovely walk if you use a push cart or carry your bag. Using a golf cart is still a good option but do so knowing you will be driving slow for the larger part of the course. I would recommend this course to anyone. It is open enough to rescue bad shots but also has well placed water hazards and bunkers to ruin a good shot. 10/10 on the staff and friendliness.
glen Vick: Looks like a nice quiet place to live
Keith's Lamb: Greens and fairway grass in great shape for Aug. I would have given it 5 stars if the ride from tee box to greens were smoother for cart rides. Walking would have been ok.
A S: 9 holes. Pleasant scenery, houses by some holes. Saw a falcon, rabbits, ducks, and geese. If using a cart make sure you are comfortable with driving on rough terrain. It's fun if you are with a good driver.
Joe F: Very good executive golf course with a links-style layout. Not the longest course out there, but lots of opportunity to work on several different clubs at this nine-hole track with four par 4s and five par 3s with a par of 31. Blue, white and red tees are available.Conditions are typically very good at this property. The greens are well kept and the fairways and rough are lush. There are a few negatives. Many of the tee boxes are uneven and the bunkers are increasingly weedy. There can be a lot of beginners and kids on the course which can make for slow play. They also keep raising the price of play. There is a "foot golf" course here, where players kick soccer balls on an 18 hole course. The foot golf thing can be quite annoying because the players don't really follow the etiquette rules of golf.On the whole, a nice short course where you can walk nine holes in 90 minutes for a reasonable (but increasing) price.
Johan de Bruin: A gourgeous course, well maintained with a lot of lakes and nature. Probably the largest 9 holes course in the area, very affordable and great staff.
Tonia Kaczmarczyk: It was a beautiful day and the course was well groomed. Happy to see they are putting $$ back into the club house. Love this course, great for beginners, like me.
Sean Sorenson-Abbott: Tried to make a tee time and they told me I didn’t need one and to come on by. Drove 20 minutes there and was told they were closed due to construction. Bad service.
Dbrown B.: Fun course - friendly staff!
Glen Koeske: This is a terrific executive style course that is very challenging on the par 3's, especially from the back tees. If you're a newer player or a skilled player wanting to work on long and medium irons, this is the course.
Blanka boy desdro: Foot golf
Jared Goodrich: Nice executive course that's not expensive.
zo Harden: Good course
Nancy Lansing: No trees. All these years and NO shade. Course is starting to brown a bit. Walking an issue w goosebpoops everywhere. Pace was good.
Tim Hodge: Excellent short course!!! Easy walking, great layout!

Groesbeck Golf Course: what do users think?
Brian Johnson: Too many people hard to get tee time
Tyrone Fletcher: Greens airlifted not healed.
Lee Kenyon II: Really well maintained course. Great value for money. Even in mid-September the course was in near perfect condition. Played in on the mid-Mich golf pass, otherwise would have never tried it, but will definitely return
D Panetta: The only reason I'm leaving any stars is because of a couple employees! The gentleman who rides around in the green cart blowing the fairways smoking cigarettes is honestly the reason I will never come back! You pay $41 to go golf at this place. Honestly it's not worth it not worth one penny!
Steve Schouten: Pretty nice course. Has some nice natural views. Ponds etc. Reasonable pricing.
John Domutz: I played about 12 holes at Twilight and liked my time on it. It was in good condition and I enjoyed my experience.Better players may find this course a bit too easy, but I'm a senior and found a forward tee that made it fun for me.Fairways were watered and the greens were decent enough to roll a putt on. Bunkers were raked and had enough sand to get out properly. Good course for the money. Will visit again when I return back to this area.
Karen Doty-Gorman: Couse was on really nice shape! Very fun for the youth today!!
Cory Chvala: Love to play golf at Groesbeck! Very well maintained course!
Heather Schmidt: I am visiting East Lansing from Houston TX. My best friend and her husband decided to arrange a golf outing for us and her assistant. I was super excited as I had only been golfing once before for a charity event. We arrived right on time for our tee time,( please excuse me if I get some of the terminology wrong - newbie lol), grabbed a couple assorted beverages, some snacks( nothing fancy as y’all’s concession stand was closed - so we grabbed some candy and chips . Paid for our little 9 rounds and went on our way.Now as we made our way down to what we assumed were our carts ( no one working the counter where we paid mentioned anything to us at all), after a few minutes we decided these were ours. Spent a little while getting shoes and what not changed, drinks placed around, and clubs secured. It was right as were were beginning that one of our employees - yelled across the way to us loudly that we needed to get moving because we were late getting to our first round. We quickly moved ahead and proceeded to chat, laugh, have a good time and enjoy enjoy each other’s company. One of the women in our group was trying to explain to us what club to use and stuff like that. We decided that we were going to stop at about 4 turns each at max because we didn’t want to get caught up etc- and that we would let others play around if we needed. Well little did we know y’all were actually timing us !! As the young gentleman who so condescendingly told us we spent 23 mins on the hole - and the time should have been 15 mins. I am curious as to the time for the group ahead of us? Do you time everyone( how do you determine who to time )?This young man then proceeded to speak in such an offensive tone told us “ I don’t want to have to come back out here but I will if I have to…”( there was some other various gems he also shared )… he then drove off. Our group stared at each other for a few minutes just in shock at what had happened. I have never once felt so disrespected, uncomfortable , and awkward in my life. We all decided we would leave- and walk away from the money we had JUST paid. Y’all turned a gun and exciting afternoon into a miserable and awkward experience I will never forget. Please refresh me- who designed the course ? Was it Dye, Nicklaus …. Or wait- must have been Palmer???
Don Corso: Kind of pricey for patchy greens. The fairways were nice and the course is challenging but the greens weren't in the best shape. Plays very short. Only pulled my driver out because i needed to work on it. Could have easily scored well with my 3 wood (consistent 250 with it). Anyways there are Cheaper courses around that have just as nice fairways and greens.
Mark Ceasar: Played 9 with my son. Last ones out! Perfect evening, NO wind, quiet comfort evening bout 79.Greens were excellent n slick, pin positions were fair. Everything looked well watered n fairways in all mowed/groomed accordingly although generally ground was a bit hard(solid anyway with lack of rain). Still a great course to play and the blues didn’t have any particular challenge. Have House now close to course and been a while since played here.Shot 39 + a few gimme. Son pulled off a firm 43. Professional staff/atmosphere from the short time spent. Ill B Back…
Pete Zamora: My favorite course! Love it! Great, friendly staff!
Rebekah C: It's an okay course itself, kind of dry and hilly. The staff though... let me tell you... this guy working, maybe in his 40's, an absolute a**. We talked to another worker so we know he isn't the owner. While I (female, 25) was at the course with my husband, (25) and friends (21, 22, and 27 years old). The male working loudly noted how young we look, we know?? And then started playing 00's music super loud to get a reaction? But after that, he started taking PICTURES of us while we weren't looking. I caught him and he laughed. I didn't say anything because I'm an anixety-ridden young adult who isn't good at confrontation. It wasn't embarrassing for me, but this guy was in his mid 40-50's taking random pics of 20 year olds.. for what??? To make fun of us?? DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Nate Ellsworth: Course was very dry and poorly irrigated.
Jake Juszczyk: Nice course. Not super challenging which is nice for mediocre golfers like myself. Friendly staff. They keep it in good condition. Much more reasonably priced than others in the area.
Birdie Master: Need a ranger, badly. Slow play is painful. Greens are atrociously slow. Good price though - $30 18/cart
Adam Boynton: One of my favorite courses to play on. You can't beat the price and the course is well maintained.
Bryan Ruhf: Michifgan golf in December? I was happy to be out PERIOD! And I was joined by lots of other addicts, including Frosty. He let me play the on #2
Kurt Stuttman: The rough can be deep. Nice city golf course at reasonable rates. Reasonable maintenance of course
Sherry Bond: I've been playing here since 1974 and I still love it. It's a gorgeous course in really great shape. Our cart had a belt break and staff came out immediately after I called about it. Great service!! I highly recommend this course.
Brian Koch: This is the second time this year I have visited this course. I drive from Grand Rapids to play. The course is one of the best kept courses I have played and the cost is amazing! I will be going back forsure.

Woodside Golf Course: what do users think?
Gary Link: 12 hole course. In good shape.. variety of interesting holes.
Glenn Lukas: Beautiful layout - love the 12 hole concept!
Ben Pitchford: Nice 12 hole course
Rick Hoffman: Always great
Mary Mc: I have wanted to play here for years since it's the only 12 hole course in the state. Course was in very nice shape. We made a tee time a month in advance and drove from metro Detroit . Our foursome played 9 holes before the skies opened up and the course closed for the day at 2:15 p.m. When I inquired about a rain check, future discount or partial refund I was told too bad. We paid $160 to play 75% of the course. I figure they owe us $40. This group of courses advertises that it's among the elite in Lansing and in the state and they have this kind of customer service? We won't be back here or any of their others anytime soon.
mike: Need a club house. Beautiful course
Marlia J.: Pretty nice grounds but very expensive ($45/person on Sunday afternoon for 12 holes but we were only playing 9). We were there for a group event and were told at hole 7 that we were playing too slow and the group ahead of us was at hole 9. They said someone had called to complain, but no one outside of our party had approached us asking to play through.
Birdie Master: Perfect course for walking, if that's your thing. 12 holes is great. Close proximity greens to tees. $20-40 greens fees. Fairways, tees, and greens all immaculate, no weeds anywhere on the property.
luther senter: Great course nicely maintained
Jamie LeBrun: Greens are awful, your ball can roll two feet and stop all of a sudden. If you were to go an inch off the fare-way you have grass up to your ankle. Hope I never have to hit here again.
Don Jessup: Always fun
Brian Johnson: Nice course way too expensive. Only 12 holes but charge like its 18
Nancy Lansing: 12 fantastic holes. Gets backed up, not good pace, needs to be better starting.
CJ Ludwick: Course in great shape!
Robert Robinson: Nice course. Love the 12 holes idea!
Erik Rosendale: Course was in nice shape. Green fees are way to high for what it is.
Keith's Lamb: Course was in great shape. Love 12 hole time-frame
jason paiz: Awesome 12 hole concept because 9 just isn't enough.. well laid out course with elevations and challenging greens. Definitely worth the drive from Grand Rapids and the $35.. I will be back.. 👍
David Mongeau: Course was nice but costs as much to play 12 holes as it would to play 18 somewhere else.
Kenyon Shane: Nice 12 hole course for this who like a good old fashion course with fairways and greens that won’t leave you throwing your clubs.
Chris guardiola: The golf course is very nice, hard greens super cheap. I enjoyed walking the 12 holes very much.
