Sarah Wright: Grateful they were willing to take in an injured Oven bird 🐦....only asked for a donation you can afford
Sarah Stone: They are also a song bird sanctuary...took in an injured Oven bird and only asked for whatever donation I could afford...grateful for the service they provide
Lauren: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismGreat place for wild animals who need help! Lots of space and knowledgeable staff. They do not accept raccoons
Jenni O'Brien: Wonderful staff that goes above and beyond. They have a loving and kind heart to help animals. I truly appreciate what they do here.
Alishia Egeler: I take any wildlife I find to Nottingham Nature Nook, as long as they accept that animal. But they're always amazing and truly care about the animals they take in
Alison Wright: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueAbsolutely fantastic! Kids went to summer camp and had an amazing experience. Daily riding lessons, high quality crafts, and lots of horse info. Safe environment with extra security measures. Highly recommended!
Lewis Hanft: Every year my tree service unfortunately ends up relocating baby squirrels! I cannot say enough good about the staff, the expertise, they kind heartedness, the willingness to go above and beyond, and the amazing patience and care that Nottingham and staff show towards these and all of the animals they interact with! I hope that if you are in question about using their services you look no further than this review and you give them a chance to prove the same to you! As time passes things like this getting more and more challenging to find. But the sheer love and admiration they have for animals cannot be ignored! Thank you to all of your staff and everyone who is a part of this business in anyway you fill my heart with joy each each time you go out of your way and out of your pocket to help these innocent babies! Thank you very much!!!
Jayne Kelley: Did not rate correctly, darn phone! Cheryl gets five stars plus another for good measure!

Horse Teaching and Research: what do users think?

Sandra Clay: It was really relaxing strolling around and interacting with the horses and barn cats. My 6 year old son was thrilled. We will stop by again.
Jazmine Ramirez: We went today first time going & we enjoyed every bit of it, walking around seeing all the horse's outside & you can bring carrots to feed the horse's & loved seeing the foal's enjoying the outdoors as well.. It's also free to the public
Auction Fan: Excellent place to spend a day with your kids and the horses. Make sure to bring food they love carrots.
M. Syarif (omcalip): My kids love it! Veeerryy big barn, and like no one there. It's only you and the horses. You may want to bring carrots/apples before you go there, to feed the horses.Free entrance!Wide parking space, and free parking too.
Raphael Kasen: One of East Lansing's best kept secrets!

Sundance Riding Stables: what do users think?
Quentin: I was able to feed the horses
Craig Johnson: Great place to go ride
Matthew Gillett: I visited Sundance Riding Stables in Grand Ledge, Michigan, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. As someone who loves horses but has limited riding experience, I was thrilled to find a stable that catered to riders of all levels. The staff at Sundance Riding Stables were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they made me feel comfortable and safe throughout my ride. The horses were well-trained and well-cared for, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The trail ride itself was beautiful, taking us through wooded areas, open fields, and along the Grand River. The scenery was breathtaking, and it was amazing to be able to experience it from horseback. What I loved most about Sundance Riding Stables was the variety of experiences they offer. They have everything from trail rides to pony rides for younger children, making it a great place for families. They also offer horseback riding lessons for those looking to improve their skills.Overall, I highly recommend Sundance Riding Stables to anyone looking for a fun and unique outdoor experience. The staff, horses, and scenery are all top-notch, and it's a great way to connect with nature and these magnificent animals. I can't wait to return and explore more of what this wonderful stable has to offer.
cael menken: I went to horse camp here I bonded with the horses and had lots of fun!
Chris M: Can't wait to go back!
Lisa LAD: Bridles literally on backwards rendering the reins a joke. Never placed anyone's feet properly in stirrups making it dangersous for the people that didn't wear heels of any sort. Horse I had had rain rot directly underneath the cinch. More problematic, I had to dismount to help a rider, after I had asked the lead person on two different occasions to help this woman. Great place but needs an experience horse person handling these rides. The Equine law does NOT absolve anyplace from being liablefor gross negligence. What I saw here that day. A shame because the foundation is there for things to be perfect for all!
Michelle Annis: Love going out there to see George roaming around his pen..
Julia Szybowicz: A fabulous time, especially with Shelby as wrangler/trail guide!!!🤩PSThank you for making sure to fix Achille's reins, too!!!
Thomas Wilber: This place was great had fun for me and my fiance's first time horse back riding!
Nathan Wells: Can't wait to come back! The staff are accommodating. Started raining when we got there and they still let us ride, since we had driven over and hour to get there. Thank you all!
Mo Tbr: Well trained staff and horses. Great family fun experience.
John Dusek: This was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. The ride was through woods and open meadow. Kid and adult friendly and accommodating to all skill levels. Will definitely return.
Alyssa Slocombe: This was our first time riding horses, they had a petting zoo, they were patient with my kids. As soon as they got off the horses they said when can we do that again. Really fun time for the whole family 🙂
Rebecca George: Very frustrating experience to take 7 girls without being able to make a reservation and get there and have to wait another hour! And to be charged more than was quoted to me on the phone. And the ride was only 40 minutes because it took so long to saddle up thirteen people. The previous ride only had 6 people so not sure why we couldn’t have been included with that ride. Not worth the money or time.
Emma George: We have ridden here a couple times with large groups, so we called ahead, but they wouldn't let us reserve a spot. I even showed up early but they still wouldn't accept that a large group was coming. The time we wanted to ride filled up because they only take 10 at a time, so we ended up waiting 2.5 hours for a ride. Our group, and other people I talked to while waiting, were coming from 3 different directions and live 30-40 minutes away, so even if there are riding spots when we leave home, it can easily be full once we arrive. They over-filled our riding spot so by the time we all got on horses, it was only a 30 minute ride for the same price. They have lots of people waiting outside, even parties of 1-2, because there's just no way to know if you can ride at your desired time. They really should do reservation-only so that horses and guides aren't overworked, and people can enjoy their full ride in a timely manner.
Cassie Snider: This was our second time attending. Our first time was absolutely fantastic! Not a single complaint! How ever this time was much busier and I know they are under staffed and have newer staff who are still learning but our “guide” was rude and ignored our complaints. I brought my kid who was riding for her first time ever. I repeatedly let that be known. The horse behind me on the ride kept biting the horse I was riding and I repeatedly tried to get Kaitlyn to address it and help the girl behind me understand how to keep her horse at a distance. Kaitlyn said “oh no that’s not happening” like what do you mean? We continued telling her she continued flirting with my partner and not helping. I guided my horse over to the other side of the trail to stop the biting she yelled at me when I then said again “the horse behind him is bitting at him” she said “oh not Louie no way” referring to the horse biting said he wouldn’t do that. But he was. She then told my kid to let me go ahead of her to which I said I wasn’t comfortable as my kid is not experienced and I didn’t want her horse reacting poorly to the nipping. She still would not listen. She made our experience unnerving. I hope she gets retrained. She was also incredibly rude and talked down to me repeatedly while focusing very hard on her conversation with my partner and texting on her phone the entire ride.To say it was uncomfortable is an understatement. It was borderline dangerous.
Halmurad Turghun: Fantastic.
Emily Fell: We enjoyed riding through the woods, the horses were good, and Morgan was a great guide.
Kip Armstrong: Kids had a great time riding the trails at Sundance and Bonita was a great guide. They can't wait to go back. See you next time.
Mike Tanner: Had a blast, the trail guides were helpful and friendly.
Kim Harris: Awesome place. Great time.

Northfork Farms & Outback, LLC: what do users think?
Fisher Mayes: Northfork is amazing the staff is so kind
Jeff Hymer: We bring our grandson to the summer camps here and he loves all the activities. It’s nice to see him outside having fun in the summer. He loves the swimming, wagon ride, and of course the horses.
Julia Yonkman: I have been riding here for five years, and lets just say i would not be near the person i have without this place. The staff are so kind a patient with lots of experience and training. I have been to 5+ camps here and there is not a minute im not having fun. No matter how young or how old, you are guaranteed an amazing experience full of fun and memories that will last a lifetime. The counselors are amazing, and love what they do, and same with the coaches. Highly HIGHLY recommended!!!
Jcranger: I went to northforks camp last year. I had the best time ever. Everybody was so nice and I had a lot of fun.
Sophia Mally: Came here a few years ago and i felt VIOLATED. We had a CHOICE to resite the bible verse and i was never religious when i was younger. The owner girl who had glasses i think told me something along the lines of “id be very disappointed if yoy were my daughter” all because i didnt wanna remember the bible verses? Was really odd. This didn’t happen the first year i came.
Allison Rosario: My daughter has gone to Northforks summer camp the last 6 years, along with taking lessons. She Absolutely loves the camp. i would recommend this camp that teaches love and Patients to these young minds.
world problems 101: Worst experience ever they force you to recite and memorize Bible verses with no choice to not also give you ribbons for reciting these verses. If you don't want your kids to be barraded by push and forced to do these things, find a different camp instead.
Bradley Pingle: Thankful to have had Northfork Farms host our wedding yesterday. Beautiful venue and a serene ceremony site. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Sasha for all the help as well!
Angie Pierce: Fantastic venue for a wedding. Everything was perfect. Sasha did a fantastic job! Thank you so much for making Shauna and Jimmy's wedding day the most beautiful day anyone could imagine. I highly recommend!!!
Michael Meesseman: Great lessons!
Kaitlyn Ripley: I recommended a friend to come to the ride into winter outing! The horses were very well trained along with the instructors that coached the kids. Santa was wonderful and the kids loved talking about what they wanted for Christmas. Will definitely recommend again to anyone that wants a nice afternoon around the animals
steph becker: Attended the Christmas event today… LOVED IT. Everyone is SO nice. Horse pen was educational while professional.
James hawkins: Went there for the Christmas deal with my 2 year old daughter the package included 5 mins of horse riding my daughters turn came around she went in was scared and less than a minute in we were pushed out because “another person was behind us” come on it’s a 2 year old where’s our other 4 minutes or patience for a child??????Will never return even if I’m offended free lessons for my daughter
Helen Kuchinski: What lovely place.
Nick Bengel: Great horses. Great trainers. The worst management, the easiest requests are met with rude responses and minimal effort to assist you. Ask for a receipt of service and find out!! Make sure you check your balances!
Debbie: Great family atmosphere!
Angie Steinhauer: My daughter takes riding lessons here. She loves taking lessons from Christie. Christie is very down to Earth and loves what she does and it reflects in the knowledge and care she provides to her students.
T B: Great place, friendly staff
Bernadette Warren: Due to COVID restrictions, we had to change our venue a couple months prior to our wedding. We are soooo thankful that we found Northfork Farms & Outback. Our wedding day was PERFECT! The property is beautiful and extremely well kept. Sasha is AMAZING to work with and really helped make our special day more than we could have imagined.
Sherry Grondin: Nice setting for a country wedding.
Karen None Of Your Business: My granddaughter loves this place. They are so workable and patient with children. A very warm family atmosphere. She can hardly wait for camp.

Nicholas Karageorge: Dacey warner invited me here and I loved it I'd work here one day maybe just maybe even ride
Nancy Benovich Gilby: lovely, great dressage shows
EPIC_GUY: Horrible place.
Lisa Lowell: Beautiful well maintained facility. The family who owns wyn are gracious hosts. Always a joy and relaxing when we spend a weekend showing dressage here!
Anne Voshel: Excellent facility with great staff.
Nancy Ames: I have just been to the loveliest wedding at Wyn Farm in Williamstown, MI. What a romantic and gorgeous setting. From the weeping willow, to the horse paddocks, to the hay fields beyonds, it is a truly idyllic setting
Jennifer Ames: We recently discovered Wyn Farm and are thrilled! We were looking for a place for our 12 year old son to pursue his passion for riding and several people recomended Wyn Farm. Wyn Farm has fabulous well trained horses available for lessons, and the quality of their private instruction is outstanding. We also love that our son is learning to care for as well as groom and tack the horses he rides. Our son would love nothing more than to have his own horse. If we end up buying a horse, we would hope to board it at Wyn Farm. The staff is friendly and knoweldgeable, and the facilities include newer barns, with good sized stalls, well maintained indoor and outdoor riding rings, and vast pastures. It also helps that they are well located, just of I-96.
