Sportsman's Warehouse: what do users think?
Theodore S. Ransaw: The guy behind the counter came out and spent a good deal of time answering questions and sharing things I didn't know. Few sales people have product knowledge like that anymore.
Jayson Chapman: Has become my go to place for all things outdoors ! The selection is good, and the prices pretty decent overall . Knowledgeable and friendly customer service
Evan Murphy: Creepy gun culture and still seems to be going out of business. Always have issues with computers at checkout but say it just happened. No fishing stock at all. Go elsewhere.
Jeremy B: Lots of selection on guns. One time I went in to get deer tags and machine was down after 30 minutes of trying had to go somewhere else.
Mitch Adam: A good sporting goods store. They have a good supply of gear for waterfowl hunting, wich is really nice for me. They have I nice size gun counter with a fairly large supply of hand guns and long guns. It's also convenient to have 5.11 tactical gear in the store as well. The camping and hiking gear section is well laid out and stocked as well. The pricing on apparel is pretty high though. Can't say much about the fishing or bow hunting departments as I've never been through them. They seem to be as well stocked and supplied as the rest of the store though.
Joe Ladd: Not bad product lines but the telephone automated service does not work at all. It breaks up, never forwards your call or simply hangs up. If I lived next store it wouldn't be a problem but i am a half hour away. I hope they fix this soon.
Thomas Goodson: Great place for all your outdoor needs and a good selection
Robert Clarke: Had what I needed at fair price
Juston Marshall: I got really great service.
Rafael Buckles: The staff was very kind and were able to fully refund my purchase. I actually ended up buying a better gun for a similar price.
Cody Darnell: Customer service is poor. had to call multipleTimes after being sat on hold for 13 mins both times and the gentleman that did answer was just rude! Will definitely take my business else where
B Gz: As a 1st time customer it was a pleasant surprise. Lots of choices and competitive pricing. Customer service was very good and everyone I encountered was helpful.
Mark Stanley: Great place to shop.
littlefeild jake: Prices are decent
Dan Gambill: Very knowledgeable and helpful firearms staff on my latest purchase.
Colton Schmaltz: Ordered a shotgun online for pickup and it turned out that the picture they had posted to the website was Incorrect. The staff was very kind and were able to fully refund my purchase. I actually ended up buying a better gun for a similar price. 10/10 staff 5/10 website
geemanjeff: Bought a Master built smoker. Great service and great price.
Clayton: Helpful staff
C T (MnkyDlffy): I enjoy as a regular customer browsing and shopping this sportsman warehouse but today changed that.I recently experience being followed by a employee pasting back and forth glaring his eyes my way pretending to look and touch stuff like he's working being a physiognomy maybe because of my skin color or ethinc treated as if i was a thief attempting to steal something.I was just checking out different products and reading descriptions to make sure I was going to buy the right thing. I don't mean to assume anything but I would prefer any employee to just come my way and ask if i needed any help.
Rjelmiles: Helpful and friendly staff. Large selection on a variety of outdoor sporting goods.
Brandon Elbers: Lots of variety, fair prices, helpful staff

Nomad Anglers - ORVIS: what do users think?
Christian Wright: They must want all the overpriced gear they sold you to get confiscated by the DNR they apparently can't be bothered to sell fishing licenses.
Alek Roehl: Quality fly fishing gear, well-stocked fly selection for various fisheries in Michigan, plenty of fly tying materials, and pleasant conversations with great people behind the counter of the shop. Close proximity to Michigan State University's campus in East Lansing. Highly recommend stopping in.
Freedom Yard Drains: Stopped by on Saturday 12/17 at 1pm. The sign on the door said store hours 10-2. Store was closed. I drove a long way to spend money.
Dan Dombos: We went through a rough patch on a recent order that didn't go as planned. I may or may not get what I tried to order, but they reached out and made amends. I'm probably shopping in person from now on, but that's better for them anyway.Four stars for a well-stocked local fly shop in mid and west Michigan.
Austin Karlzen: Good selection for a smaller shop, okay prices, good shop to go to for information on local streams/rivers. I've been going here for about a year and half and even bought a fairly expensive (to me) 8 weight rod and reel last year for pike/larger flies. Until today I haven't had a reason to complain. I walked in later today(2/15/22) and the guy seemed very informed on early year tactics and I told him I'm in the market for an inexpensive 11/12 weight rod and reel. He pulls out a 7/8 orvis reel and tries to tell me it's basically an 11 weight reel and I realize the drag systems may not scale up based on weight for some brands/applications/etc but I knew what I was in the market for for a reel. It upset me a bit to think he could try and sell me on a new reel that may or may not be able to hold all the line and backing I will need for my setup AND the drag I may need when the fish tries running off(MUSKY). They had a decent offer on an Echo Husky 11 weight rod and I was glad that it was an option for me but a bit out of my price range for a little bit.
William Rundle: Small store. Rarely open reliably. Most of the time I show up they're closed. Hours contradict whatever is posted anywhere online. Decent selection of materials when they can keep stock. Service is outstanding, but again, it's difficult to know when the shop is open.Edit. Hours are updated and my review went from 3 to 5 since it is now easier to plan trips while the business is open.
Brian K: Hours are terrible!!!
Anthony Loiselle: Great place, Brian is the best! Very knowledgeable, great products, and he is willing to go out of his way for the customer, support your local fly guy!
Richard Narrington: Excellent fly shop!!
Patrick Perrin: Great customer service! I purchased a new fly rod, and when I went to use it for the first time one of the sections was cracked. I contacted Nomad and explained the situation. They were able to replace the rod that same day, no questions asked. I was literally in and out of the store in about 2 minutes. Love it when a business stands behind their products! Highly recommended!
Ryan del Gaudio: I’m a beginner fly fisherman, went to nomad anglers in Lansing, even with the preventions covid-19 has brought, Brian was able to set me up and give me advice to help me get out on the water. Highly recommend.
Jon Arend: Love going in here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection to choose from.
jay everett belous: Best service and most knowledgeable crew
Rich Augsburger: One stop shopping. Great selections and average pricing.
Lance Beasley: I'm new to fly tying. The staff at Nomad Anglers is always happy to be there and have been very helpful in getting materials and giving advice on trying flys. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had as good an experience as a customer anywhere else - no matter what I was buying.
Tim Schofield: Great shop. Clean, organized and friendly staff 🙂
Paul Glass: Folks at Nomad run a great shop. They were out of stock on an item so I sent an email asking when they'd get more in. An hour later I had an email asking me what I wanted and a week later another email saying they had what I was looking for and were holding it for me. When my package arrived it had a handwritten note directly to me.Amazon is great for light bulbs and diapers, Nomad is better for fishing stuff. They're email newsletter doesn't even suck. What more could you even ask for.
battleship Strachan: Great knowledge
Kent Dow: Excellent!!
Game Of Inches TV: Went in for a pair of waders for a hunt and the guys were extremely helpful.
Douglas Edwards: Pure fishing

Grand River Bait and Tackle: what do users think?
Terry Tyronce: Always goes here would recommend this little shop to any and all fisher beginners and pros alike. The cute you g lady that works there is always polite and very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing. So if your in Lansing for a fishing trip definitely stop on guarantee she has wahay you need.
Austin Karlzen: If you like deals on tackle(some new but most older) this place should NOT be overlooked. They have all types of fishing rods, tackle, baits, lures, soft plastics, weights, a wall of various hooks and fair sized area for fly tying enthusiasts. All of it priced fair and usually plenty of it.
Jeff Johnston: real good place to get your fishing supplies. iv caught many fish on the advice and minnows from the bait shop. big bonus is she can get your pole fixed and maintained. she replaced a tip on my favorite pole in under 5 minutes. I continue to recommend this place to anyone.
Elizabeth Gilroy: Great experience! Owner was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Price was more than fair. Can’t recommend this shop highly enough and won’t be shopping for fishing gear anywhere else from now on.
Matt Brodhead: Your grandfather’s bait shop is alive and well in Lansing. Looking for something? I’m sure they have it in some form. If not they sure as heck can tell ya where you can find it.
John Howell: Best place to go for ANYTHING you need. Anna is amazing and will help you out with anything from a total outfitting to just some worms or minnows.Looking to upgrade or clear out some fear? Take it in and see what you can do with it.
Edward Henley: The owner Ann is a great and wonderful person. Her shop was full with all kinds of odds and ends.Don't let the size of the place fool you. she utilizes every nook and cranny, Along with giving back to her community.
Travis Smith: Very helpful and friendly staff. Many options of lures to choose from.
Scott McMillan: I was like a kid in a candy store in there. Lots of new fishing stuff from lures, line, and terminal tackle. As well as a ton of reasonably priced used fishing stuff from poles, lures, tackle boxes and tackle. Will try to give the small business owner more of my business, now that I know how much fishing stuff is available.
David Kloeckner: Great service

Moose Creek Sports: what do users think?
Travis Conti-Michigan Realtor: We have had several firearms shipped to Moose Creek! They have a great, knowledgeable, friendly crew of people! I highly recommend them!
Jeremy B: 👎
Jordan Grossman: Garbage service. Rude. No inventory.
Ken Spurbeck: I had 2 pistols sent to Moose creek. I have never had my paperwork processed so fast, did the paperwork in and out. I will be using them again.
Mark Ziegler: Great people to work with and the process was the smoothest when compared to my past ffl transfers. I won't go anywhere else, these guys are the most affordable and the best in Lansing
Aaron Hollingsworth: My perfurred place to shop better prices than most great ffl dealer fees if you like to shop online
Ron Shafer: Found and purchased a 9mm and a 12 gauge pump shotgun for home defense for 360.00 for both !!
Todd Lebedin (Sickwell): I have had a couple guns I bought online transferred here now. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the transfer rate is pretty low compared to other FFL.
Jessica Stockenauer: Went in today and was treated great. got a nice gun for a good deal and was overall happy with the experience thanks moose creek keep up the good work!! Making improvements!
Omar Karim: dont go here, firearms are serious business and these people do not conduct themselves seriously. Rather they are very unprofessional and will not only give you a headache but their lack of professionalism will definitely lead to illegal activity. AVOID
Jessica Lynne: Went to purchase a gun and staff was very rude from the start. They let me pay for my gun and waited for me to get finished with paper work to be told they wouldnt sell me a gun since i work at a marijuana facility.. Got everything corrected and went through with the sale and at that point they decide to tell me they cant release my gun to me due to THEM not checking my id until after everything was done and AFTER my ffl went through EVERY step was done wrong on their behalf... VERY UNPROFFESIONAL
michael kelly: Had a great buying experience. Staff was very helpful and patient with my wife who bought her first gun today. Thank you for the time and help.
david barron: Found staff very helpful selection is not the biggest but if you check online prices for the same guns they carry you will find their prices are very competitive went for one gun ended up with two
Robert Clark: Horrible place
Andrew Drust: Used to use these guys to process transfers since they charged the lowest transfer rates in the area. As a gun shop, they're nothing special, a small selection and average to high prices. Their store policy of having the FFL where the firearm is coming from contact them first has proved a little inconvenient at times and has led to miscommunications that puts me as the buyer in an awkward middle position, especially when store policies conflict. But because it was cheap and convenient, I was okay putting up with it for a time.I had a sketchy experience a couple months ago when I had a complete AR lower shipped to them. I got it home to discover that the bolt catch was broken. This happens when it is rattled repeatedly, either from shipping, or letting the hammer repeatedly fall and strike the lower. Since they didn't give me the box that it was supposed to come in, I had no way of knowing whether it was in fact damaged during shipping or if they were playing around with the trigger in the back. Since I was swapping the bolt catch out anyway, I decided to give all parties involved the benefit of the doubt and not raise the issue. But my latest interaction with them has put to rest any will to deal with them again. I recently sold a firearm over GunBroker and was trying to have it shipped to an FFL. I reached out to them before it sold and asked them how much it would be to ship a firearm to another FFL through them. They replied "$25". Fine, reasonable. I took the firearm there once it sold, but the clerk acted in an extremely rude manner and gave me a runaround. He said he couldn't ship it that day, but he would start the paperwork, then he didn't have time to do the paperwork, then he wouldn't ship it until Monday, then he called someone over to start the paperwork, but then he didn't want to handle it that day, back and forth. Also, they neglected to tell me before, that $25 to "ship" was actually just their charge to handle the paperwork and that I would still have to pay for shipping, which they neglected to tell me before. He ended our interaction by telling me it would be simpler for me to drive it to the receiving FFL in Ohio myself. Since it's apparently not worth their time or money for me to do business there, then I will no longer waste my time or money there. It's well worth the extra charge to go through another dealer who isn't going to play games with me or play around with the stuff that I get in.
Lee Charles: I ordered a shotgun through them, the process was smooth and their FFL fee was reasonable.I also got some used tools from the store side, got a good price and they made sure everything I bought was in working order.
Jack Harb: Will not be going here. I called with some simple questions and the man that answered the phone was incredibly curt to the point of being rude.Hey, you want business? Don't treat people that have questions like the are dirt. Simple. Remember, you exist because of us, not the other way around.
Joshua Haneline: Shouldn't advertise as an archery shop. Only thing they have for archery is 10 year old bows hanging from the ceiling. Gun selection seems small, but alright for such a small place. If your looking for archery stuff don't bother coming.

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
Dee Webb: This store is clean, organized and usually has what I'm looking for.The cashier's are always congenial.Received excellent help and suggestions in camping equipment and athletic shoes departments last night.Always walk out of there with a purchase.
Dave Moore: Mary at the front end was extremely rude, impatient and not willing to hear that another cashier had my return behind the counter. She rushed me out the checkout lane, saying “ have a great day in a really Condescending rude tone” I shop here all the time, but I will not be returning if she is still employed here. Terrible customer service. Everyone else was very welcoming besides Mary. She looked like she was in a very bad mood. You lost a good weekly returning customer over one employee with a terrible attitude. I’d give this spot zero stars if I could. Thanks for the terrible experience Mary!!!!
Luann Renteria: 5* for the greeter. Told him we were looking for golf clubs. He was very informative about what was available in the golf department and named the two guys that would help us out. Was looking around the golf department for about 10 minutes and no one came out of the office to help us....very disappointing...
Susan Jaminet: Disappointed that you don't have much of a selection of golf accessories.
Island Ewert: Solid place for your sports equipment. The online order is nice for picking things up quickly too, they are friendly.
Katina Richardson: I came in today and had to leave because there was a pit bull in the store OFF LEASH. I felt so unsafe and couldn’t believe it.
Marleen Cornwell: Went to exchange shoes. Shoe dept employee was very patient and helped me alot. Thank you!
Farah Siddiqi: Very good quality clothing and shoes
Karen Doty-Gorman: The golf area young man was very helpful!! The young lady at cash register was great too!! It was nice to see such kind people at the store again!!
William Parker: Had a fishing reel spun with new line gentlemen was very helpful with picking right line for what I'm fishing for.
Tyrone Williams: I want to thank Al Le Blanc and Tywan Williams fot help and support. Your only ad good as your team.Stay Healthy
Sarah Wright: Went looking for a bicycle 🚲 and found a selection that was fair sized...a little pricey but then again everything is nowadays...if you play sports this is a good spot to find your accessories...⚽️⚾️ 🏀🏐🏈🏉🎾 🎳🏏🏑🏒 🏓🏸⛳️🎣⛸️🥊🥌🤺🏋‍♂️🤼‍♂️⛺️🛶
Jeffrey W: Usually get good service, help in the golf area and fair prices.
Pamela Hill: Very helpful staff ! Lots of shoe choices!!
Jimmy Thompson: We need a Scheels in Michigan!! Scheels would be awesome in the Landing area. But this place will do for now
Matthew Scheel: Bike was a lemon and they gave me the wrong owner's manual
Think. It.: They had what I was looking for and helpful staff.
Franklin Irons: Helpful
Richard Schmitz: Nice place with choice products to choose from no mater what your sport is
Daryl Thomas: Had a good experience there today.👍👍
Brian Kiger: Golf dept is amazing. Kris K was so helpful and took care of what I needed

West Marine: what do users think?
David Kloeckner: Helped me find a fuel filter for my Yamaha.
Robert Augustyn: Very friendly and had exactly what I needed
Bill Bennett: The woman currently working now doesn't even know how to read the part manual to get the part you need... Go somewhere else if it requires any assistance to get the part you need.
Jon Kelly: Drove all the way from Grand Ledge to find the store locked at 1:30 on a Saturday. Website says open until 5. Thanks for the call letting me know my stuff was in, then deciding to close early
Scott Wild: Great place to find your boating needs. Kinda of a weird spot but it works
S Wild: Great place! 1st time there an was very impressed on the selection. The staff was a lot of help
G A: Very friendly, helpful and courteous
Rob. V: Jim, Manager of The West Marine location in Lansing,mi was Extremely Helpful. I was on the hunt for a railblaza star HD mount and Jim called Railblaza up and I Now have my Mounts Coming in The Mail. Employees where really nice and helpful as well. Thanks Everyone down at West Marine.
Michael Vader Misner: Friendly and helpful staff.
Bob O: I've always liked West Marine. I picked up a new anchor today at a good price.
Hazen Briles: Getting parts for boat
Emily Lilly-lacca: Nice service by the employees
Roy Osterhout: If you need boat stuff, it's the place to go
Jason Reader: Knowledgeable and really helpful !!
Colonial Tinker: Had what i needed
Cheryl Niznak: Not helpful. High prices. Purchased Mercury 3.5 outboard. Took it to the lake. Brand new motor wouldn't start. A new motor should start. West Marine was not taking responsibility for selling a bad motor . Now we have to take it in and deal with Mercury directly. Who knows how long that will take. Bad choice going there. Don't go there.
Laura W: We were planning on grabbing a bunch of stuff at West Marine. They're pretty well wiped out of stock. No tubes. No life jackets. No truck deliveries in 4 weeks. The shelves look like they're going out of business. No public restroom even for customers. Exact cash or card only. Masks mandatory for entry. Staff was friendly.
Chas Petersen: Associates were very friendly and helpful. Shelves were light but they offered to send me what I was looking for.
Katrina McGinnis: It was wonderful Aloha West Marina they always have what I want very friendly people you're in you're out not too expensive I wouldn't go nowhere else
Andrew Denler: Great place, great workers. Helped me make the better decision for supplies.
Dan Ohagan: No gripe about the location. The service is good and they have lots of the things you need. My issue is with West Marine. The price gouging they engage in is jaw dropping. I once paid 70 some odd dollars for a standard fuel hose because I needed it that day. Only ever go to West Marine in an emergency. The emergency being that you really want to be on the water 😉.

Dunham's Sports: what do users think?
Chris Jensen: Although I gave it four stars, the staff is highly incompetent and they have no fishing gear
Allon Robbins: Great prices on a Large Variety of sporting goods. They have gear from all sports including hunting and fishing equipment.
Richard Pritchard: Good customer service
Roger Tahtinen: This particular store was a mess. I could hardly get around.
Gregory Root: Terrible return policy I cannot return a Christmas gift just for store credit? I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!! I was gonna spend triple on what she spent on that YETI too. You blew it!
Jeremy Stock: Stopped in to pick up a pair of shoes the website said were in stock only to be told they don't carry that brand. It's not 1997 anymore, fix your systems.
Darin Johnson: Best source for guns and ammunition and shoes. Their clothing is a little on the high side but they do carry quality brands
Keith Nelson: They have a good selection of items. I think its a bit pricey. The service at the register was wildly slow.
Drew: Nice store but the prices on general merchandise seemed high.
Kevin Spinner: Great in store sales, anything your child needs for football is here but it seems like inventory is a little light on some products. I had to go back another trip to get a couple things that were out of stock but on my return trip back I was able to find the proper size mouth guard. They have a lot of clearance sales on end of season attire. Found baseball pants for 7.00 originally 30.00 good deals
Bryton Mathis: Best Dunham's I've been to in awhile!!! Highly recommended!!!
James Wertz: Damn associate I believe would not stop talking to another associate went to look at guns. I stood at counter for 10 mins listening to dudes conversation with a girl and he could see over the shelf I was looking but dint once think to ask if I needed help or anything. Then after his conversation he walked over to another area close to the gun display. My girl walked around and looked and the guy ignored her too dint even ask if she needed help or anything.First time going in this one. They all seem be the same no help in gun area of store so you gotta walk all the way up front and ask a cashier or whoever works there to help in gun department.Well there they had an add for buy this get something free I really wanted to buy it to get it free.
Tom Treanor: Good selection of everything
Stephanie Cruz: The air must have been broken, because it was extremely hot
Mitch Adam: Very nice Dunham's. Well stocked...... Bought two nice Carhartt hoodies.😉
Justin Miedema: Sometimes feels like this is the last place to buy ammo.
UnwholesomeImp: Friendly staff, had what I needed at a good price
JR Banks: Very helpful staff and affordable price
Aj Zapata: I'm in the market for pool cues. They have a few. I bought a few. No complaints, I just wish there was more of a selection. So, I started shopping online. But I still go and checkout what they have.
Chad Arnett: Although I was able to find a couple shirts in my size( needing them in a 3XLT). The shoes were a let down. I've been to a few Dunhams that had a separate rack for just larger sizes. This one didn't. And me and the family had a hard time finding someone to help with shoes for my daughter.
Andrea Vargo: Not much of a fishing section compared to other locations.

Dunham's Sports: what do users think?
Vanessa Smith: Very disappointed in the gun department and didn’t appreciate being lied to. Went into the store today and the lady in the gun department said the FBI system was down and has been down for a couple days before even filling out my paper work. So I went total firearms and they did my paperwork with no problem. If you’re African-American, like myself and this happens to you go to total fire arms, they’ll take care of you.
Ninja gamer77: Thus place has been here for over 20 years. Came and got some sweet football cleats for my nephew. Already peeped out the pricing before I came and he found an awesome pair.
Jim Wysocki: Ladders everywhere, change needed in drawers, but great selection and gear
Erin Baker: Great Experience 😁
Matt Hammond: Stock full of Kayaks at very reasonable prices.
Bryan Barrientes: I went to work and I wore new shoe it really good comfortable thanks
r h: When you try to support local brick and mortar, but the customer service drives you straight back to amazon.
Joe Nehls: It's not cheap because the CEO of Dunham's Sports is doing a public service. It's cheap because the products they sell are inferior to higher quality items.
Island Ewert: Not the flashiest Dunham's in the league but a solid choice when you need sporting gear in a pinch. Helpful staff
Michele Dodge: Very poor experience today .Not happy with the experience I had and will not return
Blake Bray: 👌
Al Maywood: Good service no product that I was seeking
Big J: Always great prices
C. Curtis: Sporting goods stores come and go in the greater Lansing area! a huge thank you to Dunhams for staying here, always having great prices and good inventory🇺🇸🇺🇸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pam Rymanowicz: Finally had something i wanted. Seems every time they advertise they don't have it in any of the stores:-( this wasn't advertised so they had it lol
Aaron Dakin: Great deal on firearms and lots of ammo!
Tom “Pugdaddie” Olson: Nice place but half the stuff isn't priced. Used to be the attorney general would come down on stores that didn't price their stock in some manner. Apparently, that's not a thing anymore. It certainly keeps me from buying random stuff. No sticker? Put it back on the shelf unless it's something I really need, then I *might* ask someone or maybe I'll try to buy it somewhere else.
Wanda Morse: Great place.
jeff Rogers: Good service
Brandi Brewer: Looked around to kill time, seen my nephews & brother in law.
Steve Rogers: All the sporting goods I need
