St Vincent Catholic Charities: what do users think?
Alex C: I recommend anyone looking to become a foster parent here, look elsewhere. I have few good things to say about this agency. If you're considering donating, look for a different charity in Lansing.
Hailey Amarie: I was a child in their care. I was here for almost a year with cancer and they never took me to a dr to get care. We didn’t know I had cancer until I was out of their care. While I was terribly sick under their care I was mistreated and gaslight by the staff at how sick I was getting. I was also placed on “sick bay” where you only get one meal a day when you are sick. I lost alot of weight and suffered immeasurable mental pain from this facility. Because of this facility when I got help for my condition it was almost too late. I almost died. Not to mention they recently got in trouble because a male staff member had a whole year long relationship with a 14 year old. You can look it up on google. Please reconsider another facility to help your children and family. For the sake of everyone. I can say that some staff members here were my light during my hard times here.
Kim Marple: This place is a joke they don't try to place family back together they think they can make money off your children done with this place..yoyr going to be investigated if it takes every last dime in have
Tracey Spaulding: My team has created several documentary-style videos to highlight some of the work STVCC has done through their refugee and adoption/foster care services. It's so evident how passionate this team is, and it's heart warming to see the positive impact their work has on the community.
Mia Mohammadi: They are not answer the phone.
Christine Huff: So far I am very happy with the services that my granddaughter is getting here so she can return home. From what I have been told it's one of the better residential placements in the state. I will post another review after she comes home.
Shivian Morgan: This group would rather CLOSE THEIR DOORS than place children into loving, supportive, stable, compassionate LGBTQ+ homes. Anyone who prioritizes their bigoted faith above the health and wellbeing of a CHILD is sick, depraved, and should ABSOLUTELY close their doors.
Kayliecia G: I don't particularly care for this place. They ignore you.
Rhonda Harvey: Work here nice place to work..
Kiley Zaranti: They are the worst place ever. I have ptsd after living here for two years, I didn't get a childhood because of this place, I barely ever got to see my family. Don't send your child here, let them have the childhood they deserve.
Carol Prahinski: Highly recommend the legal services for immigration. Thank you for the service provided.
Beverly Pack: I adopted a child that had previously been at St.Vincents. She still talks about how wonderful the staff was to her. After I adopted her, I took her back to see the staff. I think this is important for the staff to see that they really made a difference in her life. They were overjoyed to see her and one of the staff members spent most of the visit in tears of joy. She commented to me, " We never really know what happens to the kids when they leave here. It is so wonderful that you brought her to see us and to see that she is thriving and doing well." My adopted daughter often speaks of adopting a sister from St Vincents to help someone like she was helped.
David Williams: Very clean, and nice place

Samaritas: what do users think?
ZZee Star: Awesome
Karla Darnell: Nice place and the staff was very friendly.
Sarah Hillman: We fostered for four years through Samaritas, and while the experience itself was very stressful, the agency staff were incredibly supportive and helpful. I literally cannot imagine having navigated the process successfully without them. I'm not sure if this is a reflection of everyone's experience, or we just got very lucky, but everyone there we engaged with, from the case workers to the management and counselors, and even the support staff, was helpful, kind and wonderful to work with. If you are considering fostering, I would HIGHLY recommend working with Samaritas.
Catherine Wesley-Ottarson: Caring for and about Kids in the Foster care community is what they do.
Sadie Pingel: We chose Samaritas for our Foster/Adoption because we wanted an agency that would be open and non discriminatory to a family with two moms. They've never let us down, we always feel 100% welcome and cared about, and they've worked through a complicated case and helped us find our new son. They are committed to helping children and families.
Kleinone: A great place dedicated to helping people
John Boslooper: Always ask before bringing service/therapy dogs into the building.
Royce Ali: it took my kids from me when they was suppose to come home 😓
Susan Cole: 👍

Michigan State Capitol: what do users think?
Robert Crummel: Well kept beautiful building
Bees Bee: It was an amazing experience to be at the capital for Citizen Lobby day. The inside of the building is beautiful, full of hand carved details and ornate decorations. There is so much to look at from the floor to the ceilings. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous and all different with their own character. The house floor is the place to be, the views are breathtaking. Lost of history under this roof and would make a great location for field trips.
Elizabeth Spurgeon: Went for a field trip with my 5th grader today. I travel guide Don was AMAZING!
T _: Great place. Very historic. Get 8nvolved and meet your law makers here.
Aaron Campbell: What a beautiful architectural wonder right here in Central Michigan. With a history spanning back three different buildings, it's no wonder they decided to go big with the current version. I enjoyed spending the chilly evening making memories with my family in Lansing under the shadow of the dome.
MovieCritic1000 Ev: Really nice building! As a fanatic of government and politics, I absolutely want to see the Michigan State Capitol. I would like to oversee the entire Legislative Branch, and see how laws are passed! As an AP Government student, this Capitol building is a nice one!
Bradley Conn: They finally finished the back part of the capital. Wanted to take some photos to show the finished work. Great job
Andrew Davidson: Good riddance Michigan, enjoy Witless wHitler and Debbie Dingbat, ya'll deserve them, you get what you vote for, have fun!!
Capital City Car Service: Good riddance to this shole state, you deserve every bit of what you vote for. Peace out!!
eduardo maceo: Fue un hermoso lugar para tomar fotos. En un futuro iré y tomaré muchas más 😍
evelyn cano: Beautiful structure inside and outside, the details on the walls are amazing, the amount of art is incredible, the view from the windows is great, there is several elevators, wheelchair friendly
Brian Dible: After visiting Wisconsin's capital building, as well as Ohio's, decided I needed to drive up and check out Michigan. The building is very impressive. I just took a self guided tour as I didn't have aot of time to work with. The gave me a nice booklet that explained everything. It took me about 45 minutes to stroll the building. Such magnificent architecture. Surprised the place wasn't more busy with people walking around considering it was a Wednesday at 3:00pm.
Ashlie Weckle: Went here as a kid and was always in awe of this place and the history. Took my Grandma with me and I will always cherish that memory. I now live near the capitol building and smile each time I pass.
Glenn Stumpp: An excellent visit.
Lenny Robinson: Beautiful in the everything
Steve Richards: This was my first self guided tour of the capital and it was amazing. The first steps into the building and I was taking pictures. Everything that you see is worthy of a photograph. The dome is something that everyone needs to lay down and enjoy. In fact plan ahead and wear a coat so you feel free to lay down. Make sure that your adventures take you through the gallery looking down at all the history. Even the tile floor and door hinges are pieces of art. Plan on spending at least an hour walking around at a steady pace to see everything. On my second trip I will spend more time looking at the paintings of all the former governor's. I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of building that the artwork was secondary. Just touching the handrails and imagining all the past history is awe-inspiring. If you are new to the area or have lived here your whole life spend some time on yourself and enjoy our state capital.
Kasey Chappel: Absolutely beautiful grounds, very informative and freindly volunteer staff.
Patricia: Monday, May 16th was the best day to visit and tour the Capital. The Senate was out until 10am Tuesday. We got to see the Governor's office among other offices. Senator Curtis Hertel Jr was there and invited us onto the Senate floor and allowed us to take pictures with him. This was the best!!! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable. It was the best tour ever! 👏👏
Elle Elsie: Enjoyable, interesting and a beautiful building.
Lindsey Sengstock: I only visited outside and walked around the building, but it was beautifully maintained! I love the history and architecture!
Dark Knight: While Gretchen Whitler is in office this building is a joke and will continue to be so.
