Logan Vorce: I usually have a great time at Nimbus, but this time I could not get anyone to answer the phone so I could make a reservation. This is typical. I physically went in to make sure they had a room available, but they explained that the wifi was down meaning the karaoke system tv/video set up was not working. They had one room where I could Bluetooth my phone to the speaker and have NO TV or LYRICS. I asked if I could get a discounted rate (it is typically $40/hr) and the employee allowed for $30 and explicitly said “sure. We can do $30 for the night”. I assumed this meant $30 for the ENTIRE NIGHT— wrong! I ended up having to pay $90 for 3 hrs in a room that didn’t even have a working TV or music videos— aka the best part about karaoke at Nimbus. I would have liked a refund but at this point I will not be back anytime soon. I feel I was ripped off and the agreed upon price for the room was not what I ended up having to pay. I would have stayed home had I known it was going to be that expensive PER HOUR for a room that wasn’t even working right.

Miyah Williams: I made reservation for karaoke and found out the date I reserved, they were closed for renovations. The co owner Charlie was amazing! Charlie contacted me and we discussed the miscommunication with the reservation. Charlie offered my group to use the room for our original date. My group and I got to experience the newly renovated large ktv room. The rooms have new couches, new tables, and it was well ventilated. They also now have an app you can use if the song you wanna sing is not in their selection. I didnt use the app because there was more than enough songs to choose from. The staff member who was working was very nice and helpful. I think they officially open again later this month, because they are still renovating and i am sure it will be amazing! I would definitely visit again!

Brittany Bishop: The smell when you walk in is a full of smoke the karaoke song choice was very limited and most American were correct to match the artist which very offensive. I do not recommend for family events or celebrations. This is just for college students who have oriental decent backgrounds. I would not recommend to anyone.

Manny Karakitsos: I would call it an Asian lounge. There is a lot you can do there. You can listen to music, play Mahjongg on one of their many Mahjongg tables, play pool, sing karaoke, etc. They have open sitting areas, & private rooms you can hang out in. You can also buy Chinese snacks and non-alcoholic drinks should you want.Thought it's an Asian lounge, everyone is welcome! It's ideal for groups of friends.It's one of those places that you just have to physically see for you to understand it, but suffice to say you'll be pleasantly surprised, and a bit shocked that a place like that exists in downtown EL in an unassuming office building.Like I said, you really just have to go there to understand what the fuss is about. If you really want to have your mind blown I recommend going on weekend nights. But be warned: on weekend nights call ahead to reserve a room if you're trying to do karaoke, since it's not uncommon that all the rooms will be booked!

Mari: Good drinks, fun people, retro video games. It has the 90's Pacific North West Olympia vibe which is hard to find in this part of the country. The food is delicious, drinks are stiff, but I come for the 2 floors of retro pinball & video games. 2 pool tables. Great place to take a first date.

Noah Walker: This is a place in the Eastside well worth visiting. It's half arcade dive bar with a small intimate music venue, half Ramen place because of Ruckus Ramen. Mapo Ramen is what I recommend getting.

J R: Great dive bar, lots of events and activities , from local bands, to events, to art shows, and more. 4 stars only because il order the same thing on 2 different days (not happy hour or specials ) and get 2 different tabs. They have a ton of pinball machines , and other arcade games, pool tables, private and bar seating . There is a certain crowd that comes here, your not going to find the place full of suits getting out of the office. Check it out I think you'll like it .

chloe noelle: i have actually yet to visit but i am so so SO excited to. i have epilepsy so going to bars and clubs is quite difficult to navigate due to the heavy usage of strobe lighting. after i messaged them on instagram asking about their use/frequency of strobe; they not only gave me the best days for me to come in but also offered accommodations. i literally almost started crying when i read that. thank you so much to the staff for creating such a welcoming and inclusive environment before i even get to the physical location. you’ll never know how much it means that i get to safely enjoy something that makes me feel just a little more normal

Hippias major: Meh. Tries to come across as a place for the community, but prices are the same as anywhere else that has a better ambiance. Maybe cool when you're 21, but its 'novelty' wears off.Also very much of a place that has its favorites and then everyone else. Expect to be ignored if you dont have patches on your jacket.Pretty much the only bar in town that lcc 'intellectuals' can call home.
