Leah Hicks: Best Friends was recommended to us by a relative. The staff was very welcoming and friendly to both the dogs and us. They were very accommodating to the specific needs of each of the dogs, especially the shy one. We have now boarded them several times and just took one of the dogs to doggy day care would highly recommend them. The staff is wonderful and we feel safe and our dogs there. Would definitely recommend and we continue to use this facility frequently.

gary henderson: Always had a great experience with the staff here. Took our dog a week ago for grooming and was floored over the price. Normal cost about 54. For grooming we got charged 125. For the same grooming. Nobody said anything to me when I took her there that morning. Asked why so much and was told owners raised the price. Well I'm not going back.... You don't just raise your prices without telling anyone about the increase .

Uncle Nick: Took our dog to Best Friends Pet Hotel for the first time this weekend, and apparently the staff takes the name of the place to heart. When we went in to pick her up this morning she was hanging out with them behind the counter. Rather then make her sit alone in a cage, they instead chose to give her the love and support she needed to comfort her in a strange, new environment. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. On top of the wonderful way they treated our Pumpkin, they also gave us a free stay since it was our first time boarding her with them. Thank you to each of you that went out of your way to love our dog for us while we were out of town.

We could not be happier about the professionalism and compassion of the staff at Best Friends. These are good people who genuinely care.

Mackenzie Yuncker: Unfortunately we didn’t even get the chance to take our dogs here. We sent over our vaccination papers for our dogs a month before they were going to be staying. I had to contact them in order to make sure everything was set…. They let us know ONE week before we were going out of town that our dogs could not go there because the vaccination papers weren’t accepted. We have absolutely no way of getting them revaccinated in a week. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION. They screwed us over for our vacation.
Matthew Henry: The owner was rude and accused me of giving her a run around and trying to up charge me $50 and pretty much told me that my dog wasn’t allowed near other dogs and that she was the one caring for her and really didn’t give her the correct attention. As soon as I got my dog home she immediately had to use the bathroom like she hasn’t gone in days. Now my poor dog is just laying around like she’s malnourished. She has zero energy and you can tell something is visibly wrong. These people don’t care about your dog they care about money and I will never ever recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Lonnie Strickland: We take out 1 year old brothers there for play and stay to teach them socialization. The staff are great and really seem to care about the dogs. I get reports on their socialization goods and bass every time I pick them up.

Olivia Thiel: I have brought my dog Leo here a couple of times usually for a short visit but this time for an extended stay, my dog can be a bit timid with new people but the staff makes sure that my dog has his own space, has an opportunity for individual play as well as group play and is treated with exceptional care, he leaves having a fresh bath and I couldn't be happier with the service my dog receives.

It's a good mix of indoor and outdoor play and they always try to get everyone dried out after a wet/muddy play day so he's in good shape to jump into the car :)
Ross Martin: First time taking our Yorkie Poo to this location for grooming. The price was a bit higher than we'vepaid elsewhere, but they did an awesome job and got me in rather quickly.

Amanda Keifer: I have two rescue pups from previous abusive situations, and they can be very challenging for anyone but our family to handle. I have boarded them once, and one of them refused to allow anyone to take her outside to use the restroom; she just growled from the couch in her pen. It had been several years of never boarding them because of this, but we took a chance with Two Peas In a Pod and the experience blew our minds! They have a full home for the dogs to roam about, space outside for them, and they took the first couple of days really giving my most anxious dog lots of space and love until she got comfortable with them. Their communication was good, their prices were extremely reasonable, and they were very, very flexible with our schedule. We were road tripping, so we couldn't stick to a solid time to pick them up and they were polite and accommodating. I picked up two very happy ladies after driving back from Texas, and the comments from James made me realize that he took the time to really get to know my dogs and handle them with caution and care. They really have the feel of a personal pet sitting experience rather than a boarding kennel or service.We will definitely be using Two Peas In A Pod again, more frequently, and I can't recommend them enough to anyone that is looking for pet care while they're away.

Lori Briegel: Our dog was a "Covid puppy." The first year of his life was spent with only my husband and me. We were so happy to find Two Peas in a Pod when we resumed our travels. Every time we drop him off, his tail is wagging! He loves playing and socializing with the other dogs. James and Christina are super accommodating and genuinely enjoy what they do!

Super accommodating and willing to be flexible with you. I consider myself pretty fortunate to have someone care for my pup like they do! I’d say they’re worth their price and then some.

Was a little apprehensive about boarding her but 2 Peas in a Pod Pet Care reached out to me and explained their services, I felt at ease. Our dog was so well taken care of, had her own bed vs a kennel. The owner is super friendly and thoroughly knowledgeable. Our dog met friends (other dogs) and had several playdates with other dogs boarded. All updates were appreciated and pictures were so fun and knowing she wasn’t alone is very relieving. Most definitely will use 2 Peas in a Pod Pet Care again and will refer to my friends.

An acre of fenced in area for the dogs to run and making it feel more like home than a kennel! My doggos get so excited to see them and stay with them! Always accommodating and send lots of updates for us.

Marlette Malone: They are so awesome. I left my dog with them for the night and I was worried about leaving her. When he came to pick her up she took to him right away. My dog is very hyper and I was worried that she would be to much. They sent me pictures and kept me posted on how she was doing. I will use them from now on. They have great rates as well. Plus seems she found a new friend.

James C Woodruff Jr: Always reliable! Last moments notice and no problem at all. They even offer to pick up and drop off while I’m out of town. I have used many services similar to theirs before but nothing close to the reliability and flexibility they offer us. This is the only company In michigan I recommended 100 times over to everyone parenting a pet I know.

rcj llc19: I have to say my pup loves coming to Dog Gone Fun, which I very much appreciate. But as someone who has been bringing their dog several times a week for nearly two years, I don't find the staff "professional" as I consider professionalism to include being courteous and acknowledging your clientele. During drop-off, more often than not, someone takes my dog's leash from me, never looking at or speaking to me. If I walk in and the employees are visiting with each other, instead of greeting me or acknowledging my presents, they continue talking with one another, take my pup, and walk away. It's as if you're invisible. I have used several of their services including puppy training classes, some of which were taught by Michelle. And she has exhibited the same behavior when she's been in the lobby during drop-off and pick-up, as if she's never seen me before. Management always sets the example for employees, and employees reflect management.
Samantha Hubbard: I love dropping my dog off here for doggy daycare! He absolutely loves it, and I love reading his doggy daycare report cards. The dogs are grouped together by similar ages (my dog is currently a toddler lol), but he comes back super tired from a long day of fun.We also come here to get his nails trimmed every month, and it is super convenient with doggy daycare.The prices are very fair for doggy daycare, and nail trims. The staff is so kind and they treat the pets like their own so you know they are in good hands when they are dropped off.I attached a photo of Nash taking his nap after doggy daycare.

We have always felt so comfortable leaving her in the care of the wonderful staff members for daycare, boarding and grooming. It is so convenient to have her groomed during the day at daycare. We also appreciate the daily "report cards" we get! They're so funny and cute to read. We trust and love Dog Gone Fun! We have had no issues whatsoever.
Casey Wright: I can't say enough good things about Dog Gone Fun! Their facility is spacious and appears to be very clean. They offer a puppy daycare program and put so much though and care in to my pup's experience--making sure she got acclimated and socialized slowly. At the end of the day on pick up I get multiple in-person updates on her day, sometimes with pics, along with so much love and praise! You also get a very fun report card after a visit that lists which pups your dog has played with. Their online portal is also easy to use and make updating records and making bookings very easy.

Sydney Ruhstorfer: I am SO disappointed with the experience I had with Dog Gone Fun.I was a member at a different daycare prior to coming here and I have never had any issues with kennel cough. My dog has come to this facility twice and I have already had to dish out a $185 vet bill due to kennel cough.I notified a couple of friends of mine that also send their dogs to Dog Gone and they were also sick. When they called up there to let them know, they said that was weird since they didn’t have any other cases. Also, all 3 of my friends had notified Dog Gone, making that 4 cases in total.I called around 5:30 to speak to an owner. When I mentioned the multiple cases of kennel cough she was asking me the names of dogs and the owners even though 2 of them were from earlier in the week. (They had no record of them)Then she processed to tell me they will never send out a notification about kennel cough until they have 4 confirmed cases. I received an email around 6:30 PM notifying customers of kennel cough. I later found out this email did not go to all of Dog Gone customers, only to a select few.Overall, I am highly disappointed with how this business is being operated. I feel the safety of my dog and others was not taken into account. I will not be bringing her back here.

The facility is extremely clean and plenty of room for the dogs to play and rest. Best place in Lansing to take your dog for day care.

Kali Newbury: I absolutely adore dog gone fun! They have so much love for my pup. Our puppy used to be nervous around bigger dogs, now he plays with all sizes thanks to the awesome staff! When I walk in, everyone knows his name and tells me how happy they are to see him. It feels great knowing that the staff care as much about him as we do. It was hard to leave him the first few times but getting daily report cards and updates when we picked him up from daycare always made my day. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
Constance Lawson: My little havanese pal Sis just had her third grooming appointment at Dog Gone Fun. She looks adorable, of course, but I am most impressed with the personal interest her groomer Amber takes in Sis. She remembers that Sis had surgery when she was quite small so Amber takes special care in handling her.The facilities are very attractive. Dog Gone Fun is a bit out of my way but worth a couple extra miles for a good experience for Sis and me.

She is pulling hard to get inside and play with her friends. I don’t know if the staff knows my name, but they always greet Comet by name. I’m pretty sure it’s because they love her almost as much as I do. And isn’t that what you want when you drop your best friend off somewhere?They also have reasonable rates on grooming. Which they are great at!
