Candlewood Suites East Lansing, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
작가호철: Near at MSU golf club. But beds are so small no light break fast.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Jessica Schulte: A little out of the way but the rooms were nice. Perfect for long term stays with kitchenettes. Beds were new, no dips. Clean and nice furniture. Got a free upgrade.Rooms: Dishwasher and fridge available in suites. Had a whole pantry available. Great for long stays. Out of the way so pretty safe
mel brooks: Great Wi-Fi. The hotel is clean. Great staff. Carlos the evening manager was great . He’s friendly and very patient. I took Uber to my destinations, and the rates were reasonable. The hotel is on the grounds of a golf course.A hospital is in walking distance if medical care is needed. Lots of places to eat are close by.Nearby activities: GolfingSafety: Safe. Quiet neighborhoodFood & drinks: Many restaurants and bars near by via driving or Uber.
Clifton Copenhaver: The bathroom was the only negative experience. The tub had spackling on it(?), which meant my bath was very unpleasant. Secondly, the bathroom light had to stay off because it had very bad random strobing effectsRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Jim Larue: I found myself in the Lansing area, needing a room, but without a reservation anyplace. Originally targeting a budget place like a Red Roof Inn, I learned a couple of popular shows were in town, and lots of the usual lodging was booked. That's when I found the Candlewood. The staff was very friendly. The room's features reminded me if a Hilton Garden Inn or Marriott Courtyard than a Red Roof room. My room had a kitchenette, so meals could be prepared if I had planned ahead. This would be a great place to stay for a week or a long weekend. There were some basics for sale in a lobby area, such as prepackaged cereal, milk, microwave popcorn, etc., but far better would be to bring groceries from home or hit a local grocery store. The bed was comforatable. Everything was super clean. I'd stay here again.Rooms: Very clean, spacious, well fitted, comfortableSafety: This is across from a newer hospital in a somewhar rural setting. It appeared to be an area low in crime.
Joanna Carrillo: I have been here a couple times and each time the bathrooms were not as clean as I would like to see. With hairs in the bathtub shoe prints on floor, stains on wall etc.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Doug Milewski: Needed a place to stay after we arrived at our original hotel only to find the power was out throughout Kalamazoo and we needed to find another place to stay. This hotel a little out of our way but every hotel in the area was booked solid. Nice staff (a little overwhelmed with all the last-minute bookings), clean/spacious room, and very quiet. Everything I'm looking for in a hotel!
Max Lamee: Friendly professional staff and nice clean room. Couldn't have asked for more.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jackie Tracey: I booked a room a couple days ago and needed to adjust my reservation. It took less than a minute. I am so impressed with how easy they made this process for me!Service: 5/5 …More
WillnMandey Sauer: The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. They lose a star for having no breakfast, a star for the tub being so cracked I was afraid to use it, and a star for not having any kind of business center. They got one back because the young girl at the front desk was very friendly.I would also love to know why there's a dvd/vcr player combo in the room. Do people bring a lot of VHS tapes with them? Lmao!
Stephanie Wendt: Conveniently comes with everything you need and is in a good location. Friendly staff. Clean, although could use a good dusting. Shower/Tub diverter was broken, so could not take a bath. But at least the shower worked. 4/5 StarsRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Amy Rohrbach: Needed a room at 1am. They were super nice and made it happen for us. Always clean and nicely appointed. We love Candlewood.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Great value …More
Ed C: A long way from anywhere. Otherwise, okayRooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Duane Edmonds: The rooms are nice and clean and the whole motel is kept clean and has a nice staff.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Poetic Oddities: My girlfriend and I have recently been displaced due to flooding and mold that was growing in our ceiling unbeknownst to us in our apartment. After much haggling, our apartment complex finally agreed to get us a hotel room for the night since our entire apartment smelled of mold. Our apartment complex was going to pay for this room until we found out that we can’t check in if you’re under 21. My girlfriend and I are both 19. After a long confusing day, I called this hotel (the one my apartment sent us to) and explained our situation. The first woman I talked to was very nice and asked for us to just wait while she transferred the line, however, the second person I spoke to was very rude and told us under no circumstances were we allowed into the hotel without “adult” supervision.I understand that rules are rules. I’m not upset that they were unable to accommodate us, but the way we were spoken to was absolutely unacceptable. Especially since we were just looking for a bit of guidance.

ChinkY Witherspoon aka Daisy: Thankfully I didn’t stay at this place, but I called to check what weekly rates were and to see if they were pet friendly because I have two service dogs. The person that answered the phone was not only not professional but wanted to ask very personal questions about my federally licensed dogs. And they also sound like they were under the influence. This definitely does not sound like somewhere where you would want to take your kids or service pets. Never have I ever seen such prejudice
Kathy Collingham: I keep calling (and going there) to see if there are any rooms available for the weekly rate, but every time I call or go up there the woman at the desk is extremely rude. I have no idea why, but it's poor customer service
Siempre Brilla: Stay here once with a friend. Left early due to conditions of the room. Not my kind of place but if you absolutely need a room for cheap I guess it’ll do.Plus seeing the owners responses to reviews says a lot about the type of people who run this place. Their responses are rude. Clearly they are offended by some peoples experiences and instead of apologizing and attempting to make things better, they deny accountability.

Quality Inn University: what do users think?
Shy Barnes: I had a horrible experience at this hotel when I got in the room the beds were not made and they overcharge me because it was the last room available and also the manager came screaming and knocking on my door before it was checkout time that I hurt had to hurry up and get out of the room or else he was keeping my depositRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Thomas Taylor: The overall atmosphere of the hotel was dirty. The parking lot needed to be cleaned. The lobby area was dark and uninviting. The room was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Angel Piya: Its like my second home. Few times repeated staying here. Fav hotel in jb town
Katie Stollar: We was charged twice the amount listed online due to it being a graduation weekend for MSU. They also wanted 100 cash deposit which was to be returned after checking out. The room was decent but looked grubby in the corners. The mirror over the vanity for the bathroom had 2 large holes behind it which extended down below the frame. The cable wire for the TV was just laying on the floor next to the door for the adjoining room. If you was using both rooms it would of tripped you (or kids) over and over. The breakfast they offered was great the next day.Upon checking out the man at the desk gave us the run around about returning the deposit. He called the housekeeping who claimed we was still in the room. He threatened to have us escorted from the building and keep the 100 cash deposit. After another call to housekeeper and him informing her that we was at the front desk and not in the room she then verified we left the room and the deposit could be returned. After such a hassle and being overcharged from the online price I will personally never go back to this placeEdit to add:Owner response seemed pretty much computer generated, much like the many other reviews. Clearly they have no plans to remedy the issues or make it right with the people they've done wrong. I for one would like some sort of refund, given the fact we paid double what was advertised and then asked for a cash deposit
Yvonne Ramos: Not sure if they are going through a remodel, but our room was horrible. Stains on carpet, bathroom floor very dirty, poor lighting, poor air circulation, outdated everything. I was upset to have spent that amount of money on an extremely low quality room.It wasn't the staff's fault. Everyone was very kind.
Jacob Nepochatov: In summary, the place is a good deal if all you want is a bed, but do not expect the hotel to be even remotely "nice."The good:-really convenient location-ample parking-easy check in/out-friendly staff-comfy bedsThe bad:-extremely outdated building with dark creepy corridors (especially at night)-Stench of chlorine throughout halls because pool is not in a separate area from the rooms. It's all kinda under one roof it's weird..-there is no water station so they CHARGE for water bottles at the front desk-room phone was dead-my blanket had a coffee stain (I hope)-cherry on top was our room had a window which only looked into the corridor outside the door. I realized, even with the curtains closed, someone could see both beds through the mirror on the wall. So basically expect to have very little privacy in your room someone can just peep in if they want.
Sanjeet Shrestha: Really good for the price. They have pool tables, swimming pool, gaming station and gym. Also the breakfast was really good for the price.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
ldwalton75: I was very disappointed when I walked in and saw the sign that read....No Birthday parties, No cake, etc or you'll be asked to leave the hotel. I have had and have been a guest there for many birthday parties and celebrations. And, for families to not be allowed the opportunity to celebrate there saddens me.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
C J: What a disappointing experience. The place is old and dirty. Broken wall pieces, cracks, bed bugs, and very unprofessional. We went there for my daughter's 13th birthday. I reserved 2 rooms a month in advance. Honestly it's hard for me to even put into words how bad the manager Ron treated us and how unprofessional he was. I finished my check in, which was not the best experience. The girls went up to their room and my son and I finished bringing our stuff in. We had one balloon that was a table centerpiece that said happy birthday and one case of cupcakes, 3 presents and then our bags and snacks etc. As my son and I are walking the manager Ron stops me in my tracks as he is standing at the door of another clients hotel room arguing with her. He then proceeds to tell me no birthday stuff and I will get kicked out. He was so unprofessional. He wouldn't let me speak he wouldn't let me go collect the girls so we could discuss the situation. It was either get rid of every single bday thing including the cupcakes gifts all of it or get kicked out. No where on the reservations email or the website did it say you could not bring this stuff but he kept repeating it was on the web. By this time we are in the lobby I'm in tears, he is still talking over me being rude and unprofessional. Let me mention when we arrived there was a large group probably 10 adults a few teenagers etc in the common area by the pool with open beer cans, a case of beer on the table and a radio going. Then they brought out a TV!!! Ridiculous. Honestly if I had more time I would give more details but I'm so over the money and effort I put into this already. I have pictures of my confirmation and screen shots of the website and pics of the bed bugs etc I will be sharing and contacting corporate. Ron the manager is an arrogant, intimidating, unprofessional manager. He was eating behind the checkout counter, laughing acting like whatever. It was such a bad experience.
Julia Beck: Service at front desk is very helpful, whether switching from 2 bed room to 1 bed room, making a reservation for a tailor, or anything else the staff is always helpful.
Lori Shaw: Room was available on time, was clean and good size for the price. The bar was well staffed and good selection of drinks available.Reception staff especially Angus was very helpful and polite.Would stay again
Sara Hart: Terrible service and doesn't say they don't allow any parties on their websiteNoteworthy details: This place doesn't allow parties and doesn't tell anyone that they don't until after you deposit 200.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More

Joseph Peters: This place was just like being home. Spacious room with friendly staff. Walking distance from just about anything. Major kudos to the manager for going above and beyond expectations. 10/10 will stay there again
Melisha McMichael: We decided to stay here prior to a morning ferry crossing. The lady was very welcoming and our very large en suite room was charming and comfortable. We were served breakfast before the normal meal time because of our early ferry. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay again.

Seedar Dalasinh: We stayed for one night as a stop over from the ferry. We’re bowled over by the warm welcome and excellent conversation. So pleased we booked this rather than a faceless hotel in town. Will definitely be back if we come this way again. Thank you for a wonderful start to our holiday

Wild Goose Inn: what do users think?
Matt Mansfield: I have stayed in every single room here over the past 10 years, including getting engaged here and staying on our wedding night. Al is the nicest and most hands-on owner and we look forward to our stay every time. The staff is attentive and the breakfast is always very good too! Each room has its own character & fun details so check them all out. Conveniently located downtown so you can walk to bars, restaurants & football games.
Tiffany McGillie: A wonderful place! This perfect gem is located right in the heart of downtown East Lansing, but feels private and secluded once you enter. I can't recommend it enough. The entire place is wonderfully and thoughtfully appointed--the innkeepers have really good taste! There are interesting and beautiful things to discover in every corner, and that's before you even get to your suite (check out the cupula)! I stayed in the "Winter Eden" suite, and it was great. The spa bath room was so beautiful: Live ferns and plants surrounded the (big enough for two!) jet tub, and there were multiple skylights above. It was a great place to stay, and I can't wait to go back.Nearby activities: Saper Gallery is right across the street, and the Broad Art Museum is less than a block away (on the MSU campus). There are multiple pubs, clubs, eateries, and shops nearby. Want a really good dinner nearby? Try Beggar's Banquet!Walkability: This place is about as downtown as East Lansing gets. You can walk anywhere downtown easily and safely.Noteworthy details: Beautiful furniture and decor; secluded outdoor courtyard; quality personal products in the bathroom; spa robes in the closet; fresh flowers in the rooms!
Harold Devine: Very quaint little b&b
Kevin “Ronan” Lovell: Had a beautiful room with a jacuzzi in it. Great location great people!Rooms: Beautiful rooms with a few choices of themes. Location is great for everything MSU!Walkability: Great location
Ml Tupps: It was such a rimantic get away! It was so relaxing. This was my first time at a bed and breakfast and I was not disappointed. The rooms are so uniqueWe stayed in the Atumn room. I loved the fire place. Also its pet freindly.Rooms: It was unique and had a hot tub as my favorite feature.Nearby activities: We stayed to be close to the wharton thea8. We qent to see betwl juice. This also close to many other unique restrqunts and bakeries. The merdian mall is 8 minutes away.
Don Grinnell: This is a great place to stay, quiet, peaceful, the food and service is top notch, couldn't picked a better place to stay for my wife's birthday. P.S. the dog greeter (Yogi) is the sweetest dog ever. Great job everyone we will be a repeat guest.Ty
The Shaw's: Wife and I have enjoyed stays in every room! While we have our favorites, they are all unique/enjoyable in their own way!We absolutely Love this Bed W/breakfast! CThe rooms are amazing! The breakfast is always delicious! And then you have Yogi there to make it feel like home, while we eat.Al the owner is always friendly, and attentive! (Btw Yogi is the perfect four legged hostess friend)The location is amazing as well. As there are plenty of options for food, drinks, and activities within walking distance. You just have to look past the beer bong tables in the front yards nearly everywhere. I mean, this is college town and all... lolRooms: The rooms are amazing with in suite Jacuzzis!Nearby activities: There are ample activities all around. Food, drinks, art galleries, etc...Walkability: A variety of venues within walking distance.
Mia Hillaker: Absolutely gorgeous gem hidden in East Lansing! It's not much to look at on first glance, but every room is beautiful and unique. We rented out the whole venue for a Bachelorette Party and had a wonderful time. Very clean and the owner/staff were super friendly and respectful. They also validate parking for the lot next door, which is super convenient and much appreciated :)
Jessica Y: We went here for our anniversary and it was such a nice experience. They even brought us fresh flowers for our room that bloomed for weeks when we brought them home. It was nice to be able to walk out the door, get food, and go to a museum. I felt all the instructions ahead of time were clear and accurate. They made such smart use of the space, and I thought the layout was very unique. Vegan breakfast options are available! They made us really good oatmeal, slow cooked, with fruit and had almond milk for coffee and some good muffins!Plus, they have the cutest dog ever, and it just made it feel like home. We definitely want to go back at some point! In the winter here it was busy but quiet, it is mixed with residential housing so maybe ask ahead about noise during the summer.
Scott Schweizer: Beautiful place and the Innkeeper is the best. Like staying with friends.Walkability: Everything you need is within walking distance.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Romantic, Quiet, Great value …More
LINDA SCHWEIZER: Quaint, quiet, beautiful, warm, just fabulous! Caretaker/owner is the nicest most accommodating person ever. Sunny: I am absolutely in love with this B&B! I stayed in the Autumn Arbor room and it was so cozy! I loved the jacuzzi tub and the rainfall shower in this room! Everything was very clean and the room provided all the bathroom essentials as well as bathrobes. Their breakfast is also amazing with fresh fruit, coffee, and made to order entreea. As a bonus, during breakfast, you get to meet Yogi, the cutest dog I've ever met! Would 100% stay here again!
Erica Holt: This is the loveliest b&b around. We've wanted to stay a night here since we moved to the Lansing area 5 years ago. This place is absolutely delightful and just as lovely as the photos suggest. The room was nicely decorated with fresh flowers. The jacuzzi bath was amazing. And they offer a big breakfast in the morning.Zero complaints. The price is the same as a lot of chain hotels around, so if you're lucky enough to snag a room here, it's a much better experience.
Molly Sute: The Wild Goose Inn is the perfect escape for a low key couples getaway whether you’re coming from near or far! My fiancé and I stayed in the Autumn Arbor room where we were met with beautiful leaves covering the entire ceiling, the most perfectly selected decor, and of course a unique canopy bed constructed to resemble a beautiful tree. We enjoyed the relaxing jacuzzi tub and the ambiance of the dim lighting, candles provided, and the fireplace roaring at the foot of the bed. In the morning, we were excited to indulge in our much anticipated breakfast consisting of perfectly cooked eggs and toast, with homemade muffins and cut fruit to top it off. The greatest surprise of all was being greeted by our new furry friend, Yogi, who kept us company while we ate and was so well behaved. My fiancé and I are already planning our next trip, in hopes of staying in each of these well designed rooms! Thank you, Wild Goose Inn!
Nancy Cerkvenik: Breakfast was filling and delightful. Rooms are immaculate and the staff are wonderful as well. Very welcoming and comfortable environment.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ashley Goforth: Super perfect date overnight with my husband for our anniversary. We had flowers in our room, candles, nice outdoor seating space, so many nice games and books. Loved the organic soaps and bath salts for our spa tub.The breakfast was amazing, the service was great and everyone was so nice. The location was perfect for walking or riding bikes. Felt homey but very private. We Definitely enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much!

Red Roof Inn Lansing East – MSU: what do users think?
Tammy Hardiman: Price was not bad. Location was very convenient. Rooms were not the best. Needed remodel and deep clean. 2nd floor walkway underneath had exposed rebar and broken cement that could pose a risk to ground floor guests. We requested no housekeeping just access to fresh towels each day. We wanted to give housekeeping a break.A staff member acted as though we had intentions of taking them and made us return dirty towels each day before we could get new ones.Lastly we kept getting locked out of our room and had to have key card reset several times over the course of our stay.Overall not a terrible experience but would not choose this location again.
Lucas Dainen: Nice and quiet, accommodating for the furries. Very pleased
Gabbi: This hotel was extremely disgusting. I am only able to give one star if I was able to give no stars and leave a review I would! Not only did they not provide any hot plates for the microwave which is the only thing we have to warm up food!!!! THEY ALSO HAD ROACHES !!! I repeat they had roaches!!!! I’m itching now writing this review after I stumped in the office and demanded a refund which they gave over so easily because they knew!!!! When I address the lady in the front desk and ask have this been a pass problem she says “ “oh not in that room” …. Wouldn’t you think if they had them in one room they have them in ALL!!!!! I’m telling you guys I only spent three hours in the room in a mama roach gave birth to 38 babies in my bag!!! Luckily, I caught it the same night, I would’ve went home with roaches. How disappointing lost out on a good bag!!! Please don’t book here or you will be the next victim of this disaster!!!! Or sleep with one eye open!!!!
Aileen Huard: We stayed at the lansing Michigan location and it was awful. No towels and toilet paper and was refused towels and toilet paper at the desk had to go buy our own. Ice covered stairs my mom fell down the stairs slipping on the ice and the office staff could care less. No remote for the TV. Snow blew in at the seem of the door the shower temp was reversed the microwave handle was broke

ROBRET MATHY JR: Was not happy staying here at all. It was totally disgusting in all ways. Bathroom was so not clean and very nasty. Urine stains on toilet and floor. Toilet was still unflushed with urine in it. Bathroom door had a hole in it. Shower floor had hair all over it and not cleaned. Empty shampoo bottle on shower floor behind broken shower chair. None of the room had been dusted in a long time. The floor was not moped recently with dirty shoe prints. Carpet was not vacumed and food crumbs all over.Very dirty refrigerator. Bedding looked clean but was 100% sure. It was close to where we had to be next morning but I'll never stay there again.

Stan Myaskovskiy: I have stayed here multiple times. First stays were a fine. Decent rooms no major complaints it’s what you expect. My last stay was a complete disaster. I came to the hotel with a booked stay for 1/2-1/3.I arrived after a 6 hour drive Early 3:55~ AM exhausted and with only 3 hrs to sleep because I had to wake up early for my cats cancer appointment which was at 7:30am.Rather than give me my room, they refused and kept me awake resolving the issue until 5am with no compassion for my situation.I was quickly informed that due to some ridiculous policy they have that they —CANCELLED my room (they could have called me to make sure I’m still coming but did not) and they would only give me a room if they could charge me a second time FOR THE SAME ROOM I ALREADY PAID IN FULL FOR.I showed them in writing that rooms are non refundable and they insisted i just needed to talk to the manager for my refund. As I came in at 4am, I had no choice but to pay a second time for the exact same room. So I was fully double charged. They are now all useless by telling me only their manager “Josh” can refund me, but I call every day, emailed Josh, and don’t think this person exists because he is never there, he doesn’t reply to my emails. And every day they tell me “he will be in tomorrow” but he hasn’t been in once.I’m now out $140 for a one night stay and can’t seem to get anyone to care about giving me a resolution. They are happy to take my money, and not happy to even attempt to return in.Had to tell them that if I don’t hear back I’m going to fully file a dispute for both payments with my credit card company.I stayed for 3 hours from 5am-7:30 and then left home. This isn’t how you treat someone with a sick and dying animal who travels 6 hrs for treatment at MSU.If I get a resolution that is responsible I’ll edit my review but at this current time I’m deeply disappointed and frustrated.
Heather Lane: Our room was nasty my husband was on call cause of the storm an we chose this place cause we've never had a problem. Nick Woodhams: Prepare to get your room broken into by the maids and water that never gets hot. Other than that the safe they have in their lobby was cool.

Ed Altounian: I worked an event here not too long ago. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It's a very well themed location and everything was clean. Very nice venue and I would definitely recommend it. I'd definitely recommend the location to anyone staying in the area. The 10th floor bar makes excellent drinks!Food & drinks: Lots of eateries, coffee, drinks etc within walking distance.
Nicole Henderson: This hotel exceeded my expectations! I was expecting lower quality due to the more than reasonable price but this management team set the bar incredibly high. Paige at the front desk was incredibly kind and the hospitality she displayed was top notch. The facilities were well maintained, the valet team was super. This is 100% the place you want to stay when visiting the area!

Clarion Pointe East Lansing University Area: what do users think?
Jacqui Cross: I disappointed in the price, I know it was the graduation weekend but how do you list the room on any other day under $100 to more than $200 per night plus taxes and fees. On top of that they charged both of my cc cards the amount due and even over charged 1 of my cards and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Mike Meredith: This place is a few years away from the wrecking ball. No amount of paint or new carpet will make it better. Electrical fixtures loose from wall, bathroom fan hanging down from ceiling, floors permanently stained, door jams corroded, etc. Has some "temporary residents" living here.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Thaddeus Tuchalski: The rooms look nice online, but in person is a different story. The shades do not block out much light and will cast your room in a light glow, so be sure to bring a night mask. Whoever installed the new flooring did not know what they were doing. The subfloor was not secured in multiple areas which was very squeaky when you walked - sorry downstairs neighbor. The transition between the carpet to the bathroom tile was at least a 1" difference - there was exposed metal between the front entry tile and the carpet as well. My wife cut her heel on that. The bathroom drain was slow and the hair dryer fell off the wall. The room is also very loud and you will feel as though you are sleeping in the suicide lane with traffic driving by you. The breakfast wasn't worth eating, so we went elsewhere to get food. The only good thing going for this place were the mattresses, which were new, but they did not have a mattress pad, only a top sheet.
Tejas Deoras: We stayed here to visit my sister studying at MSU. All the hotel staff which we met were super kind and helpful. The location is super convenient if you are visiting MSU.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Lisa Stonerock: Room was musty smelling. Top blankets were dirty and smell bad. Torn carpet in spots and bathroom walls were gross. Floor in bathroom looked dirty and shower door would not stay shut. Panel was coming off the wall bed beds. It was Graduation weekend so we paid a lot of money for a dirty room. We left early and did not want to stay another night there. Very unhappy.
Angel Stadelmayer: Very clean and the breakfast is amazingRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Genetrice Cole: The staff was great! She was pleasant and friendly. The room was nice but it wasn't alot of places nearby to eat.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Eric Delgado: Rooms: Decent roomRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly …More
Samantha Chapin: Pool was disgusting, cold, and dirty. Room wasn't completely clean. Their towels were so small you had to use 2 to dry off, even for a skinny person like myself.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Emily Wesselman: The bed was comfortable and the room is a good size. We had the King Studio Suite. However, we could not get the wifi to work. The front desk manager gave us a website to try and connect but it still would not work. We were trying to connect on 5 different devices so we know it wasn’t just a device issue. We had specifically booked the suite to utilize the desk space to “work from home” given the advertisement of free wifi at the hotel, but since the wifi wouldn’t work that wasn’t going to happen.
Sonny Davis: Nice place to stay, it's modernish & the beds are clean, no elevators though so if u have anything heavy or are elderly & have a hard time on stairs then make sure you get a 1st level room. Also only exterior access to all the rooms which isn't a bad thing I guess its just different than I prefer, under the bed was filthy with Cherios & gummies strewn around under it, & the corners in the bathroom were full of dust & dirt, there was cob webs in the upper corner of the shower along with a long leg spider still making more webs, the place is nice but it seemed like sloppy housekeeping, all in all the assistance from the counter was very good.Rooms: Nice newer but not cleaned good enough.Nearby activities: Lots of stuff to do within 10 minutes of the hotel.Food & drinks: The breakfast was simple but very nice
Maverick B: I stayed here for work and it was a nice stay. The motel is clean and there is a breakfast. It is your standard continental breakfast for the most part. It's very affordable compared to other places around Lansing, and on the same road as several restaurants that offer delivery. However, I noticed my door was not well insulated against noise so the cleaning staff doing their rounds is pretty loud when they walk by, but that didn't bother me.The only issue I had at the motel was some miscommunication on how long I was staying, which resulted in a cleaning lady waking me up and a follow-up phone call from the motel office while I was trying to sleep after a third shift. We worked things out pretty quick, and that was the only issue I had at that place. I'll likely book there again if I'm in the Lansing area in the future.
Aubrianna Bang: My husband and I have been staying here for almost a week now, we are coming from out of town visiting family and our stay has been fabulous so far. Room was clean, staff is friendly. The breakfast in the morning is amazing ! We haven’t came into counter with one bad experience yet standing here. Highly recommended!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Longwen Chen: When I arrived at the front desk, I was greeted by the General Manager Brendan. He was nice and helpful. He even matched the lowest price I found on other websites. The place is safe, the staffs are friendly, and the room is clean. Great experience. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ron: It's an Inexpensive room and it didn't have bugsRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Miss Lady: I needed last minute accommodations this past weekend and I was assisted by Brandon. He provided top notch customer service & got me booked quickly. My stay was pleasant and so was all the staff that I encountered. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms.
Al Imran Husain: Giving it 3.5 stars. My son and I were there for 2 nights, Sunday-Tuesday attending camp at MSU. This was not my first choice, but the hotels around the area were booked and Lansing is deceptively further than you may assume.Pros: For a motel, it was surprisingly very clean and spacious. We stayed in room 220 and it looked brand new. Shower had strong water power, beds were comfortable. And their was a very sizable refrigerator and microwave which worked nicely if you wanted to bring in some groceries. The WIFI was also great. The management staff was excellent. Very receptive, warm and honest. You have to request for house keeping, but that's Ok as they do a superb job. They also had breakfast and a coffee station. Parking was simple. One of the best things about this place was location. Right on the outskirts of East Lansing and Okemos, it was overall relatively safe with a Whole Foods across the street along with several restaurant and retail establishments.Cons: The people staying at the motel. There were some shady cats. We were lucky on the Sunday night. It was relatively peaceful. But the Monday night...if it hadn't been for the AC unit running on high which helped drown out a lot of outside noise, I would have called the cops. Loud, obnoxious, assumingly a group of teens and early twenty-somethings running incessantly all over the floor at 2, 3, 4 am, screaming, banging doors. There was no authority figure so it was out of control. They completely had no disregard for other patrons of the motel. This place was great in a pinch. For the value it works. I mean there is no way you're going to get a two night stay in East Lansing for $200, including all fees and taxes. But it comes with the risk of not having a proper sleep. All hell broke loose on a Monday night. I couldn't imagine this place on a Friday or Saturday. Management really needs to keep their unruly patrons on lock, or call the police. Again, a very good place to stay only if you want to cut down on costs or all other hotels are booked in the East Lansing area.
Cassandra Herrick: My fiance and I love staying here. The rooms and clean.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Christal Alexander: It's most definitely improved from when it use to be the East Lansing Inn.#LeveledUp
Katerina Colbert: I would never work there again!!!! The boss is a child him self don't know how to be a boss or even run the place!!!! He is not fair wit the works that's there he's only fair to them if he likes u!!!!! The rooms are not up to date!!!!! If i was u i wouldn't even waste my money on that place!!!!! DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Radisson Hotel Lansing at the Capitol: what do users think?
Bonnie Hanner: How can a hotel like this have no microwave? Along with having no way to heat up your left overs from last night that you put in their fridge their restaurant is closed as well so and don’t know when it will reopen according to the front desk. Therefore there is no continental breakfast. Parking, You either have to pay for parking in the parking deck or park on the street which by 8 a.m. is not free anymore.I can go to the west side of Lansing and get more convenient parking and a microwave to heat up my food for $40 cheaper.
Annette Munroe: PICK ANYWHERE BUT HERE!Was told on arrival that the king room we reserved months in advance (& confirmed with reservatiin staff the day prior to our arrival) was not available & our only option was a double. The only thing keeping this review from being a full 1 star was the staff behind the counter who discounted our room & gave us a couple free non-alcoholic beverages (as well as handling several issues yet to come)When we asked the valet where the hotel parking lot was, he said our "only option was valet", so we filled out the form & gave him our key & he said we would get a text to use for payment & pickup once they got "caught up". Never got any text.Headed to assigned room & found a "do not disturb" sign on door handle but key unlocked door which opened to find pillow & blankets strewn across the floor so we quickly backed out. Back down to the check-in line to get a new room & the staff advised us that room had not only been marked "cleaned" but also marked "inspected & ready for occupancy" so she sent a housekeeping mgr up to our next room to verify it was good & then deal with the first room.Second room had view of a heart-wrenching 9-11 Monument with bright upward shining spotlights, unfortunately shining directly into our window & only sheer curtains were closable (black out curtains were apparently only for "decor" because their track only went 1 ft from the corners). Wall were paper thin & every surrounding conversation was loudly audible in detail all night. No hotel info in room & no TV info channel so we had no directions to hotel amenities or check out procedure.Obviously slept poorly but fast forward to 7am & still no text from valet so now worrying our car would be missing. Got to front desk to check out & find valet to sort out our car, only to be told the 3rd party valets never showed up for work that am & the hotel was trying to contact 3rd party mgt. Luckily the hotel mgr had keys to valet box so was able to get us & several others our keys & directions to find our cars (incredibly they asked those who had the valet text to still pay but most refused, they did give us our key based on photo ID only)Overall a HORRIBLE hotel experience, especially for the Radisson brand. Location was the only other good thing about hotel as it was across the street from convention center however everyone else at my event who stayed there had similar horror stories including 1 couple who said their first assigned room smelled so strongly of mold when they opened the door that they also had to be re-assigned to a double room instead of the king they paid for.AN INCREDIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT! I'd personally recommend staying elsewhere & just planning a little longer walk or drive to convention center before I'd trust Radisson again.

gli azzurri: You better not have anything remotely valuable in your car, or valet will steal it. Any reviews to the contrary are clearly fake. Nobody writes a review to compliment valet staff. This hotel is sketchy as can be. Much better options in nearby.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More

brandy pence: Very recently renovated rooms with beautiful upgrades.Rooms: Recently updated rooms with nice touches.Nearby activities: Convention center and minor league baseball as well as good restaurants.Walkability: Convenient to the Convention Center with a skywalk.
Oona Demko: Really loud ongoing construction that will not stop. Front desk won’t address the noise and says to just wait. They can’t switch rooms because they are supposedly all booked. I would not recommend staying here
Peggy Rauch: A lot of construction that does not allow for use of pool or hot tub. No bathtub in room. No internet password given. Valet parking was $28Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Vishwa Teja Yerram: Strangest visit of recent times. There was mix up on their end during check in and someone opened our room door at 3 AM. Lucky us we had to door latch on if not they would have walked on to us during our sleep. This is located in convenient location but some websites mentioned of free parking which is not accurate. Public Garage close to it offer full day parking for over 20$. The room was outdated, dusting was not done on the furniture. All furniture in the suite had dust on it. Avoid it if you can.
Meghan Perry: If you come here you have two options for parking, you can valet parking is $30 something after taxes. And then there is a parking lot next door it's $15 for over night but they start charging every hour I think $3 at 6 or 7 am. You can get info at the pay here spot when you drive in but you pay when you leave. They do not have a pool and there is construction going on at the moment but it didn't seem to bother me.The bar and the kitchen closes at 9. I had a room we're you can see the capital I highly recommend. Valet, check in guy, and bartender are great. Hope this helps! I was on the tenth floor.Rooms: Rooms are nice, good size TV, love the shower.Walkability: There is a market near by, some art to look at and a few bars. Lol it's actually beautiful but make sure your tires are good coming to Lansing. Lol
Drew Dickey: I would like to say the valet service here is absolutely amazing. I was greeted and my car was taken good care of by Connor. Connor took off on foot full sprint looked like a cheetah and must be related to one because I blinked and he was back. So just wanna say a special thanks to Sir. Connor I’ll be forever GRATEFUL!!
Jennifer King: Staff were great. Room cleanliness could def be improved. There were some pretty gross stains on the comforter that I didn't find until just prior to checkout. Overnight parking in the ramp was costly at $21, then I got a ticket for $30 for being there a few hours over my check out time.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More

W WT: Two of the more pressing issues at the time were cleanliness if the facility, and safety. Coming out of a pandemic this was my first time staying overnight in a hotel again. The conference center and the rooms both appeared well attended to. My other concern was safety after the incident on campus being a few days past. It was great to see the campus full if it's normal hustle and bustle. I enjoyed getting out and venturing around Lansing.Nearby activities: Lots of local places to get out and eat/shop.

The restaurant was cozy, food was not pricey at all and tasted so good. The waiters were extremely polite.I recommend it and would definitely stay there again despite the shower 😂
Kevin Corwin: Ours was a 3-night stay while visiting the University. From the front desk to the wonderful Spartan Spirit shop in the lobby area to random spots in the hallways, the staff were warm, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was clean with truly comfortable beds. Old injuries frequently mean sore a shoulder and back with hotel beds, but I had no issues here. The ability to park in the adjacent parking structure at no additional cost was an outstanding guest benefit. Some nearby competitors charge $30/night for parking. The covered parking also meant I didn't have to clear off my car after either snowfall during our stay.
Heaven Baier (Ma'am Baier): This is definitely not a 3 star. Good Lord they need to take lessons from Springhill Suites across the way that is a 2 star but should be a 4 star.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 1/5 …More
