Eric Pfeifle: Hired to renovate a home but almost ended up having to evict him when he moved himself in, sent mail to home unknowingly. Paid over $10k for labor, spent 5 months on work that should only take a couple weeks. Refused to leave home when fired, then installing his own door locks on exterior only giving him access to the home. Almost had to evict him when no rental agreement nor money was ever discussed as an option. Pending lawsuit for labor payment. House also had a horrible cigarette smell which took professional service with ozone machines, duct cleaning, etc to fix. Ive done many renovations with a dozen different contractors and this was a absolute nightmare! When police claimed they couldnt remove him without eviction(no agreement), I was able to get him out by turning off utility services to home and call city to red tag. Beware of this contractor. He seems nice and trusting but the true person he is will shortly be anxious to con you for money! Turned a 60 day flip into 5 months of stalling while getting half down payment, crying for advances promising completion of work while the typical 2 month free payments ended causing extra mortgage loan & Utility payments. Today, hes known as the #1 Top Lansing Scammers. After he was fired and his squatting tactics were eliminated, the new contractor finished the entire house in 4 weeks. The work he did do was correctly done but the cons outweigh the pros with time, cost and unknown expenses. Hope he can get help so he can be the person hes capable of being! taxi 42: I had visited a BIG name granite supplier in Wixom and was completely overwhelmed by the unorganized chaos. I left frazzled and upset. I was so happy my installer sent me to Blue Granite. BG is tucked away off Grand River (moving soon). The warehouse is VERY open with many many slabs of granite from which to choose. I was allowed to wander at my leisure and there was a salesperson there to answer questions if needed. The owner was there on my 2nd visit. He was able to move slabs and even show me pieces of granite for which he could give a bigger discount. There is no quartz here. Just wonderful selections of granite in a calm, helpful environment. Highly Recommend.

We put our name on some slabs and they shipped the wrong ones to our granite installer and when he called to find out why they sent the wrong ones they sold the ones we picked out. They sent a totally different set of slabs that aren't even the same name or shade!!!! Now we are screwed and have to go find new slabs. Glad we've been living without countertops in our house for a month because they have incompetent workers. And glad that we took a day off work to drive all that way to pick our slabs too. Thanks for screwing us over.

Matthew Purol: Wow! What an amazing job they did! Greg (owner) was phenomenal to work with in terms of options and final measurements. Countertops were installed a week after we placed the order. Installation came and guys got right to work and didn’t miss a single detail. From making sure everything was secure to going over by hand to make sure there were no sharp edges. They took their time cutting hole for sink and double checked with each other to make sure it was right. They cleaned up their mess including vacuuming and sweeping! Oh! And did I mention their quote was almost $1000 less than elsewhere? Highly recommend counterfitters!

He took measurements, talked through recommendations with us regarding pattern and edge considerations - and was very patient with all of our questions. He called a few days later and scheduled installation two weeks from his original visit, which we thought was great turnaround. Next came installation. Stew was meticulous and took pride in our counter installation. He was very personable (and nice to our dog too!) and stayed until the job was done. When all was said and done, the quote came in almost $1000 less than others we received, and the service was excellent.
