Sarah Fireflyfarm: I can't say enough positive things about my doctor, Chandra Weimer, at Sparrow Family North. I went through a health crisis at about age 22--I woke up and was sore and sick. I stayed that way. She referred me to MSU, U of M, Johns Hopkins, and Mayo Clinic. Finally we discovered, after numerous tests and hospital visits, that I have severe food allergies. Throughout my insanely long health crisis (almost 4 years of barely being able to move, being sick all the time, and physically ill) we discovered that I have severe food allergies. She did everything in her power to help me, including research that went beyond the scope of a normal General Practitioner. I'm grateful to have her in my life.

Morgan Graham: I had the best experience here, all staff from floor one to three were kind and patient. Mrs. Wickenheiser and her staff were amazingly understanding and wonderful. I found my new Doctor's office! I absolutely recommend this Sparrow Medical Group Center!

Scott Scotson: The doctor I've been going to for many years has closed their whole practice and joined a new one that is much too far away for me. So I've been calling around and no one is taking new patients. You'd think a big town with a lot of people would have enough doctors. Especially the main hospital/medical facility in Lansing... Sparrow.

Amanda Goerge: I showed up without an appointment and they were able to get me in very quickly. Staff are very friendly and efficient. A manager even met me to walk me out when my xrays were done to make sure the service I received was exemplary. I would highly recommend this location.

The new office is so much nicer and more convenient then the previous.Appointment scheduling is a little far out at times, but I've never had a problem with getting right in, in emergency situations.The doctors take into consideration patient concerns and really make you feel comfortable.

Nikki Thompson Frazier: NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE. While I like Dr. Heidi Johnson and nurse Nicki, the staff is terrible! I was running late to an appointment for which I needed a referral to an Ortho doc because I could barely move my shoulder/arm. I called and said I am running late. I arrived exactly 10 minutes late and the reception said the doctor would not see me because I was late. The office was not busy. There was only one patient in the waiting room and mind you there are multiple doctors at this location. I asked what was the late policy and if the office had a grace period before canceling a person's appointment. After asking at least twice, the receptionist reluctantly said 9 minutes. Really! She lied because I called Sparrow Client Compliant line and they said there was no such policy and if so they would request, on my behalf, that I receive it in writing. The receptionist lied and said 9 minutes to validate canceling my appointment. She offered to reschedule me for tomorrow. I walked out. I don't want a doctor who can run late and I'm made to wait but when I am running late they refuse to see me. Poor patient care.

Josh Dalley: A+! My wife and I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Schorfhaar and Kate Supianoski. They’re amazing! Same for the staff. I highly recommend this facility.

Diane Baker: I used to go to a doctor there that I trusted because I was born at Sparrow Hospital and thought that they would treat me right, since I trusted the hospital, but I got treated much worse than the hospital. They canceled an appointment that I waited 3 months for....I arrived for my appointment on time to find out that it was canceled. Upset. Doctor and nurse were not there. A redhead started to tell me that she was changing my email!! I am 72yrs old and started crying. I asked her for some water so I could take a Valium to calm down. I guess I was let go of as a patient because they were giving me Valium. They said that I swore and I never did. The redhead lied.

Roger Kochenderfer: Their patient portal is cumbersome and difficult to use. They require an e-visit for simple questions and prescription changes, I guess so they can charge for it, but the portal keeps sending me to the wrong doctor. It was a lot easier when I could just send a med request in an email directly to my doctor.

Brittney Baley: Dr.King is amazing, took all my concerns seriously putting in several referrals that my old PCP wouldn't do. Spoke with me on my level as I have a little bit of Healthcare experience and made sure I felt comfortable. Never had a doctor take me so seriously being young with possible joint and back issues.

Dr. M Opreanu has been my primary care Doctor for about 4 years and she is the very best! her and the staff have been on my team from day one. Ruth Gardner: All of Sparrow services availabe thu this group. Nurse navigator to help co-cordinate appointments tests etc. Must be firm about your own health goals with your provider. You are an active participant in your own health care.

Dr gomie was supposed to refer me to another surgeon they waited 4 days before sending a fax to other doctors office and then 6 days later I'm told they never even sent referral.. good luck and be ready to wait for substandard practices thanks for making the process way harder than it needed to be and further complicating my problem

Ryan Hofstetter: I like my doctor, but it is almost impossible to make appointments, call with questions, or refill prescriptions. So many times I have called in and it takes 20-30 minutes to get through and then only if I wasn’t hung up on and have to call back to start the process again. It is very frustrating to have to call and wait on hold for so long and even more so to have the call hung up on and have to to the whole process again. Please fix this. I like my doctor and don’t want to have to fo somewhere else just because the call services is terrible.

Daniel Smith: Unable to get service here. Attempted for 18 months to try and get a provider.Even after several advertisements they had stating they are accepting new patients. Always the same story when calling- "I'm sorry we are not accepting patients. Try back in 6 months or try back at the beginning of the year." I have heard it all from this office. Except truth and honesty. It seems they may have good doctors just none that can help you anytime soon or ever.

Ashley Petree: WARNING ALL NEW PATIENTS!!!! I was on a 3 month wait list to be seen as a new patient had never been to the office before. On my appointment date I was was having trouble finding the location and had called to get directions and let the staff know I was lost and may be a few minutes late, she had said that's fine. I still had trouble finding the exact location and called back, I was hung up on and then only received busy signal. Once I was able to find the office the staff was VERY RUDE and told me that the doctor will not see me and she didn't didn't care because I wasn't a patient. (It was my first scheduled visit to become a patient) I was 4 minutes late because I couldn't find the office and staff did not care to help. This was the MOST UNPERFESSIONAL / WORST Dr. Office I have ever been to.

Iesha Coleman: I have been a patient here for going on 3 years , I definitely would recommend Dr. Brezenski. Which is why I have 3 stars She is kind patient and helpful. However, I have been considering finding somewhere else because the front desk customer service is lacking. On many occasions when I needed to call to schedule or re schedule an apt. The rep is rude , doesn’t seem to want to hear what I have to say and seems like I am a nuisance. It is starting to really become an issue for me, Hopefully it will improve because other than that I love everything else about the practice.

Laurie Bodo: I called to inquire when I could get an appointment as a new patient and was told nothing available for 6 months. I asked if I had a medical condition that needed attention such as an infection or cold and was told to go to an Urgent Care or RediCare.

Jared Ross: I first want to say that I really like my primary care doctor, Dr. Brzezinski, which is why I will give them 2 stars. The staff at the front desk has been really unhelpful and seemingly unintelligible at times. I had a referral to a specialist and was given one a couple weeks after the request. I was not satisfied with my specialist so I requested and suggested a different Dr. I was told that it would be changed and should expect them to contact me directly within 2 weeks. It has been a month so I inquired about my referral and was provided this response "Good after jared the referral was send the same day here is they phone # you can give them a call to see if they can get you in" well not only is that sentence painful to read for anyone who is even sub-par at reading the English language, the information I was provided is to the original referral that I was unhappy with from 2 months ago. This is not the only challenge I've had dealing with the front desk here, which is very frustrating given I really think Dr. Brzezinski is a good primary care physician.

Brittany Fraser: I strongly recommend Dr. Brzezinski. She and her staff are kind, thorough and make sure I not only understand what all is going on, but why. Today I received SAME DAY blood testing results. I am incredibly pleased and impressed.

Mark Dunlap: I am a new patient at this facility and, at present, have not seen Dr. Lutz yet for my initial appoint. I have spoken with the office staff on two separate occasions ND both times, the person(s) I spoke with were rude and don't appear to listen to whomever they speak with. They interrupted me when trying to explain something, I felt I was a total and complete inconvenience. The office staff are the first people new and existing patients have contact with. I certainly hope that the physicians and medical staff don't allow this kind of behavior or treat their patients in the same manner.
