Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose, & Throat, PC - Allergy and Sinus Center: what do users think?
Jerry Bayer: This office is excellent with Covid precautions. Everyone is pleasant. Rebecca is one of my very favorite medical professionals. She listens intently to my concerns and solves the issues I am experiencing with my hearing aides. Thanks so much!Update: I have returned for service on my hearing aids with the same experience as noted above. Every audiologist has treated me with utmost care and resolved the issues with my equipment. Most recently, one of my hearing aides no longer functions; I was provided loaners while mine are sent to the manufacturer for repair. This truly is a top notch practice!
Alan Walter: GREAT Dr. ! Very friendly, listens well to your problem and explains why and how things work and what is going on. Very recommendable.
Kathy Barnes: I thought everyone I dealt with was very friendly. I was taken back quickly and I saw the doctor quickly. I really liked the doctor she explained things so I understood everything.
Tami Hankey: Very personable, thoroughly explained the procedure, and took time to answer questions. Highly recommend!
matt kaufman: Dr. Gainor is a competent, caring physician of the highest order.
Dale Walkinhood: Emily was very professional and informative. Looking forward to my surgery with her colleagues as I'm sure there just as professional.
L Ri: Excellence in health care ! From scheduling, to waiting room. Have had experiences with my children and now myself . They are an office that gets things done from testing , to procedures.
Jessica Westfall: We were referred to Mid-Michigan ENT by our pediatrician. If I only had to deal with the doctors, this would be a 5-star review. Dr. Chesney was wonderful. However, the billing process and billing staff is AWFUL. They would not proceed with a procedure until we paid up front and a week in advance. I questioned how they got this amount, why they needed pre-payment and what would happen if our deductible changed after the procedure. I was told because "doctors don't always get paid" and that because our deductible wasn't met, that's what they were charging. Fast forward to after the procedure, sure enough, the medical facility billed our insurance first and before Mid-Michigan ENT, so now we had to pay the facility our deductible and get a refund from Mid-Michigan ENT. When we called to tell them this, the woman said there was a "stack" on her desk that needed refunded. It took over a week to get our refund. This process is not only exhausting, but extremely unprofessional. I would unfortunately recommend finding another ENT.
Charles Van Tuyl Sr.: This office sets up appointments for allergy testing on Mondays. To have the testing done you must not be taking certain (cold) medications or they cannot do the allergy testing. If you get sick Friday evening to Sunday you will be unable to complete your testing and will be charged for a no-show for getting sick even if you call and tell them before the appointment. So I would say to avoid Monday appointments, or seek out an alternative clinic that exercises common sense concerning no-shows.
Merrilyn Vaughn Hoffman: Caring, patient and personable
Stephanie Springer: Only place I will go for my ears. Great physicians and staff!
Karen Hummel: After thinking I could take care of the excess wax in my ear it finally got to the point where I knew I needed to see the experts. I was greeted with smiles and courteous reception staff for check-in. Lloyd, the gentleman that took care of me couldn't have been nicer. He explained what he was going to doing and upon finishing was kind enough to answer questions I had for possibly correcting any future mishaps with too much wax build-up. Will be recommending Mid-Michigan ENT to friends and family.Thank you to all, and especially Lloyd for taking care of me.
John Quinn: Very knowledgeable, professional and personable.
Pat Newhouse: I always have a great experience at MENT.
vicki chaney: Dr. did stitches and half were out by evening. They were left bunched up and lots of extra thread sitting in my mouth. He was very cordial and did well on procedure but......
Britanie Dault: Emily Griffore was amazing! I didn’t receive much help with my issue with the on-call over the weekend, then calling being insistent with an appt I was told no, and finally that she could see us. She said she absolutely needed to come in and had a bad infection. She was patient and reassuring to my 4 year old daughter as much as she could be and helped getting her taken care of! Absolutely recommend her!
Samuel Teed: Knowledgeable. Pleasant. Took time to explain things. Checked to be sure I understood. Checked to see if I had questions.
Mary Wickens: I have been a patient at Mid-Michigan ENT for many years. Recently, I needed an exam and new hearing devices. I saw Dr. Gainer for my exam, and she is terrific. I am working with Mary Steel in their audiology unit. Mary is a great listener, and a compassionate and skilled provider. She is super up to date on the latest technology and takes the time to make certain that my devices are working perfectly for me. Their prices are very competitive and include all follow. I highly recommend Mary Steel at Mic-Michigan ENT if you need help with hearing loss.
renee britvec: Emily is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to your concerns. She validates your concerns and treats you with respect.
J Robinson: Emily and the staff are all very kind and thoughtful and professional. All of my goals were accomplished by the end of my appointment. Thank you for your service.
Kelly Patrick: I was able to get in for an appointment and treated very quickly. Emily was very professional and took time to both explain my condition and answer my questions thoroughly.

Gilroy Gerald DO, FOCOO, FAAOA: what do users think?
Cheryl Towers: Dr Gilroy's office is a joke. I took my mother to an appt in March and dr Gilroy's nurse told him my mom couldn't hear worth s@*t. Thank goodness my mother didn't hear it but I did. This morning I called to see when I could bring her in to get the hearing aids they had donated they said they would call back in a little bit. Have not called back yet.
R A: I seen Dr. Gilroy for ringing in my ear and the first words he used for me is “hopeless” and my stomach literally sank. How discouraging and rude nonetheless to have a condition that is life ruining. Dr. Gilroy was barely helpful, he didn’t look through my paper work with the 50 plus questions to follow up. He basically said there’s nothing he can do. Whether there is nothing you can do, you do not bring a patient down by saying they’re hopeless. If it weren’t for Ruth who is friendly I would’ve gave 1 star or zero if I had the chance. And for Robin, I do not care for her attitude. Sadly I do no recommend this place.
Melissa Klingbeil: He is very nice and helpful.
Leslie Weir: He leaves the door wide open so there is no privacy during appointments. I once asked him if he could shut the door for my patient privacy and he asked me if I was going to attack him. I was thrown, when I said no and that I didn't need everyone listening to my business he replied that no one is listening. He asked me during one appt about one of my prescriptions and I told him I don't wish to discuss it at this time in front of my family member so he then proceeded to ask me multiple more times about it and then looked at my chart and said why I take it. I was so angry because we had discussed it many many times before.I have suffered with dizziness for over two years. Dr. Gilroy did not run any tests the entire time I have seen him and he has not helped me at all with my ear pain or ringing or dizziness. He just kept saying it is an inner ear problem and usually after one year it starts to get better. Meanwhile I have lost my job and my life has been extremely effected. I lost my job. My relationships have been effected, my whole life has changed. After 2 years of researching I have finally found my own diagnosis of Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) and have officially been diagnosed by my neurologist.I am just so disappointed as people with this disorder have a much better chance of recovering when they face it early on in the diagnosis. He really let me down on this one. He didn't send me to Physical Therapy for the dizziness or anything.I'm not saying he isn't a nice guy or a good doctor for others. All I can tell you is my experience.
Jacob Elizalde: Scheduled appointment at 2:30. Arrived at 2:00 as I was told to just to have to sit & wait till 3:30 & still NOT BE SEEN. Watched 3 ppl arrive after me & be seen & called back as I still sat in the waiting room. Definitely needs to be a better schedule system then to have someone wait hour & half & still not be even called to the back.
renee horne: This place is awesome, great staff and nice doctor. Very thorough in finding out about your allergies and how to help you.
Diana Weaver: Very wonderful and polite staff. Dr. is kind and listens. Highly recommend.
Teraesa Herban: Staff is awesome!!
Jeff Nunham II: Robin and the team have done a terrific job helping my great uncle with his hearing loss and working with the federal workers comp department. They have gone above and beyond every step of the way and that is not common now days! These people get it and they truly care!! We are blessed to have met them!!!
Sally HHarrison: Nice people, good Dr, long time waiting
Karen Shepard: Very friendly and there is usually short wait for reappointment
Chuck Barratt: Helpful got in without app
David Brown: Favorite allergist.
Yvonne Maus: Excellent place for hearing aids. Katie really nice.
David Barncard: Great
PRose 66: I have had a great experience!!!!! and would recommend Dr Gilroy to my friends and family!!
Antoinette Frazho: At the first appointment, waited over an hour to be called back, then another 45 minutes to see the doctor. Told to come back in a week. When we returned, waited 30 minutes to be seen (even though the waiting room was empty when we arrived). Told to return in a week, again! Staff is not friendly or accommodating, only had a single appointment available the following week. Clearly they don't value their patient's time.
AJ W: This doctor is never on time, always a hour or more behind. Unorganized staff, horrible wait times, not worth the bother.
Suellen Spicknell: They know what they are doing!Timely, friendly and just the best .Been going for years now, they keep me feeling good.
Joshua Burns: Dr. Gilroy was an absolute pleasure, and helped me work through a very severe ear infection.
Teri Hackworth: Dr. Gilroy was extremely compassionate, intelligent, and thorough. He took the time to explain everything. I couldn't have been more pleased.
