Hope Baker: Absolutely a terrible place to send your kids. My 3 year old said the teacher was being mean. They kicked him out after 2 weeks. He has never had a problem ever. They have no idea when teachers test positive for covid. They don't care about anything besides a check. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!

Dustyn Coontz: I've had the chance to put my daughter in three excellent daycares. Scribbles and Giggles is the best yet. It's sometimes scary being a parent, but they have excellent security measures in place to keep the kids safe. It's also worrisome to think that your kid will not get enough energy or creativity out (leaving you to pay the price after a long day of work), but there is so much intellectual, creative, and physical stimulation for the kids. These are crazy times where divisiveness is around every corner, surrounding every issue, but my white daughter gets to spend time with people who don't look like her and gets to understand just from being around children of other ethnicities that diversity is an incredible thing. It's tough sending your child off to learn from other people when you don't know those other people or what will be taught, but my kiddo has only seemed to have ever picked up one bad habit from S&G––she came home saying "Go Green!" We were able to correct course and she now sings "Hail to the Victors" and says "Go Blue," so crisis averted. Other than that, she's only ever brought good things home (including telling mom and dad not to use "potty words"). My overall point: Scribbles & Giggles is great. Whatever legitimate concerns you have as a parent, the people at S&G should be able to assuage them. If you're thinking about what daycare in Lansing, MI is right for you, look more into Scribbles & Giggles. I'll wager you'll love it.

Cassandra Rose: My son is going on two and has been attending Smurfs Time since he was 13 months old. Asmaa and her family take the best care of him. They have celebrated milestones right along side of us and genuinely care about the wellbeing of each child. I cant say enough positive things about this daycare, the learning style curriculum has continuously put him ahead of other kids his age and its fun activities at the same time being educational. Theres so many things for the kids to do in the outdoor play area as well as the newly updated play room. Highly recommend your child(ren) to attend!

Ms. Rene: Mrs. Taylor is a parent's dream. She truly cares for each little dreamer and has handpicked a staff/team that shares her vision and values. It's so exciting to see all the new ideas implemented to make the experience of the "little dreamers" enriching and life changing. What won me over was the healthy meals and gardening activities provided to the little dreamers! Little Dreamers Daycare is truly a strong foundation in the community!
Jessica Wills: Little Dreamers is by far the best childcare center in the city of Lansing. My daughter is so well cared for in the Preschool classroom, and she loves coming to school every day! The staff are professional, loving and go above and beyond for the care of my child. Highly recommend.
Raquel Pryor: I have known Jackie (the owner) for over 10 years and initially met her professionally. My oldest has attended her daycare since he was 2.5 (2018) and my youngest since he was 4 months old. I never once worried about the care and attention provided by her care. Jackie exemplifies great communication skills, patience with the children, creative indoor & outdoor activities, learning initiatives appropriate for their age and healthy food options. Finding someone that cares for my children the way they do has given me so much peace of mind. My children absolutely love and adore her and the other workers. I highly recommend her services and have referred her personally on many occasions.

The growth I've seen in him over these three years has been great. They really take there time to cater to your kids needs and really cares about the development of your child. Ellen Heinitz: I moved my almost 3 year old to Little Dreamers last year and I wish I had done it sooner, because he has blossomed there! Mrs. Jackie genuinely cares for all her "Little Dreamers" and the kids just adore her and everyone there. Now at almost 4 my son can't wait to get to daycare each day. He loves the meals they feed the kids, and loves playing out in the large fenced in back yard. Mrs. Loni and Mrs. Alicia make each day fun for the kids, and all of the staff has been very professional and cautious about Covid protocol.

Joshua Fish: Very unprofessional. They fail to follow their own written policies and penalize the parents for it. They are very discriminatory as to which children they want to work with, if they don’t like your kid they will just force you out and not try to even work with them. Made me lose several days pay due to their own negligence. Center staff (Minerva?) yelled at me on the phone in front of the children to cut me off while I was trying to explain she was incorrect about what their policy statement was. Called corporate and was told I was right and would get an apology, never happened and now they just ignore my calls. Avoid at all costs.
Madison Stuhlreyer: My daughter has been going to Happy Elephant since she was 8 weeks old. We could not be more grateful for how well taken care of she is by Ms. Linda and Ms. Rosamond. I work at the hospital so my hours change week to week. It’s so helpful being able to adjust her daycare schedule on a weekly basis to what we need for that week. I love only paying for what we need. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience.

Every time I brought my kid back after being sick and I called them to let them know he would be back the Friday before the next week and he was never on schedule causing me to stress out on what I would need to do in the morning running late for my job. There’s a teacher there that is completely judgmental and talks to you like you’re stupid. This place has caused too many incidents in which I have lost a lot of work time, leaving me to lose out on money I need to provide for my child. I’m lucky I haven’t lost my job due to this. Other wise what’s the point of day care.

Victoria Love: My daughter has been going here since she was about 3 months. Her and I both love her teacher Ms. Rosamond. I’m also a “young pre k” teacher at happy elephant & I love and treat each and every one of my kids the same! I love coming to work everyday with new activities and crafts for them to do. Working here I’ve learned a lot about each individual kid and I’ve also been able to work with some autistic children that has gave me more learning experience and know what to do with kids that need that special one on one treatment. Bring your child to Happy Elephant Daycare on Aurelius, we have a lot of fun and they learn something new everyday and make a lot of new friends!
Rachael Tomasic: Reading some reviews here I do not think that some of them give an accurate reflection of the services. First of all, its a cheap day care...no its not going to be perfect and the staff does the best they can with what they have. I have never had a bad encounter with any of the staff here. The child I have going here is happy, well fed, and frankly that's what the purpose of this establishment is. I get things aren't always going to be perfect...from experience ( I have three children total) sometimes you get a lot less but pay a lot more
Antoinett Scott: From a teacher at this place to bringing my own child here while working here. I would NOT recommend this so called day care to any parent that actually cares about their child well being. They have special needs teachers that can’t control their own disability. The staff has no compassion to children who can’t fiend for themselves and need extra help to do the basics as children. The director is completely unprofessional. Please do not tell your business to her because the whole staff and other parents will know(as a teacher there I’ve personally heard her talk about parents and their children to me and other parents) overall an horrible experience. It sucks that this the only place that opens at 530am and does hourly payments. But it’s definitely not worth the headaches I’ve witnessed

The teachers and staff couldn't be more professional or sweeter to the kids, and the office staff have all been very helpful, informative and friendly to me. All three of the kids look forward to going here every morning - never any whining or moaning when I say it's time to go see the Happy Elephant!

Dori Stehle: My child has been attending for almost a year now I have to say this is one of the best places I've ever taking her. The staff treats her as if she was there own child. The one or two times that she's ever gotten injured playing I have always received paperwork right away about it. There is always someone in the office to greet me when I walk in.
Kendra Bishop: My child was potty training and went from zero accidents a day to 3 or 4 accidents a day while at day care but still had none while at home. He has been getting sent home from day care everyday for the last 2 weeks because ive been tols he has been hitting, punching, pinchijng, and biting. My son has not been biting for at least 6 months to a year now.I would only recommend this place if your child is perfect and self sufficient. At least until they get the staffing issue fixed.

Alfonso Thompson: This place is very unfit and unprofessional! My child is in the toddler room. I walk in and see some todds have on no socks walking on the mopped floor. There was a little girl in just a shirt and pull-up walking around. I had just took a pack of diapers and was told they couldn’t find them. They loose my child’s pacifier daily. My child always has to change clothes cause there’s a food incident every week. I seen a caregiver get frustrated with changing a todds diaper. She got him up from the changing table and said “you know what?! Just go play” put him down and gave him a little shove. This is just a job for a lot of those “caregivers” they do not passionately care for these babies or kids. I shouldn’t have to go to work and be very concerned or worried for my child and the other children that are at this daycare. Very concerned and frustrated mother!!!
Rebecca McMahon: It's...okay. They're the only place open early enough for me to get to work @ 6am. And, on my way there. They don't keep up on co-pay amounts due very well. And, make sure my child doesn't come home covered in wet sand or in wet clothes from playing outside.
