Gwenavre Chaffee: Well stocked, very friendly, occasionally snippety but if I had to deal with MSU students all day every day I'd be occasionally snippety too. I do, however, always feel respected and well taken care of.
Molly Bancroft: Location is super convenient and they're usually well-stocked. Minus is the CVS pricing , which is terrible, but if you have the Extra Care card you can score some good deals now and then. Plus is they have a little lottery machine for scratch offs! Pharmacy has been solid for shots and prescription pick-ups.
Kait: Don't try calling for anything unless you've got over an hour to kill while being left on hold.
Katie: Tried to get an appointment online for Covid Booster. Was told to sign in when I was at CVS. Apparently they “don’t have any appointments at a CVS near me”. It’s what I was told online. What’s the deal….I never even put a date in and CVS is 4 blocks from my house?
Mar Sakr: Abysmal customer service from the Pharmacy. I showed up in the drive-thru window 12 minutes from closing time trying to get a subscription filled for painkillers after waiting 20 hours at Sparrow to get my appendix removed. I know showing up 12 minutes from time is not ideal but I can't control when I'm discharged from the hospital following that type of operation. The lady at the drive-thru(white with short brown hair) claimed she would be unable to fill my subscription since "they were closing soon". When I mentioned that I just gone through surgery, she says "Well the prescription safe has a 15 minute timer on it and we are 12 minutes away from closing". So this pharmacist, knowing I went through an invasive surgery and was going through pain, willingly decided to reject my prescription because she wanted to leave 5 minutes earlier. This isn't the type of culture this pharmacy has cultivated in the past 4 years I've been using it, so I'm still shocked at how a pharmacist can be so inconsiderate of the pain a patient is going through, especially when they work in the medical field.

Maranda Morris: I had some trouble last night getting an emergency prescription filled (my usual pharmacy was closed already, and then when I got to CVS I found out the company doesn't take my insurance), and the young man and woman who were working the pharmacy that night were extremely helpful. They aided me in transferring the prescription over to another pharmacy that was still open and does take my insurance, and they were very polite and helpful through the whole process while I know I was a mess. Thank you!
grayson: Terrible, I have spent 100s of dollars here to please a friend by watching self checkouts, i was on FaceTime with the friend and was told no recording? Lol i wasn't even videotaping, he had such and attitude and followed me around shopping, lost my business
Carol Green: I've been coming to this pharmacy for years now. Up until this point, I had minimal issues. They ran out of my medication over a week ago now, and every time I call to check (since the app is inaccurate), when I finally get through to someone they are incredibly rude. While trying to explain the situation, I was responded to with "Well if you would let me talk", even though I was trying to provide relevant information. Whoever is answering the phones is very snippy and rude, when I am simply trying to make sure I get a medication I had to go cold turkey of for a whole week due to CVS's mismanagement. This has been a truly awful experience for me, and I may have to consider changing pharmacies.Edit: Apparently there was a manufacturing error, so not so much blame should be put on the pharmacy. However, I do think the communication on their end could have been handled much better, as being aware of the manufacturing error right away would have given me more time to find another pharmacy and resolve my issue.
William Dowell: You get rid of parking lots and make a parking structure that requires customers to pay just to park. I refuse to buy into this scam. Appalling...

Then I got there, and was only to be told that I have to be in a vehicle to get tested. THANKS FOR THE ACCURATE INFORMATION!

Ryan Triolet: Terrible experience here this weekend. I purchased an umbrella at self checkout and left the store. The shift manager chased me out of the store and accused me of stealing the umbrella. She made me follow her back into the store until other customers told her she was wrong. She never even bothered to ask for a receipt. Absolutely humiliating experience. I recommend any young people in EL to avoid this place unless you want to be embarrassed and scammed into paying twice.

amber finner: Took my 2 year old to get vaccinated. Everyone was very nice, especially the lady that checked us in and the lady who was playing with the kids. A lady was going around with a bubble gun to distract and cheer up kids. My daughter loves bubbles so that was nice. She didn't fuss or anything with her shot and was only upset when it was time to leave the bubbles. Lol The nice bubble lady gave my daughter a ball which instantly cheered her up and she happily walked with me outside. I loved how easy they made everything. There wasn't even really a wait. They were great.Also, WIC people are amazing. I've been on WIC for 3 years for my daughter and I've never had a bad experience with anyone from WIC. They've all been truly the kindest people. Their hard work and kindness is extremely appreciated. 💜

Lekendra Cannon: Not bad, but I’m trying to get a signed shot record and I’ve been given the runaround. I’ve tried the patient portal, and when I call I am given the wrong information. I used the email and specifically asked for a signed record, but I was sent a record with no signature which was summarily rejected by the entity that I needed it for. I can understand that things are strained during COVID, but I’d rather just be told that they can’t or won’t do it as opposed to having to reach out to them multiple times and wasting so much time. If you want me gone, then cut it short. I don’t get it.

Charman Todd: My daughter received a call from the health department and went. The doctors said she needed a procedure done with no numbing medicine or anything. Then when she told me what they did I was very upset and the procedure should have been done it the operating room and she should have been sleep. I am putting in a complaint with the attorney General office yes she is a adult 32 years old but she didn't know!!! Yes I am very very upset!

Casey C: Went here to get some blood work done. I was informed verbally and physically on paperwork that they would work with my HDHP and offer me a heavily discounted $30 one time charge (discount to help those with HDHP). I paid that and went on my way. Now it’s 7 months later and I’m being called from a debt collector saying I owe $200. Come to find out, Sparrow Labs is also billing me for this service. ICHC realistically provided me no service as I find out it was Sparrow labs doing the blood work. Sparrow somehow had my old contact information from 10 years ago and was unable to reach me, hence the debt collector.After all of this, I had to keep calling Sparrow and ICHC back and fourth of the other blaming the other and neither would help me. This is causing such a headache that I’m just going to pay the damn $200 and will never be returning.
Robin Ann: i went there for an immunization shot and told them i would be self pay. They looked disgusted and barely wanted to answer my questions. In fact, after the shot i found out it was a generic similar to the one i was expecting but that it did not cover certain aliments of the original. It is best to think of every last thing out of the blue that could be a question because you can't count on the staff to inform you. This isn't just seen at this health department though unfortunately.

Tayanni Terry: I was going for my prenatal care there. Keep telling the doc that something wasn't right with me. So instead of running all test they said oh your fine. After 3-4weeks and telling the same doc this. I had a appointment with sparrow said something to that doc she looked at my file come to find out I have gestational diabetes. Only one doc at Ingham county health wanted to say that. Others said it was fine. Well I take insulin shots 4tmes a day along with other meds. Thanks to sparrow my baby will be born at a healthy weight now. All cause they listened to me. I will not ever recommend anyone to this clinic. They don't listen to they patients.
