Dr. Sara B. Dupuis, PhD, LP, LMFT: what do users think?
Bruce Babcock: We are so thankful for Dr. Sara. She really helped us to connect, “attune”, and relate on a much deeper level. She provided us with so many tools and resources. She really knows how to work with couples, and is quite knowledgeable and practical in her approach. I highly recommend.
Shawn Johnson: Dr. Sara is a kind, well-trained, gifted therapist and researcher. I have known Dr. Sara as a fellow MFT and colleague over many years. I would highly recommend her for you, and your partner or family --If she has openings!
Jaimi Nedziwe: My husband and I begin seeing Dr. Dupuis about 9 years ago and she helped us through several rough patches. We love that she is neutral and she always gives excellent advice. She has given us several suggestions on things to try in our marriage and they are simple and effective. With the help of Dr. Dupuis we are still going strong, 17.5 years later! I would recommend her to anyone.
Dana Costello: My (now) husband, Mike, and I started counseling with Dr. Sara Dupuis a little over a year ago. When we met Sara for the first time, Mike and I both knew how much we were in love with each other. We knew our plan was to get married and live a happy and fulfilled life together. That said, we were also working through terrible places with our recent divorces, public scrutiny of our choices, dealing with our ex-spouses, and navigating combining our families. At times, we both felt helpless and lost. I can say with sincerity, Sara was a big part of us reaching the happiness we have as a couple today. This past year was a roller coaster of emotions and, with Sara’s help, we were able to use the tools she gave us to continue to push forward. With her knowledge, expertise, guidance and compassion, Sara knew how to help us. We felt stronger in our partnership together after each session we had with her. She helped us focus on the important issues through a rational lens, one that Mike and I had a hard time looking through at times. Now, a year later, Mike and I are married, happy, and excited about our future together. We both highly recommend Dr. Sara Dupuis. She is such a gift and we are thankful to have her be part of our journey.
Kate Wachowski: Sara is a thorough, insightful, and knowledgeable clinician.
Kersten Kimmerly: Dr Dupuis is an absolute go to in this community for excellent care whether for individual, couple or family work. As a practitioner, i refer to her frequently and enjoy collaborating with her for the very best patient outcomes. She is caring and wise and she is devoted to her work . Highly recommend.
michelle leyko: Dr. Dupuis is professional, kind and goes the extra mile for her clients.
Aimee Kauffman: Dr. Dupuis is professional, kind, caring and very knowledgeable about a variety of current therapies. Sara creates a warm and inviting atmosphere which allows individuals to feel comfortable discussing painful and difficult topics and treates these issues with excellent skill.
Sarah Bohne: Dr. Sara has helped me navigate many family and live factors including divorce, death, and blended family. She gives homework and tools to face the situations, learn from them and grow. I highly recommend her.
白君德: Great therapy options and counseling help here. Nice location too. Parking in the back.
Yangfan Liu: Sara is knowledgeable, sympathetic, and objective. She has a great balance between being professional and caring as a person. I am very comfortable talking to her, while getting useful suggestions. With her PhD training, she especially knows the life of highly educated people, can follow their logic and help them.

Lansing Counseling: what do users think?
Lukas Herrmann: I could not recommend a place less. Especially if you are going to be seeing Chanon. I have never had a counselor get hostile towards me, until today. During my recent session I was opening up to him about something personal I've been dealing with over the last few months and was telling him this was the reason I wanted to get back into therapy. After telling him about it I left it off by saying that I don't think there's anything he can do to change my mind on how I view the situation I'm in. A good counselor would have asked why I felt that way or some other question to maybe understand my situation a bit more. But Chanon immediately became accusatory and acted as if that statement was targeted towards his own ability as a counselor and not just me stating how I felt the situation has come to. He seriously accused me of trying to start an argument with him. His tone and behavior became hostile and he asked why I would even go to therapy if I'm not going to listen to what he has to say. But isn't that the whole point of seeing a counselor? Because you feel like there's nothing else that you can do to fix the situation you're in? So you go to a professional who might be able to help you find an answer? I don't think there was a worse way he could have handled this situation. Why would any therapist immediately assume and insight that their patient is trying to start an argument with them? Why would a counselor assume that in general? Especially when it's about something they feel personally. Isn't the whole point of going to therapy is to feel like you won't be judged no matter how you're feeling or what you say? Because I sure felt like I was being judged for the things I said.
austin Sweeney: Travis is one of the best therapists and he is very chill and amazing.
Ollie Whitmore: Been coming here for a few months and meeting with Travis and one been living a much happier life and able to process everything so much better.
Rogerray Rogerray: I highly recommend Lansing Counseling! They are incredibly knowledgeable and have a great group of therapists.
Roger Frye: Lansing Counseling is the best! I highly recommend them for any type of situation that you might be going through. Their therapists are high sly skilled and resourceful.
Joey Pepper: Beyond helpful
Ben Pepper: This place is amazing. Professional & empathetic. They changed my life.
Mitchell Theut: I’ve been going to Lansing counseling for awhile now and Travis is an amazing therapist who has assisted me in coping with my anxiety and depression. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking to improve their mental health.
Kloccwork Ink: My counselor is very knowledgeable and has helped me through some hard times. She understands my relationship and is working with us to strengthen it.
Mark Otsuji: Thank you for the help!
Alicia: Travis has been a tremendous help in dealing with my anxiety. He’s given me great tips to get my anxiety in control.
Travis Kapp: Highly recommend this practice for counseling services. The therapists and staff are all amazing and responsive.
Robin McGrath: My counselor missed an appointment, nothing happened. Then I miss one and was charged $146. I also felt rushed out of every appointment I took part of. I would strongly advise avoiding this counseling group.
Slayer Reviews: Alright first time there was for a couples therapy granted it wouldn’t of worked out anyways but I found it odd that the dr was willing to pass me off to the other counselor there even tho I authorized her to discuss me with the one she referred me to she didn’t bring up anything.Went to 3 appointments with Travis kept telling me the same thing nothing new, in one of the appointments I give him my preferred email confirms he has it. Doesn’t send it there. Charges me 54.99 for missing it says he’s not in charge he will talk to the supervisor (never got back to me on that) I brought up I was diagnosed with BPD at our first appointment but on the last one he states we would work on it next appointment which he canceled 48min before.Tried to set up an appointment again just cause I’m desperate for help but what I got from his text is I’ve been erased from the records so now we gotta start over again. The few reviews on here look like shill accounts, and also the counselors aren’t straight up licensed psychologist either. Good luck to you and I hope you find the help we’re all looking for.
Robb Kornoelje: As a fellow Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan, I would highly recommend this organization.

Atlas Psychology | Amy Nasamran, PhD: what do users think?
Casey Calloway: Dr. Amy is amazing! She’s warm and gentle, my husband and I agreed our daughter warmed up to her faster than anyone we’ve seen. Our daughter is extremely strong willed, and Dr. Amy taught us so much about our child’s development and how to manage her behavior in a way that’s loving and fair. Her behavior is much more manageable and we’re happier as a family as a result.
Paige Ackerman: Dr. Amy is by far the best therapist I have ever worked with! She is extremely welcoming and offers a safe space for clients to express themselves however they wish to. She helped me through so much and I genuinely wish everyone can experience her as their therapist. If anyone is hesitant about starting therapy, or feeling like there are so many options they don't know who to go with, Dr. Amy is the without a doubt the best therapist someone can ask for. I cannot say enough good things about her!
Stefanie Hoppes: Don’t bother. You will never get a returned phone call.
Stephanie Gardner-Wright: Dr. Amy is a wealth of knowledge about child behavior and breaks down complex psychological concepts into easily digestible, applicable-to-real-life information. It's been my privilege to call Dr. Amy a colleague and I'd highly recommend her to any parent or caregiver for parent coaching or PCIT therapy.

Therapy Today Counseling and Consulting: what do users think?
Kalli Halpern: My intake appointment was handled very well.Everything was clear and helpful.I was happy to be scheduled quickly.I imagined it would take longer-because of medicare.
Rose Lech: I've been trying to find a right fit of a therapist through here since I was 16. I am now 20 and I still have yet to find someone suitable. I don't know if thats on me, or on them, but I can't deny the fact every time I try therapy again im left regretting using this office. At one point, I had been seeing a therapist regularly here, then one day I go in for my appointment only to be told that 1, my therapist canceled on me, 2, nobody contacted me about it, and then 3, the icing on the top was that my therapist also left the practice. So since then I've been trying to find yet another therapist and to no avail. I also have asked the front desk multiple times to contact me first when it comes to my appointmens, and yet my mother always seems to get contacted first even when I've given them my information. I will say most everyone I've interacted with has been very kind, but the level of care doesn't seem to match all the time.
Chaunie Brusie: I've had such a positive experience working with Therapy Today and my therapist, Chloe, has been so incredibly helpful, even after just a few sessions. I have tried therapy in the past and it was honestly a bit traumatic--so seeing how it can actually help has been such a relief. The whole process getting started has been straightforward, accessible, and comfortable and has been a tremendous tool to me as I've dealt with some anxiety that was too much to manage on my own. I highly recommend this practice, especially for anyone who is nervous to try therapy, they make the entire process of getting started very easy and help you feel safe along the way.
Sarah Thornton: Dedicated. Knowledgeable. So Patient.
Joshua Allison: Honestly this was an incredibly disappointing and exhausting experience dealing with this office, especially for someone who was trying to get counseling for the first time in their life. I reached out after years of indecision in hopes of bettering myself and acknowledging I was ready to seek help, and was astounded by a quick response time by their intake person! After a few brief questions, they said they helped me find a member of their staff that was both specialized in what I wanted help for, and would match with my insurance. This is where things began going downhill. To not make this the longest google review ever, I called my insurance to confirm that this individual would be covered, and my insurance told me that she was in fact NOT in network. Okay. I called back Therapy Today to cancel, and was told that they didn't book appointments if they weren't in network. Everything would be fine -- They couldn't tell me the exact amount of the co-pay, but could confirm I would have no issues billing to my insurance.Fast forward, I had my initial appointment with my counselor. She was kind, polite -- I have nothing negative to say about her or her services. We set up follow up appointments for the next month. I saw a claim was submitted to my insurance.Fast forward to the 2nd appointment (keeping in mind it says in your initial paperwork that all balances must be paid in full prior to your next appointment) Same deal, everything goes well, anticipate the next appointment, etc. Check my insurance claims again the same week -- The initial appointment was not covered at all by my insurance. A new claim has been submitted also. No mention of this from office staff. I call their office to see if I can figure things out -- I'm told by front desk staff "Well we can't tell you how much is covered by your insurance -- Maybe they'll accept the 2nd appointment but not the initial assessment."Of course they didn't. Both claims were denied by my insurance. I had to cancel all future appointments with my counselor. No further word from Therapy Today staff. I emailed their billing team for assistance -- No reply. I didn't actually hear anything from their office until they mailed me a bill and a letter terminating our client/patient relationship.Basically it seems to me this office will do anything to get you signed up, but will not support you beyond that. I had no word of my denied claim. I had no word of the nearly 200$ charge for my first appointment going into my 2nd -- So instead of having ONE bill to pay, they let me go into a 2nd appointment without any insurance payments applying. Never replied to my correspondence after intake. Never communicated proactively whatsoever about what was going on. I felt incredibly disregarded, left to the wolves, and disrespected by the entire interaction. This certainly was not a good introduction to counseling and I wouldn't recommend the experience I had to go through with for this to anybody.
Pete Jones: intake was rude find another place
Emily Dojka: Wonderful people! I highly recommend Therapy Today for anyone looking for various alternatives of therapy/counseling.Updated!!! (Edited Version). Was a five star review.I keep getting assigned to different people. In just a few months, my therapist was GONE.How can I build trust with my therapist! Isn't that the point. I could do a better job at consistency of care. Not cool to be passed around. I'm still with the same people (Therapy Today), I don't like change, and I've just lost another therapist. Is it me? No! . imagine what others feel.
Chris H: Never got a full hour, always was rescheduled on, eventually was dropped entirely. Just another Michigan joke who couldn’t cut it during this idiotic “pandemic,” but let’s be honest: my complaints happened before the “pandemic” too.
Kat Lim: Therapy was ok, but the practice did not once call me to check in or about my outstanding balance before sending my information to a collections agency. Seems like they care more about money than clients.
Michael Schmidt: Pretty disappointing experience to say the least. Had to call last week to reschedule my therapy appointment to an appointment over video call. Staff member told me that I couldn’t change my current appointment, but she could just cancel that appointment and make a new one to replace it. Easy enough! So we do that and I’m all set for my newly scheduled appointment. Later that day I got a call from the same staff member informing me I still had the original scheduled therapy appointment (that she told me she was canceling in the first place) and that I needed to call them back soon to fix it... Very confusing since the staff member told me I couldn’t change it and she was just going to cancel it... Anyways, had my therapy appointment and it went just fine. Now the day before my next session I get a call & voicemail informing me that the online document I signed and completed was not showing up on my file and that I have to enter my information again... I think I’m just going to seek therapy services from another office. Everything with Therapy Today has been made more difficult than it ever needed to be and it’s due to their own disorganization and lack of attention to detail in the scheduling and online interfacing. Hope they fix that soon.
Angela Joseph: I have nothing but great things to say about Therapy Today! The owner, Leslie, truly cares and has created a beautiful environment for her therapists and the clients that come through her doors. Leslie is passionate about therapy being available for everyone when they need it and has created a space which allows you to be seen the day you call and I am not aware of any office that offers such service. The staff and therapists are always happy to help and ready to serve. Therapy Today is continuing to grow and I would suggest you take bad reviews with a grain of salt. It’s often people write reviews when upset. Make your own decision and contact Therapy Today if you’re ready to experience a truly warm and inviting welcome to therapy. I can’t count the amount of people that I know that have nothing but gratitude for their experiences here.
Yessenia Rico: The staff never informed me my insurance would not cover all the costs and I had to pay out of pocket which put a toll on my finances. I wish they would have told me in advance and had been more transparent. When I called about the situation I didn't hear back until two days after and they weren't very helpful. Will definitely not be returning.
Jarek Lalain: Went here for a few months. Definitely wouldn't go back. It was my first time trying therapy so didn't know if they were all like this. They don't care and don't give you the full hour you pay for, maybe 45 minutes. Have now tried a few other therapists and this was by far the worst.
Robert Dickinson: Edit: after having been in therapy for 6 months with Grace Franken at Empower Therapy Solutions, I can really say that Kato was even worse than I thought, when compared to how incredible good therapy actually is. Don't go here. Go to Empower.Kato Rundle is a therapist there, who worked with me for 3 months. I was leaving an abusive relationship and struggling with grief and wanting to grow. Kato didn't seem to really pay attention to what I was saying, didn't remember what I'd said from past sessions, didn't seem to care at all about me or helping me (professional detachment is fine, but I would like to feel like they genuinely want me to succeed), was never prepared for a session, kept our hour sessions down to as close to 50 minutes as possible, consistently made promises about "next week we'll focus on _____" or "so let's do some education next week!" without ever following through, canceled a session with 3 hours notice and no reimbursement for my inconvenience (if I did the same, I'd be charged $150 for their inconvenience), and at our last session kicked me out 40 minutes early after saying she didn't want to waste anyone's time.I think Therapy Today should really reconsider their professional relationship with Ms. Rundle. I don't necessarily plan to leave their office, as their intake coordinator wants to work with me to find someone else, but at least I won't have a hard time finding a better therapist than Kato.TLDR: Therapy Today is a 2 star office, but Kato Rundle is a 0 star therapist
Chris Horak: They cancelled 2 sessions. Didn’t find out each time until we drove 25 minutes to get there. Very unprofessional group. I would never go back.
Carrie Austin: If there was an option for no stars - they would get it!!! This is the worst therapist session I’ve ever been in - went with my child to have a better relationship and therapist immediately stated how horrible of a parent I was and told my child that he was being abused by me. Told my child that I wasn’t doing my job as a parent and all I did was “deflect” his questioning of me as a parent. I was there to build a relationship with my son not to be criticized and humiliated by a hippie therapist telling my child everything I ever did was wrong in his life and to disrespect me more than he already does!! Started asking me if I respect him and his therapy choices - my time isn’t about me respecting him or his therapy- it’s about trying to build a relationship with my son that was crippled by a narcissist ex!!!!!This is the worst place I’ve ever been!!!!
Courtney Lynn: A wonderful place to work! I had to leave recently, due to moving out of the area, but very much enjoyed my time at Therapy Today. The office staff, owner, and all the the therapists I got to know were such a joy to work with. I would recommend this practice to any therapists looking for somewhere awesome to work, and will continue to refer clients living near there to the many skilled therapists that work there :).
Mandy Tyler: Whoever’s in charge does a good job at scaring therapists away. I stopped seeing my therapist because my session allowance with my insurance had been reached. When I went back, my therapist had left. I asked around about other therapists in the office from the friend who recommended the place and they had actually left to follow their therapist as well.
Kara B: Office ladies are the only reason they get any star at all. Everything else sucks. I’ve seen three different therapists there. First one didn’t have a compatible approach for me, second one was a lot better and we had 2-3 good sessions then told me she wanted to see me every week and next day I get a call from intake coordinator that she will be gone for an indefinite amount of time, third therapist is probably the worst. She’s constantly checking the time not even sure if she’s really listening. She always has us start late then ends it 10 minutes early sometimes even earlier. She doesn’t even pretend to genuinely care. Lots of long awkward moments of silence. Hopefully the fourth will be someone reliable and genuine.
Hannah Cooperider: The therapist I had always cut me off and talked about their problems more than mine. They told me they accepted my insurance and then waited 4 SESSIONS to tell me they actually didn’t and made me pay a HUGE bill with no apology, along with them making it seem like it had been MY fault. NOT impressed and immediately stopped my sessions.
Deana Lawrence: Great therapists.

Lansing Psychological Associates: what do users think?
Josie Yatskiv: I worked here in the past and the staff is inclusive and wonderful. Would recommend to anyone that is seeking help or employment.
Dennis Martin: I saw Mary Schuring for 4 years even though she was very difficult. She wasn't interested in what you needed to workin. But what she wanted to work in even what she wanted to work in even if you were in depression. Then she left after 4years so she said but I think she just wanted to quit seeing me. She still hasher picture and profile on this site aftershe was supposed to of been gone 8months now. She blackmailed me before She left so I couldn't find another of one of the other 20 therapists there. So if Mary Shuring is still working thereI wouldn't see her!
Tommaso Randazzo: Dr. Harris has been extremely helpful over these past few months, and I'm very thankful to have him to help me through this time. My experiences have only been online and over the phone due to COVID, but I've been very happy with my experience. Holly who answers the phone is extremely kind and to-the-point, which I appreciate. I would recommend Lansing Psych to anyone in the area!
R. S.: My son is in crisis, and he had a zoom appointment. She didn't just keep him waiting, she COMPLETELY GHOSTED him. Not a single phone call or follow up. As far as I'm concerned, that's patient abandonment and she should be sued. Only after several phone calls did she FINALLY call to reschedule but he's already lost trust in her and we've gone elsewhere.
Nancy Downey: I've been lucky to find a good psychiatrist, and a nice Office.
Pamela Saunders: I would have to disagree with the recent posts with respect to the East Lansing office. Wendy Nicholson is a very caring therapist, and I would highly recommend her for therapy needs. As well, the front desk team has always been helpful and accommodating. Not once were politics discussed at any of my sessions with Wendy since I first met her in 2012. Wendy is such an amazing therapist that I have referred her to others who have also found her valuable. Keep up the good work; it is appreciated by me.
April Draher: Bought and paid for by my ex's lawyer. Dishonest and not an effective therapist.
Marja Jones: These "professionals" will randomly go off and make you pay to listen to about their own political views for most of your session. Very unprofessional, chose a different place if you want people to actually help you.
Janet Miller: The receptionist was rude claiming the I was a no show for an appointment, which was totally untrue. Considering these are help professionals, the attitude demonstrated lacked empathy. I was struggling with some major issues and did not need to hear her negative comments. Would not recommend this agency to anyone.
Sarah kosloski: Horrible, rude, and unprofessional Intake specliast! The Manager was just as bad, or not worse! They lost a Customer and many more since I work for a Large Medical group and I will be telling them about my experience! Bye bye referrals!!
Carrie Budd: Dr. Cannizzaro is absolutely amazing. He's very good at what he does and really genuinely cares about his clients. I highly recommend.
olivia moses: worst place ever. Unorganized. I watched a woman write an appointment a month ahead of time after a therapist session to see the office psychiatrist. I still have the card, I called three days ahead of time to double check my appointment and they had no records of me having an appointment and wanted me to get in a month after the card said. Let alone, they had NO recording of the time card I had. INCOMPETENT! They acted like it was my fault that I had a card written with the designated time, I proceeded to tell them it was their mistake and they continued to argue with me! Rude, unfriendly, and poor and uncaring service.
K Chellis: The counselors here are great, front desk does their job well but could be friendlier - I recommend them though only 1 doctor can prescribe, they will work with your current physician.
