Dr. Dominic Barberio, DO: what do users think?
Christine: Encourages communication with an atmosphere that is laid-back, open-minded, non-judgmental, i.e. "safe" and therefore, truly helpful. Evidence based, and completely up-to-date with all of the latest medical interventions. Having an open-minded willingness is highly recommended, which can be frightening for some people in need of psychiatric care. The final word here, is "care." Empowerment can be the first step in getting better, so get yourself to take a chance here. All's good.
Dina Sue Peterson: Wonderful Doctor who actually cares
Angharad LateBloomer (CrueltyFreeMe): I strongly disagree. When I was in the hospital he saved me from the lying staff that tricked me into the ICU when I was not suicidal, I think he is fantastic and he cared for me and I am sorry if you had a bad experience but I have seen him more than once and he has always been caring kind and generous. And believe me I find most psychiatrists in this town to be truly worthless nightmares

Lansing Institute of Behavioral Medicine: what do users think?
Lauren Schott: I love my provider Annemarie so I really tried to stick it out, but I will both be leaving and finding another practice as well as my husband, a patient of 10 years. Ever since Lifestance took over, it’s been absolutely terrible. No returned phone calls, impossible to get a hold of, even in an emergency like running out of medication. They push the “portal” for communication and appointment requests and completely ignore it. Half the time the phone lines don’t even work or haven’t even been set up yet. It shouldn’t be this much work. It’s almost comical how bad it is.
Mary Gillengerten: The support staff is a joke
Emma Haynie: They never return phone calls and they let you run out of medications that are vital. The staff is rude, inconsiderate, and doesn't know how to use technology. The receptionists, nurses, and nurse practitioner are careless. Do not go here.I had to go without medications that I am prescribed to function because PA Margaret Keesler did not know how to send it through electronically with their new system. She said she would look into fixing it and call me back, but she never did. I went through so much suffering because of this.
April Baker: This place is a joke They schedule for a telephone appointment and when you call them because you have been waiting online for 20 minutes and they tell you the Dr they gave you is bad with telephone appointments. Why would you schedule me with that Dr then? And then tell me oh the Dr is 30 minutes behind ok well why would someone not reach out to me and tell me that instead of making me hunt someone down to find out why the Dr has not got on. Sorry but I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
IntuitionsbyNiko: The receptionist/ people to deal w on the phone are not the best. Kind of rude for working at a Psychiatrist office especially. Like any doctors office they make money from prescribing you meds so they will push it maybe more than you need.. I wouldn’t recommend going through them and find something else in the area if possible..
Brandon Bath: This place is terrible. I've been a patient for over a year because I loved my doc, but thankfully he left so I can follow him. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone besides the receptionist who has no ability to get ahold of anyone else in the company apparently. Somehow it takes multiple days to get a note for work, even when promised to have it by the end of the day. The software they use for the e-appointments is terrible. But don't worry - they still charge you for your appointment. Go anywhere else but here.
Austin Ellsworth: Been a patient for 6 years here. Will be following my doctor to another practice due to LIOBM being bought out by some out-of-state mega corporation. Now all communication is automated, even BILLING questions need to be directed to an out-of-state number which nobody answers and leave a message nobody returns. New mandatory paperwork which is very restrictive and patronizing. Trying to get to the right place to begin a video visit is very difficult with their awful website. You have to search through all the providers in MICHIGAN to find your doctor and this is how you are told to access your appointment every single time. This is like walmart or mcdonalds or amazon tried to do mental health care. The office wasn't great to begin with, but now it's hellish.
Emilee Haines: I had a conversation with Sarang Patel yesterday and he turned my day around. I was having such a bad day but his humor had my stomach hurting from laughing so hard. It was a breath of fresh air for me. I wish more providers had that type of humor!
J: I have seen Dr.Meland for 8 years. He's saved my life. The office has always been professional and polite. I've dealt with them for all of this time and they've great.
yvonne hyden: I have been going to the Lansing Institute of Behavioral medicine for many years and I've never had a problem concerning anything. Dr. Picone and his staff are caring and understanding, and are Much appreciated.Yvonne Hyden Wright
Bill Nurenberg: Just want to say thank you so much to Olivia and I'm so sorry I forgot the receptionist name for all the help yesterday.Your job is not easy but the crises we had and the help you gave my daughter by getting her some meds called in thank you so much.I just wish Insurance company could do a better job in helping you guys I feel for you all.But again thank you for all you do not enough credit is given to the people like you that work so hard.
nick schutt: My doctor is fantastic but the nurse practitioner Sam is horrible at returning phone calls and flat out doesn't do her job... your business model is to prescribe medication to patients who have medical issues. So that means you need to make sure they have their refills on time. I call and after 36 hours and multiple voicemails she decides to call and tell me she doesn't care if it's on time or the fact that she had 36 hours to do her job. Instead she wants to debate if i should have it on time and that expecting a call back or the job done is setting the bar too high.....you need a new job because you clearly do not understand the business model or the fact medication is not meant to be taken will nilly. You had plenty of time to do your job and you flat out told me yeah you don't care and that you are not filling it....if my doctor wasn't as good as he is I would never use this place. 36 hours and no call back! If you don't have the staff then hire more people because that's plenty of time. Went medication is meant to be taken daily and you are out then guess what your job is to fill it so they have what the doctor prescribed. I'm very disappointed
Trevor Strzyzykowski: What is going on that the numbers don't work anymore? This is kind of scary. I can't find a way to schedule my appointment--its super frustrating. Kind of important a mental health provider lists a working #. No email? No phone? No online portal? ?? --love my actual provider that I receive care from.
Christina Miller - French: I see Doctor Roy Meland(psychiatrist) & Marilyn mcLain (therapist) both of them are Amazing at what they do.. They've always been respectful, kind and made me feel a 100% comfortable weather be in their office or over a zoom appointment I would highly recommend them both because I truly feel they care about their patients well-being & mental health.
Jessie Boyd: I’ve been going here for about 8(?) years and I love them! I understand how awful it is to try to get patients their medicine when trying to work around insurance etc. so I know it’s sometimes not nearly ideal, but they’ve been very helpful. I see Dr. Mahabir who is an ANGEL and there has been a new (ish) receptionist, I think his name is Lance who is so sweet and nice!
Sheri Conaty: Terrible about getting back with you and the nurse will call not your doctor even if you are having a breakdown they do nothing except tell you to stop your meds and wait for your appointment which is over a week away.
Shawntia Morgan: I've been trying to get medical records for almost two years... And I still don't have them, as a matter of fact one of the receptionist brung up the fact that I filed bankruptcy (like what does that have to do with me needing my medical records), well I guess far as she was concerned (the receptionist), I didn't deserve medical records, because my request never got fulfilled.
C.G. Fitzgibbon: If I could give no stars I would. Please don't put your mental health in the hands of this practice. Your emotional safety is genuinely not a concern of theirs. The office staff and nurses are uncooperative at best and the doctor I had - Angie Stathopoulos - was absolutely unprofessional and unconcerned about patient well being. They let you run out of medication even when you call and contact them repeatedly, no call and no show your appointments (something I have never had a doctor do to me, let alone multiple times), and are defensive to the point of combative if you bring anything to their attention or try to make a complaint. My bringing up the issue of my doctor not respecting my time and letting me run out of meds was met with genuine anger. This professional psychiatrist exchanged harsh words with me before discharging me on the spot when I raised a concern about my treatment.
Alli Turner: I have been a patient at LIOBM for almost a year. I like my doctor, Dr. Lake, but the receptionists and nurses are terrible. Both me and my pharmacies have left many messages to try to get my medications in, but they rarely answer. I’m never able to get ahold of them. I am left having to get emergency pills because they don’t answer in time. I just left a voicemail about 5 minutes ago, trying to get my medication in because I just used up my emergency pills. The wait for a refill of my important pills begins now...
Lori Sue: Friendly staff. Non-judgmental. I highly recommend this place.
Hannah Safferman: The doctors are ok but the receptionists do not do their jobs. I have had them cancel appointments or have not been able to make one when needed. They rarely answer the phone but it’s better to call repeatedly all day until you reach a person because they never respond to voicemails!!! sometimes the mailbox will be completely full. I have run completely out of medication multiple times because I cannot get a hold of anyone in the office to request a refill. even though the doctors are good, it is not worth it and I plan on changing immediately.

Dr. Arlene Z. Roman M.D.: what do users think?
Marsha Wood: I saw Dr. Roman for about two years at another office. Toward the end of her time there she often missed appointments. She left me with no refills of my medications and did not return calls. I gave serious thought to reporting her to Licensing and Regulation, but decided she had probably given up medicine or moved out of state.
Tracy Tyrrell: Has been my doctor for a very long time. Has helped me change my life around.
