Ben Vick: My identity was stolen in May of 2020 and this person filed for unemployment... I found out and contacted my employer and my previous employer and told them to deny because it's fraudulent. They ended up paying the scammer for the entire 26 weeks, I lose my job and they denied me unemployment because they said I wasn't me, even though I provided drivers license and passport. still denied... I've spent hours talking with representatives and more hours on hold, nobody has a solution to my problem and none of them will provide me the actual reason I'm being denied.

Ryler Dustin: Although my unemployment benefits experience was harrowing ("filing errors" held up my benefits for almost 4 months), THE BEST THING I DID was go into this office in person. For weeks I'd waited on hold and spoken with UIA agents, and each time they told me to wait just a little longer. The final time I called, I was told that that actually they could do nothing at all to help me, and essentially just told to go away. NO MENTION OF THIS PHYSICAL BUILDING WAS MADE. I looked it up online, found it, drove there, and was immediately seen and helped by a woman sitting alone in this huge empty building (there wasn't even a line). A week later, she'd fixed the errors and my benefits were coming. IF YOU'RE STRUGGLING TO GET YOUR BENEFITS UNLOCKED, GO HERE!

Phillip Robinson: I'm having the same problem as most. State claims I'm ineligible because I didn't have earnings. If that's the case I want my state income tax money back because I sure as hell had earnings and more than enough to qualify for unemployment. Sent info in to prove that I did and still waiting on a decision after 3 months. Surprised there isn't a class action law suit against the unemployment agency yet. They're wrong fully denying a ton of people who more than qualify for unemployment!

Jose Cruz: This agency's location (and their security service DK Security) will not allow those with mental impairment (those that are not capable of making legal decisions by themselves) to allow a qualified companion and/or next of kin, even when requested by the tax payer him/her/themselves, which could very well be in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In addition, whether online or at location, tax payers' services, guidelines, dates, appointments, Q&A's are simply too confusing, convoluted, unorganized, and/or contradictory especially for those mentally impaired.
