Matt was a few minutes early, very professional and is working up a quote with 2 options to choose from. We were flooded by many roofers coming to our home ,some not invited. Found out some roofing companies were not so great. Then we met Matt (Jimmerson Roofing) he went above and beyond to make us happy. Cant tell you how many months it took us to just give him a roof color, but he still kept giving us places to go to see all the colors. He even brought colors to house. Then drip edge of course it had to be some color that hard to find, but with Matt help that was found to. He then called and just like that are new roof was done in one day! Have met part of their family and they all are amazing!! Since getting a roof is such a big investment to your home ,I wanted to get it out their how amazing this company is ! Dan Long: Hired Jimmerson Roofing to fix a roof leak due to missing flashing around the chimney from the last time the roof was replaced by previous owners. Had to call them again due to water still coming through. They came back out and said they didn't seal a small gap and that's why water was coming through. Water still coming in every time it rained They came out again and said they would check it and let me know if additional repairs we're needed requiring a new quote if necessary. Did not received a new quote leading me to believe they fixed the leak on their 3rd attempt. Water still coming through my roof and the company is unreachable. $750 for nothing.Service:Roof repair

John Beres: I called and left a voicemail describing water entry into my home. All signs pointed to something related to the chimney stack. I was thrilled when I got a hold of Ed... He went out to the home in person the next morning to visually inspect! His suggestion was to rebuild my entire chimney stack... I felt that was a touch aggressive... But he is a roofer and I believed he was giving his own genuine opinion as if it was his home.Fast forward three weeks I discover the issue is a fairly cheap fix... A hole in the rubber membrane that seals the area the chimney meets the roof. Squirrel nibbled on it!I called Ed as I felt I liked him and wanted to give him the chance to fix it...But two weeks went by and he never returned my call, voicemail, or text.It seems many companies lose interest when the fix doesn't bring big dollar signs.
Thomas Clickner: I contacted Sherriff Goslin after discovering roof leaks. Jim came out, assessed the problem, made a recommendation to replace the roof and gave us his estimate. The day the work was scheduled, the crew showed up early, placed tarps around the house and began the tear off. Once the roof was exposed, the damage found supported everything we were told during the initial assessment.The crew completed the tear off (2 layers) and roof replacement in one day. Jim showed up throughout the day and monitored the work quality and progress. The quality of the repairs, roofing installation, length of time to complete the job and cleanup exceeded all expectations. Cody Laramy: Can't recommend Sherriff Goslin enough. I had some leaks from the roof. I called them about 8 in the morning and Ed was able to make it out to my home at 11 o-clock the same day. Ed was able to inspect the roof and found two of my vent boots needed repair and he found a couple of nails that popped up. He had everything he needed for these minor repairs with him and was able to get these fixed on the spot. J H: I had a leak in my roof and called several well known roofers to get estimates on replacing my roof. I also needed new soffits since the previous owner painted over the soffits. Jim Barr with Sherrif Goslin was the first to respond to my call, the first to show up for an estimate (even coming to my house on a sunday!), and if that wasn't impressive enough, he tarred around my fireplace to prevent further leakages until the roof could be replaced! That is the epitome of excellent customer service.
Ken Mitchell: I had Ed from SG put on 2 roofs for us at my home and also my rental. I recently had a roof issue and called him. I was so happy that Ed was able to take care of my problem quickly and it was done right. This wasn’t a problem SG created but it was a problem for me. D&J Buhler: One year ago, I left a scathing review of the work preformed on our home by Precision Roofing. One of the reasons for the negative comments was an attic fan that was supposed to be removed, but was not. Due to an overly aggressive raccoon attempting to break into our attic, I once again contacted Jeff at Precision Roofing about removing the attic fan. Once he became aware there had been a problem, the fan was removed and roof patched within 24 hours.This recent experience with the company made me realize the negative experience of a year ago was all due to personnel. This time around, the project manager was much more proactive. Also, the work showed much greater respect for our property. April Agnello: We had hail damage from a storm in 2021, it took them almost a year to get the project finished. I believe I talked to 5 different people saying they were going to work on my project, each time they never showed up. The workers that did show up were very inconsiderate to my belongings, they would step on my things instead of use a ladder for siding. D BR: We had a leak coming out of our siding and running into an inside wall. Precision's representative, Nik, accessed that the leak may have been coming from a small flat roof that had not been re-roofed for many, many years. Precision's Shane and Max re-topped the flat roof. It looked like a fine job. Very neat. But the leak did not stop. They came back to seal any possible places where water might be coming in. Still the leak continues, but we don't blame Precision.During this time of labor shortages, Precision's people went the extra mile. The office manager/receptionist, Ashley, (name?) was super helpful and courteous every time I called.The new little roof will likely last for many years. Deb Kindel: We called last summer to have our leaking roof fixed. It took a few weeks to get worked into their schedule but work was done quickly and professionally when they got here. After rain a few weeks later roof was still leaking so they came out right away and caulked. In spring of this year, we had leaking again in the same spots and couldn’t get them to come back until after half a dozen calls and 2 months. We have had a couple of heavy rains recently with no signs of leaking.The attic vents they recommended have been an ongoing problem. It took many trips out here over months to get them adjusted so they weren’t running for 12 hours or more a day. They still run for 6-8 hours a day if the outside temperature goes over 80 degrees. Elizabeth Chachaj: We had a roof leak and that required swift fix. Precision agreed to fix the repair within two weeks of signing the contract. First individual came out 3-4 weeks after the agreement was signed, for the repair. They left terrible work and damaged our siding in the process. We called to express our dissatifaction with the service and asked them to come make it right. Took them another 4 weeks to send someone out to correct their issue. I had to explain the issue to him, he had to take pictures, and call his supervisor several times. It required him having to leave and come back with more supplies as they did not send him with what he needed. They sent a photograph to my husband stating the issue has been fixed, I was staring at the roof with the damage as he was on the phone with the supervisor.Would not recommend this company. Had a leak around bathroom vent stack prior to their work, and knew I needed a tear off and reshingle. Construction crew didn’t take any extra care in repairing around vent stack(may not have been communicated to them from job manager), and so less than a year later, it’s leaking. Receptionist acted like I was being rude by telling her about ways I think that would improve customer experience, and said I’m free to explain my concerns to the owner. Asia Dowtin: I purchased a home that I knew would need a roof repair over the garage. Although I had begun initial plans to work with another local company to get the work done, I reached out to Capital Roofing simply to get an estimate for comparison. After my first consultation with Coty, I knew that I was going to move forward with Capital. During that consultation, Coty was punctual, knowledgable, and extremely helpful in working with me to develop a plan of action for my roof. He and his team were able to schedule in my roof work within a relatively short time frame after that meeting (~2 week wait). On the day of service, Coty and the team showed up early, did and exceptional amount of work within a respectable time frame, and cleaned the work site up so well that it almost looked better than when they started! On top of that, Coty has remained in contact to check in and provide guidance on any further roof work I may need done in the years to come. All in all, great technical service with the roof, and great customer service from the company...and all for a competitive rate. Alan Kreutzberg: Sub-contractor for job was NOT vetted well by Palmer Construction; very, very poor work! No communication from Owner of Palmer and NO communication from Sub-contractor. NO support or identification of possible remedies from Office Staff. DO NOT do business with Palmer Construction, Lansing, Michigan! I spent several months with poorly installed facia/Azak on home and they even used poorly milled cedar board/facia when the whole reason for the project was to replace deteriorating facia with Azak/PVC Type of material. I also had to have the stucco replaced in areas because when they removed the facia, the stucco was damaged. Project began in December. Audrey Tappenden: This is for employees looking to work for Palmer Construction. I 10/10 DO NOT recommend working for Andy Palmer. His toxic leadership style is a direct result of his high turnover rate. In his interview process he asks employees if they can handle an autonomous work environment only to be micromanaged and belittled once their hired in. Working for Andy I experienced how judgemental he is. With his pattern of hiring employees deciding he does not like them and looking for a solid argument to fire them. Until he finds the reason he is known to act as though they are not worth his time or completely ignore them. His turnover rate could easily be lowered if he put more time and care into what his employees bring to the table instead of his personal projects and broken spreadsheets.One of my many examples of his inappropriate behavior is he hired me and a few weeks later hired my boyfriend. After giving my BF a pay cut, for business reasons, he tells him in the same breath, "But don't worry your household won't suffer because your partner is getting a raise, dont tell her I told you". A day or two later I found out about my pay increase, and when Andy fired my partner I found out that he knew about my pay raise before me. I left the company a couple of months later. Before quitting I had asked Andy to do work review with me and upon ending the meeting I asked how I could do my job better he prompted me to follow him back to his office where he handed me a book on emotional intellegence. I tried to stick it out for another week but unfortunatly could not handle the toxicity.His expectations are unachievable and while he sees no issue with how he treats/uses people, he becomes irate when others treat him with the same disrespect. If you care about your mental health and progressing in your professional career Palmer Construction is not the place to work.

Marcy Bauman: Just had roof, skylights, fascia, soffits, and gutters done by Palmer. I can't say enough nice things about them. Communication was excellent: I always knew where they were going to be, what they were going to do, and how much it cost. Before construction we got detailed maps and photos. A task which was presented to me by Andy Palmer. At the start of the video Andy says, "you need headphones" so he scrabbles around angrily looking for headphones. Slamming doors while swearing profusely. (I know he will discard this but I have proof to back up every word I'm saying right now"). He then tells me he doesn't have time to babysit me. So I walked out and went home. I come into work ready to learn while being paid, so for him to say "I can't baby sit you" is really disheartening. I trusted this man after signing his mission statement which says, treat others how you want to be treated. There is no possible way he wants to be treated the way he treated me. "Feedback"? No it's not feedback it's bullying. He yells at his employees, mostly Thor K.

We have since contracted Palmer to replace two more roofs and have been completely satisfied with their work quality and end of project follow-through. Palmer management has been a pleasure to deal with. In addition we are already planning to invite Palmer Construction back for two more projects. Their communication and responsiveness really impressed me. The estimate appointment was scheduled right away and went very smoothly. Abilash Abi: This company and the owner installed my new roof and I was extremely happy with the entire process. This company gave me a bid before the insurance claim was finalized, and they gave me a very fair bid for an upgraded shingle also. Planning ahead of the job was done well and because there was so much rain in the forecast they put a double crew on my house aimed for a rain-free day and knocked the entire tearoff and re-install in a single day, including fixing a furnace vent at the very end of the day. They even helped me get my insurance company all the documentation they needed to pay out the depreciation check to meet new town rules. I've always had to deal with missed nails in the driveway on previous jobs, but I've found virtually none this time also. It was a very good experience working with the owner and he took care of everything for me. Couldn't be happier with the whole process.

He and his team met with me the very next door. They showed me the damages my roof and explained the process of how their service works. The team was very professional and well knowledgeable with their experience, and provide excellent detail information on everything you need to know about the project. Calling this company was the best thing I’ve ever done and I wished I’d called them sooner.

And they were very kind when I asked how late they were going to work because I had a baby to put to bed they wrapped up right away and were out of here returning right away to finish the job that same day. As I seen a couple taking a lunch break I offered them lawn chairs to sit in even though those 2 couldn’t speak English very well they were so kind and friendly I was able to teach them the word chair in English and they fought me it in Spanish. The crew was able to finish up that day and cleaned up so well behind themselves I was very impressed. I had several neighbors notice they job done so well I have seen about 10 houses in our neighborhood using them to do home improvement projects.

John Sarafin: Meeting 10/26/21 with John Burnette for project review. He had my contact info including email, did not hear from him for a bid as discussed. On 11/11/21 I left message at his office, I was promised a return call or bid. As of today 11/20/22 no call, no bid ??? I really do not like to complain, this should not be how prospective customer's are treated.As a result of this a one star rating I did 11/22/21 receive a call and bid from John Burnette. Problem discussed. I am changing this rating to a FOUR star as a result.I have a few estimates to acquire and may use Burnette's services in the future.

Even though it had been an incredibly difficult year with tons of logistical and supply hurdles to go through, we couldn't be happier with the way Brunette Home Improvement worked to make our house look stunning. John worked with us, often after-hours and on weekends to make sure that our jobs were completed to our specifications and desires. We have an incredible new elevated screened-in porch addition off the back of our house now that is absolutely gorgeous and wonderful to spend our days in.
