Andy Ruzzin: Ownership finally responded to this review but it was almost 4 months after I was there. Look below and see the 1-star ratings. Go to TerryTown in Grand Rapids instead, don't buy here, they never give a good deal, they will stay fat and happy and you will pay $15k-$20k more, more than just about anywhere else. I tried to buy a $130,000 fifth wheel but when I setup an appointment to come and see their inventory I found out that they lied about what units were available, instead of 6 units to look at they only had 2 and we drove 1.5 hours to get there. I had been texting with our salesman (Ryan) for weeks after our visit trying to find out if a deal could be done, in the end he told me THEY COULD NOT take in a trade and give a good deal, REALLY??? The salesman texted exactly that to me. If you are doing a "trade-in", they will offer THE LEAST AMOUNT for it, ALL OTHER DEALERS in Southern MI (TerryTown, General RV, Camping World, All Seasons, Lakeshore RV, Bishs) ALL HAD BETTER OFFERS than these guys. But if you want to pay CONSIDERABLY more and don't have a trade in, THEN THESE ARE YOUR GUYS !!!! I gave them a 1 rating because zero was not a choice. And FYI, my credit score was 800 plus and my yearly income around $200k a year so I was a well qualified buyer. I bought mine at Terrytown in Grand Rapids they easily met my deal requirements and offer the best service capability.And I see at least 1 more 1-star buying experience (1-month ago) where instead of trying to make a deal for the 5th wheel buyer they told him they would give them their deposit back.
Laura Hillaker: Very disappointed that the service and parts department is not open on the weekends. Would prefer to support local businesses but impossible when they do not offer weekend hours. Salesman was not interested in helping us since we were not shopping for an RV.

Pat Robinson: Thank you for helping us purchase our new Jayco. We found the trailer displayed at at RV show in Lansing MI; we fell in love with the Jayco Jay Flight SLX 195rb.Both Dan and Ryan working at the show were very friendly, helpful and amazing.We were able to put a down payment there, and pick up our new trailer about 2 weeks later. Our showroom rep at the dealer was Ryan K. He met us at the door and was very friendly, a bit disorganized perhaps as he had us in the financial office to sign before we did our walk-through inspection. I had also specifically asked him on the phone what size trailer ball we needed and he told me 2 5/16, which I ordered before going to pick it up. To later be told it was a 2 inch ball by Jared. Ryan denied telling me the wrong size at first. As a result we had to purchase a 2in ball from them. Would have been appreciated if Ryan had offered to cover the cost as the original purchase was made based on what he told us. The trailer had been washed and the vent cover we asked to be added was installed. They did have to change out the water heater cover as it was bent which they did at no charge. The inside was clean, yet there was some drops of the winterization fluid left in the tub and sink.Jared in the prep area was very nice and helped us get hooked up and underway. Only question we will be calling about is whether or not we were supposed to get a wheel to go under the hitch along with the flat plate. Hoping if the wheel was forgotten it can be shipped to us, as we live 2 hours from the dealer.Mike W in the finance department was great. Explained available options and got everything squared away for financing. Thank you everyone for assisting us.

Yaby Boda: **UPDATE**After this review was posted, Gillette's had replied to it stating that someone would be contacting me about these issues....nope, just another lie.Additionally, the service manager assured me they would be sending me brand new puck lights to replace the used ones they sent me......also another lie.Huge mistake buying a new RV from Gillettes, sales went well but when it came to the service..oh boy, it's like the owners, managers and sales reps all brought their children to work, put them in a room and called it the service department, that's how inexperienced, unknowledgable and flat out lazy these guys are, 9 months! Thats how long it took them to fix 7 puck lights, one leaky window seal, a huge gaping hole directly underneath the goose neck drain of my bathtub that leaks right into the insulation and wood frame, A gaping hole in the wall where the slide out was cut out during manufacturing(it looks like someone lost control of the jigsaw that they were using) a leaking propane tank pigtail connector, broken refrigerator door latch and some sort of fluid oozing out of every spot where there was a nail in the interior trim. 9 Months they had my RV and the only thing they fixed was the leaking seal on the window, 3 of the 7 Puck lights, the refrigerator door handle(which broke again two days later) & the pigtail, they ran the clock out on my warranty with their procrastination and constant lies about waiting on repair authorizations that Jayco themselves said they never filed or were just not even required or part orders that Jayco confirmed were never placed. This was 2 years ago now, fast forward to just the last couple weeks and they finally sent me the rest of the puck lights although I received used puck lights and Jayco confirms that they didn't order them from them and that Jayco doesn't stick used parts nor do they send used parts to dealerships or retailers, so another lie from Gillette's. I would just steer clear of this place altogether it's a headache nothing but a headache.
Andi Harvey: I cannot say enough good things about Gillette's RV! After a disaster of a day at Bish's in Coldwater, I reached out looking for a specific camper that Gillette's had on their lot. They were incredibly fast, efficient, and when I arrived to purchase my camper, Stuart, Alec, and Kyle were all EXCEPTIONAL to deal with! Not only that, my camper was BEYOND clean, prepped, and ready for me. They take great care in what they do, and it shows. I can't wait to purchase another RV from them!
Tabatha Surfass: Very disappointed and frustrated with Gillette! We were attempting to purchase an RV and put down a $500 deposit to hold our chosen RV while the bank was reviewing our application. After the bank responded with their offer we had to decline it because it contained too harsh of terms for our current financial situation. We were informed by Gillette that they would refund our deposit of $500 (that was in June). I have called multiple times and each time I am told it will be completed or that their GM is on vacation and he will approve when he gets back. However, each time I call back to check on it I get another excuse or empty promise that it will be done. Starting to wonder if the GM is even a real person or is it just a way for them to avoid refunding anyone's money. I would avoid putting down a payment with Gillette if you are concerned about ever getting it back...also it is concerning that they continue to lie about $500...one would think that amount of money would not be so difficult for them to refund...makes one wonder if possibly they are struggling financially. Hopefully I can get my money soon!
Matt Bleicher: Bought a big coachmen trailer here a few years back. Camper is junk slowly falling apart after being properly stored. I've called several times for repairs and possibly buy trailer back....they don't call back. I would avoid and try somewhere else. Change my mind Gillette's........ Customer service is a joke....sorry change my mind Stuart........🤷

A Se: We recently purchased a used truck camper from Gillette’s. We live in Tennessee and had to rely on the photos supplied in the for sale ad and also on the word of Brian, our salesman. So somewhat nervously, we paid a deposit and then waited while our truck was prepared here in Tennessee. A month later, we made the 500 mile trip up to Gillette’s.We could not have been happier with our experience there. Not only was the camper ready, prepped, and waiting, but two men in the service department, John and Mark, generously spent lots of time with us newbies and made sure every question was answered. Brian also did not disappoint. The camper was even better than he described. Even Kyle in accounting managed to find a creative way to make us especially happy.Often times, good experiences go unrecognized. But not this time. Thank you, Gillette’s!
Kevin Garner: I delivered a new camper here several times, they are always very nice and get me back on the road with in 30 minutes or less. Not like some dealers that treat you like trash and make you wait 2 hours.

Tara Ekstrom: We just purchased a Jayco HT 28.5RSTS from Jake. When we arrived the 5th wheel was all set up, air conditioning on and ready for our inspection. Jake.was very detailed in explaining the operation and proper maintenance of our RV. Jake worked us such a good deal, we drove 2000 miles to take delivery of her. Staff was great. They had us in, out and back in the road with in the the hour. We highly recommend Gillette's Interstate RV, no matter where you live. IIt's worth the drive. Sure wish you guys were closer to us. We have had nothing but problems with the dealership here in our area for warranty work.
Tabitha Munday: Bought a 5th wheel 1 year ago. We bought the best warranty they had....needless to say we had to have the motherboard replaced, slides fixed, now we have 4 to 5 leakes( warranty did not pay for the slides, nor the motherboard). Mind you we have winterized the camper for the 1 winter that we have had it.

Si Klien: BEST, and i mean BEST, RV dealer in the country!!!! These guys/gals go above and beyond to make sure you're 100% taken care of. We spent a couple hours troubleshooting a trailer brake disconnect - they recrimped every connection and replaced EVERYTHING from the truck to the trailer to ensure it was corrected. Thank you all you're the bestest!!!
Jean Duquette: Purchased a 2023 Cherokee Gray Wolf at the RV show from Jeff Every and we have been very happy with the process - even though we had a couple bumps on our trade -- They worked hard to make us happy and the service dept has done the same! Heather Brien: Amazing dealer! Treated us like family!I can not begin to explain how happy we are with our new to us Wolf Pup and with thee service we received at Price Right in DeWitt! We tried another dealer first and felt pressured and uncomfortable.Here we felt at home and Tom Sanford treated us like friends! We even brought our pup throughout the buying process and they spoiled her appropriately.We bought our Pup back in December and picked her up yesterday. Tom was welcoming. The independent walk through gentlemen Bill was patient and helpful. And Logan took care of my pretty truck with my hitch and sway bars etc.So so happy.
Pam Farnworth: We had a great experience with Price Right, just got our camper this week. Josh Garey was wonderful to work with. Not high pressure, responsive and didn't get upset when we bombarded him with questions. We have a seasonal site so needed to have the unit delivered. Their delivery guy, Dave, was phenomenal too, had it set (on our tight space) exactly where we needed it within a few minutes. Everyone we have been in contact with at the Dewitt location is professional and top notch. It's worth the drive to deal with them.

Ron Smalley: I can tell you story after story all the way back to when Kitsmiller was located in south Lansing of nothing but great service, professional staff and very caring people.In recent years it's been Ron and Geneene who have been so amazing with everything in helping us from the very minor to major issues. We are now 80% full timers and save most of our needs for when we are back in town. Every year we ask them to do a complete service of everything just before we head south for the winter. Trust? Nothing but trust for us. I don't question anything as they have proven themselves to stand out beyond reproach. Advice? I seek advice from Geneene a lot about different things and I trust her advice. She has never misled us yet.Over the years I have bought many new and used units from these folks and have never been dissatisfied ever.

Tim Hawker: I bought an 1999 Fleetwood bounder rv from kitsmiller around the end of June. It's august 1st and I still have no rv. Told me waiting on generator 2 weeks ago. They have had the generator since last week. Still no word it's been over a week. I had a cashier's check waiting for them to call and tell me it's ready. Camping season is nearly over. I cancelled the sale for I am not waiting any longer and if it's taking a week to put a generator in there must be more problems. Why u don't fix the rv before you sell it I have no idea.Update august 6th and kitsmiller still has not responded to my emails in regards to giving my deposit back.Today is august 25 2021 and I looked in my checking account and there is a deposit for my 200 dollar deposit.

Tricia Robinson: My husband called here today to get our RV winterized. The guy who answered the phone was so rude, told my husband “ I am 2 weeks out and I have people out so you should take it somewhere else! “ I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. My husband was in disbelief that this is how someone would run their business.So really that’s your response? Your employee was rude and abrupt. If he would of said nicely, I’m sorry we just don’t have the time at the moment, in a kind manner we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Oh and for the people that are reading this it’s super easy to do yourself. Don’t waste your money on a place like this.Oh and the part about the vacation, maybe the guy who answered the phone needs one! Obviously he’s not enjoying his job!

Joanne Dutcher: I tried to buy a camper in 2016 and the salesman was very rude and basically discouraged me from buying one at P& K so I bought one elsewhere. This year I asked if they could check my battery and charge if needed..It took a couple of days and I was told it was ok and they charged me $20 ( I think that's a little over priced)In the future I will continue to drive a little further away to have my camper taken care of. This was my 3rd visit to P &K RV and non of them have been pleasant. It's too bad I have to do business elsewhere instead of my hometown
