Lilly Steele: I’ve been going here for the past 50 years and have had nothing but good experiences. I went in last Friday and had to have a lot of help sorting my scrap to put it all in the right place, but the employees didn’t mind. Great costumer service!!!!

Mitchell Young: I would not support this company for my recycling needs. This company consistently terrorizes the neighborhoods behind them with thunderous smashing & banging sounds from as early as 5:30am to close. They aren't held accountable for this and it makes quality of life in this neighborhood poor. They also don't care that they're doing this. I've tried to reach someone to speak about this issue multiple times and have never gotten a straight answer.
Kyle Hickman: Tried to scrap my car. Set up appointment to get it picked up and after 40 minutes passed our agreed upon time I had to leave. Maybe it was the towing company but Padnos did nothing and then I rescheduled for yesterday from 3pm-5pm and not a single word again. It's just bad business, they wasted my time, and hope this review helps someone else.
Sabina Mosher: Had to get rid of some clunkers, and the time I talked to Austin Hughes to when they picked up my cars, everyone was friendly and efficient. Got a great price too!
Big Country: Sold a scrap vehicle to them, they came and picked it up quickly. They loaded the vehicle and paid me cash, no waiting for a check to clear. Austin was professional and the process was easy.

Dana lea: I love the people who work there always helping everyoneI been going to padnos for at least 15 years it's changed a lot it's gotten easier much quicker than it used to be I moved away and came back it's good to see familiar faces I always like familiar faces I spend a lot of time in non ferrous and the people who have that job has to have patience with me because I always have a mess of stuff and they help me sort stuff out I wish you guys went back to open all day Saturday because I was getting used to sleeping in on Saturday and still not to have worry about being late .But I understand everyone needs a day off I want you all to have a merry Christmas and happy new year there a great staff I will keep coming back to you guys!!!!

Dennis Mitchell: You'd understand how the staff here could be rude because of their frequent dealings with drug addicts, turning in stolen propane cylinders and catalytic converters. But they could not be more courteous, or friendlier! Our family collects together all the recyclable scrap metal we've set aside annually. Padnos pays the prevailing rates for the various categories of metals and the workers are patient and helpful.
brett bretterson: LOW prices and the guys there look for any reason to downgrade your metal. I only go there because they are the closest scrap yard open on Saturdays.

G G: Terrible set up. Gave me the wrong material price and you can’t even tell what they marked it as until you drive all the way back to the front. Terrible scrap yard will absolutely never return. Don’t get taken advantage of and go somewhere else save yourself the anger.

Cole Cornwell: As a complete newbie to the process of dropping off scrap, I was welcomed like a part of the family in every step.I got on site and had no clue where to go(that would be the ONLY improvement, better signage to show where to go when you get there) so I called. I was transferred to the scales and was told where to start. After getting weighed and checking in, I was sent to gate 2 where I was greeted by 3 very nice and welcoming gentlemen. They guided me while backing up to the bay, chatted with me while unloading and one guy even helped taking a few screws out of my aluminum siding so I could be paid more for it. After being weighed again I was told to go to the "Materials Purchasing" office directly across the street where a very nice lady printed out a receipt and gave me instructions on how to get my cash.Friedland is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I will not hesitate to take more scrap metal to them!!!

John Callaghan: This was my first time at Friesland and everyone was great. I was expecting a simple drop off location and drove around the block a couple times, unsure what to do. All you have to do is get in line for the scale and let them know you're new. Everyone gave clear directions and told me what the next step was. It's easy for companies that get a lot of repeat customers to expect you to know the process. Friedland has a good balance of efficiency and accommodating newcomers.
