Lansing Seventh-day Adventist Church: what do users think?
Benita Garcia: Es un lugar con mucho calor humano, te hacen sentir como en casa. Los almuerzos son deliciosos y la gente amable, carinosa.
Melynda Christle-Parker: Fun cooking and the clean up the guys helped..
April Mae: When they say this is a place you can call home, they mean it. From the welcoming at the door till the goodbye on out or the community service center and all the many things they do for the community like dinner club and health events helping with housing needs etc.. I've seen God on the move here using people for his glory... I'm happy this is my home church.
Daniel Henderson: A member, rather a Pastor that I had an unpleasant experience helping with his yard work. I was treated without compassion and humility for the work I did for him. He fell way short of the Christ centered message that he spewed to me today.
Vince Cantrell: Great Bible based church with warm friendly people. They have a really strong health message and just completed a free 8 week health seminar where they had medical doctors come in from all over the country to speak and conduct health classes such as, cooking classes, diet and exercise, stress reduction and relaxation training and so much more. I just recently join a small group, studying how God wants us to take care of our bodies including what we eat and drink and leading a healthful life. I've already lost 20 lb, my blood pressure it's down to normal in my arthritis and back pain is almost completely gone. I love the people of this church! 🙂
Mary Weymouth: Loved it
Doris Orr: The people there are very warm and loving.
Domi Mac: Nice
ebony redmond: If you've been to a church were you don't feel welcome. Well here you go this is a church that will make you feel welcome. visit once and you become family so come and feel welcome
Ethan Hilton: It's great
Corey: If God lived on earth, He would live at Lansing Seventh Day Adventist Church. The congregation and Pastor are phenomenal people.
Marisol Quintanilla: Excellent sermons, last Sabbath was about Sodom with even some archeological highlights
Tom Owiti: A great place to worship God in a Bible-based environment.
Catherine Wesley-Ottarson: It is sad to see a Beautiful historic building fall into disrepair!!
Heather Perez: This is a church that not only teaches the love of God and His Word, but also shows it.
Elizabeth Steinweg: Wow!! What a vibrant church!!!
Melynda Christle: I love church, this was at church camp meeting.
Se Min John Park: I really liked that they had a separate kids room with a view of the sanctuary. It was nice to see the speaker without the TV. better worship experience than a church with a kids room with a TV live streaming.

Greater Lansing Adventist School: what do users think?
Marcel Coraje: Nice building with some nice people, but after decades of experience at this church, I feel it is particularly judgemental, even for an SDA church. I went to the church school here and very few of the kids I went to school with attend or return even to visit as adults. This is a denomination with many strict standards which reject dancing, alcohol, caffeine, unclean foods, wearing jewelry, listening to secular music, and clapping after performances just to name a few. The focus is largely on evangelizing and changing people's habits, not on meeting people where they are and loving them regardless of their sins. The friendliness is shallow; the judgment is deep.If you're looking for a place that values strict self-discipline or you want practice hiding who you really are under great scrutiny to appease a largely self-righteous congregation, this church is perfect for you.It is well-organized and does have some strong children's programs like Pathfinders. It taught me to work hard and to be somewhat disciplined, but guilt and insecurity were also strong byproducts. While I developed many talents here, I never felt it was ok to use them in a secular path and thereby the dogma limited my career paths and possibilities. I received a decent education here, but it was full of holes to shelter me from things considered wrong such as To Kill a Mockingbird and The Odyssey. I leaned the Bible well but from a very limited perspective that highlighted judgment and self-righteousness.I return here as a sinner and find it an uncomfortable place; I feel a sharp bitterness. Is that how I should feel? Is that how Jesus made others feel?
Daniel Morrison: I started working at the school this year as the 2-4 grade teacher. The other staff here are so friendly and helpful, and most importantly for a Christian school, they are Godly and prayerful. A wonderful environment, not only for education but for raising children with the character of Christ.
Marijane Mosher: A great place to get an excellent Christian education.
