She then said call back when you don’t have Medicaid. I then stated again that I have Mclaren COMMERCIAL insurance-which isn’t Medicaid! I then advised I’m no longer interested in an appointment due to her assuming I have Medicaid and not actually listening. No thanks!

Autumn Ball: First of all let me say that I waited a month to get in this place because they weren't receiving my doctors referrals that were sent over. I had been here about a year ago to have xanthelasma removed from I eyelid. It was the male dermatologist..I forgot his name. So this time I was with a women doctor and she would not remove them because she didn't feel comfortable. I was in and out in 5 min..literally a waste of time. How is that possible when the other dermatologist was fine with removing it..why not just reschedule me with him. Very upset😡
Erika Cain: We were here for my toddler's eczema. The staff was very friendly. The appointment was very quick. Facility is clean and welcoming. There are stairs up into the office. Tho I did see signs for a handicap accessible entrance, I did not use the alternate entrance or see it.

I always try to get issues resolved before leaving reviews because I know how much reviews matter but they don’t answer their phone and the bills you’ve already paid just go to collections and ruin your credit. I’ve been calling for months and I’ve gotten no help. I paid my bill in person the day of my appointment and I still am receiving collections notices for that same bill months and months and months later.

tmle131: The dermatologist is nice! BUT you will have a hard time contacting this place. I could never reach their staff on my first several phone calls, even before Covid. I left a voicemail requested to be call back but it rarely happened. They give an option of texting their main number but that didn't seem to work either. The time investing in calling them multiple times throughout the day or the next day, is very frustrating, especially if it's regarding urgent matter. This is part of customer service too, so I hope they can improve on this!

She has been fantastic, explaining exactly what treatments she thinks will work, what the plan is for each treatment, and telling me what to expect every step of the way. Her prices are reasonable and she is able to customize so much for you based on your needs. I highly recommend her for any of your skin care needs!

Janan Khalil: When I first came here, I was unhappy with how my skin was very acne prone, had lots of u see the skin bumps, and just unpredictable. Dr. Kim was very understanding and helped me tremendously by starting me on accutane. Now I can confidently walk out of the house with no makeup on and still feel good about myself, thank you!
Gabrielle Brown: I never had acne in high school, and out of no where in my third year of college did I break out everywhere and never not had a pimple showing up. I did research, tried countless new skin care, ate Whole Foods and tried to implement vitamin a, had gone to countless doctors, dermatologists, gynos, and got no where. I had gone through this so called adult cystic acne for two years and had no answers as to why, but only to be seen as $$$ and not a patient. Absolutely no one listened to me and I kept getting prescriptions thrown at me. I never stopped and I refused to drop my beliefs and succumb to society’s views of what “I have”.I came to this place through a referral and not only was I listened to, but I also was educated, and provided me help all in my first appointment. By my third appointment my acne was cleared up and in two and a half weeks and all of my problems were cared for. I have never felt so happy to have gone to such a place and have my skin given back to me. Thank you so so much!! I am glad I never stopped looking for better care and stuck to my gut because there are places out there that still care for the people. And if you are reading this review and you have been going through the same situation do not hesitate to try them out, I promise you won’t regret it. I highly suggest going!!
Mackenzie Maschke: Dr. Kim Garcia has been my dermatologist for 9 years and has done amazing work for my skin. I first saw her when I was 16 and she quickly got my acne under control and worked with me to find my perfect skin regimen. Throughout the past 9 years of being her patient she has always been there to answer any questions or concerns, even while I was living in a different state. She has always made me feel welcome and cared for and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

Kate: The Acne Center of Lansing cleared my skin!!! Before coming in I had tried product after product and had gone to the dermatologist so many times, but nothing worked. My acne made me feel insecure and not confident. But immediately after going to ACL I saw improvements. They assess your skin to make a regimen that fits you. They also do extractions to get all the spots out, allowing your skin to heal. A month after I began my treatments and using their products, I started to see improvements. And it's only gotten better since. Now I barely have any acne, and if I do I come in and they extract it for me. I can not recommend going here enough! If you struggle with acne and have tried everything, this is what you need. Also the staff is very kind and comforting and they truly want to help you.

Megan DesRochers: I came in to see Sydney for a HydraFacial a few weeks back. I was looking for a facial that offered more treatment than just relaxing aroma oils and face masks - I was after something more catered to my skin and what it needs to get better! I've struggled with cystic acne for a few years now, I have to be really careful about what I use on my face (and even what I eat!) or else it will retaliate with painful breakouts. Sydney worked through the treatment, keeping me informed of each step she was doing and how it was beneficial. We did dermaplaning, extractions and even light therapy! If my skin could talk it would have literally said, "ooh, now THIS is good!" The treatment was thorough, yet relaxing at the same time. Afterwards, Sydney gave me some insight on the skincare products they offer at North44, I purchased a few and have been using them consistently since. Great stuff! Let me say, my skin has done a complete 360.. It looks and feels amazing. The texture is smoother, I haven't had a breakout since before the treatment and I'm finding my makeup gliding on more evenly.
