Jeffrey Farell: HOW TO GET WINGS AT LUCKY'S1) Accept that you may not get any wings on that visit. If the owner can't get wings that meet his standards he doesn't buy them. If he's busy bartending, he probably won't be cooking. This isn't McDonalds or BW3, it's one man's singular vision.2) Ask. You may not see any wings in the warmer, but that doesn't necessarily mean he's done. Give him some time and if he can he'll find a way to feed you.3) Come early. If you're there before it gets too busy in the evenings, Jeff will be more likely to have the time to cook.4) Be patient. Hang around for a while, maybe have a second drink, and see what Jeff can come up with.5) Try something else. If you can't get wings (or even if you can), sometimes he has pizza, or pulled pork, or mac 'n cheese, or steaks, or goulash...etc. Everything is good.Great atmosphere and food. Staff are friendly and good at what they do. You walk in and immediately feel welcome. Check it out. If you're lucky enough to get some wings you'll be hooked for life. The quintessential neighborhood bar.

I really wanna side on the fact that it was Msu last day the restaurant was packed and we were seated and didn't get our food for almost 3 hours. It was a bad experience food was ok nothing memorable you can tell our server was overwhelmed. We stayed because it was end of the day only place we could get into to eat and 4 hours away from home. The restaurant was dirty my wife said her shoes were sticking to the carpet which is gross. I think it could be a great spot but I really wanna say we came at the wrong time hope others have better luck

A. Tatara: Ate here because my mom wanted a burger. She was happy with her meal, but the rest of us were more lukewarm to ours - my dad and I both got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, extra hot. Considering they took the time to ask us how spicy we wanted it, I expected to taste some spice, but overall I found the chicken bland and very oily. The creamy blue cheese sauce on the side was pretty good, but that's where most of the flavor came from.The chicken itself was juicy and well-cooked, and entirely too large for a sandwich, but considering the cost ($16), I think it was a reasonable portion (though if it were me, I'd charge less and make the portion smaller and more flavorful).The coleslaw I had on the side had a lot of sauce, but it didn't have a lot of flavor, either. I don't like sweet coleslaw, so in some ways I liked it better than other places, but I would've preferred *something*.The service was good, and I liked the classic sports bar style of the restaurant. The music was far too loud (but I think we were under a speaker, so that might not be true for the whole place), and we could barely hear each other talk. The men's restroom was clean, but definitely not accessible - I'm pretty small and I felt like it was too small to move comfortably in it, and I think someone would have a hard time in it if they had a walker or a wheelchair.

Andrew Rushlow: Based off of my experience I’m gonna give this place a good rating so I’ll give them a 5⭐️ I can tell they put a lot of effort into their quality of food and really keeping the place clean. The staff was wonderful and inviting. This is a great place to relax after beating your opponent and kick back to have a beer. The food is great and actually seasoned to perfection. Who ever you are keep doing great in the kitchen. The ONLY thing I have to say is to let fried food drip some of that oil before putting it into the food basket. Other then that I absolutely loved this place. Good job guys and keep up the good work!

ldwalton75: 1st time here. Very nice place. Indoor and outdoor seating. We happened to go on a Monday when there was karaoke ?. Very entertaining. The portion sizes are amazing. The salad was huge, the boneless wings were great, and I loved the parmesan fries. The fried pickles, although the portion size was great, they could have been cooked a few minutes longer, we paid extra for meat on the nachos, however; they came out with little meat (unseasoned), little cheese, and a little disappointing. They did bring us more meat but it taste watered down no seasoning.All in all, I would definitely go there again I will just not order certain food items.

Michael Taliaferro: Always expect horrible service going in and you won't be let down. Also, expect whatever game you are there to watch not to be on and to have to ask for someone to change it. Expect that to take 20 minutes. Good but limited and a little overpriced menu. Expect to pay $15+ for a burger and fries. Prices go up from there.

I recommend the cauliflower bites!Marios, the manager, is always super welcoming from the second you get to the door and will do anything in his power to make sure you have a good time and keep a smile on your face.The bartenders are all so cute and make sure you are taken care of and always have a drink in your hand. The waitresses also make sure your kitchen needs are taken care of and the bar backs are super helpful if you have any questions or concerns.This place is always clean and playing the best music. Good atmosphere all around and I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a fun time. Feels like home right in the heart of downtown East Lansing.

Apparently the Nuthouse kitchen staff needs to pay closer attention to their orders! My friend ordered no tomatoes, full of them in their wrap. Wonderful place for drinks, but be wary of your kitchen order. Wait staff is wonderful regardless.

Kelly Austin: We had a fantastic experience at The Nuthouse! I brought a group of 49 people in for lunch. Our group had a choice between three pre-selected entrees, so I was able to call our order in ahead of time. As soon as we were seated, delicious hot food was arriving at our table. Sarah, the manager, was great to work wit, the wait staff was friendly and did a great job getting the correct meals to everyone, keeping drinks filled, clearing our table, and checking in with us periodically. Shout out to the kitchen for the awesome food! I will definitely be going back!

And 5he the bad part!But ANYWAYS, The food was awesome... But very slow, especially for use being only ones there at 3:45 pm.Our drinks were kept full and I was given a lemonade in a Togo cup! 😁🌟

pierson black: Servers were nice, but my 12 inch pizza was burnt twice and they had to move it down to the 8 inch size. I feel like I shouldn’t have paid for the pizza at all, but I wasn’t going to be rude and say anything.
Don't Go: Good food but I will no longer order food from here because of the old beer moldy smell that hits you when you walk in the door.

Bradley Ransom: Had to find a server ourselves after waiting 15 minutes. Waited over 50 min for food which I again had to find our server to get. Once the food came out it was not hot.

Jason McIntyre: Sat us at a table that hadn’t been cleaned off yet. Diet Coke was flat, the burger bun was horrible (hard but with some nasty soggy spots….probably where the cook was holding it with his greasy fingers, gross) and the burger was dry. The nachos were so over cooked the chips were black and the cheese was all hardened so the entire plate of nachos was all stuck together. Couldn’t eat them. Not a good experience tonight.

Taylor Family: Party of 16 at the last minute and they accommodated us immediately with amazing service (thank you Stella). The music is diverse and only in the background (don’t have to yell over it). It’s a well lit place, so you can see what you’re eating. The food was very good. The atmosphere was perfect for us (an basketball team visiting Holt high school—parents at one table and players at another, right next to us). While we weren’t there to play volleyball, we were impressed with the facility. I don’t eat meat, so I was super happy to be able to order an Impossible Burger as a substitute for any of the burger options. I highly recommend The Smitty. The calzones are huge and tasty— big enough for two to eat.
