Thomas Earl: I came to see one of my favorite DJs, Skeptic. He's an amazing DJ and I highly recommend checking him out. The Mac is a cool little dive. No cider but that's ok. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly. No complaints. I would definitely recommend it!

M Nedloc: Tin Can East Lancing is a good place to relax, enjoy some games, watch sports while enjoying some bar food. My first time here didn’t include the night life aspect but I just wanted a drink and something for lunch. I thoroughly enjoy their mac and cheeseburger as well as their breaded wings and I get it almost every single time I’m hungry here. Depending on the day, sometimes the bar can get day busy but at night it’s a lot livelier. Bar food is great, a lot of fried snacks, burgers, wings, pizza, this restaurant/ bar does offer a lot. I know it doesn’t sound the healthiest bar but they do offer slightly healthier options like wraps. They have a good selection of beers and local beers and they almost always have pudding shots which are fun that always come in different flavors. It is a nice alternative to jello shots. But of course, they don’t just offer beer but they have straight liquor too, so a little something for everyone. The best way to park here is paid parking and probably catching a, “cab.” As far as the night life goes, it can get pretty busy, it’s a popular spot near MSU campus

n K: The floor was not sticky, so that was a nice surprise. Very cool hole in the wall. It was very clean. The bartender was nice and the punch cards are an interesting concept. However, the shots were terrible. Which I guess is ok because they were cheap. But if your focus is on shots I'd really think they would at least taste good.They have a 3 shot limit. Not fair for more experienced drinkers 🤷🏼♀️

Julia Friske: I celebrated my birthday this past week and one of our stops was Tin Can. We loved playing water pong and being able to control music on the jukebox. Both the blonde and brunette bartenders helped us pick out tasty shots for me as I don’t like it when they taste too much like alcohol. We also started a shot tour which I thought was really cool (probably won’t finish it but still cool). I don’t know any other bars that do that down here in Virginia! We will definitely be coming back again

Mark Nelson: Underground grime-central but great at being exactly that.Lots of open space and a big dance floor. Fun to watch the college kids struggle to dance to the DJ's completely undanceable radio tracks, but worth it just for that.Easy to get in and leave.

Amanda Ellison: We had our worst experience EVER at Harper's. It was empty ( 1 other table seated) and we had a party of 6. 3 drinks were wrong, it took an hour to get appetizers, and when they finally arrived, they were ICE cold. We had to go hunt staff down for any help, or questions and when the manager came to talk to us, she was in a sports bra and leggings ( straight from the gym maybe?) For the first time ever, I canceled our order and left. Will NOT be back. Just completely dissaponted in this place!

The floor was so sticky it was disgusting. We failed to read reviews before entering otherwise we probably would never of gone. I do not suggest this place to anyone. I do believe my friend thought her beer was OK, but my mixed cocktail tasted like mostly water. If they weren’t capable of making a cocktail I would’ve rather have been told that then being served a terrible drink. I had a Reuben sandwich and the corn beef was very very over cooked and super dry, the fries were greasy. My friends nachos came out cold. The waiter we had was very underwhelming and what appeared to be a manager/possible owner of the bar seemed very frazzled and less than interested in this place himself. 0 out of 5 stars. Will not go back.

I went here because every other place had a wait and it was full of OSU fans on game day. $5 cover to get in and there wasn't even a band or anything. The gratuity is automatically put on every bill and they make you close out after every food or drink you order. Very odd. Bar tenders would take an empty bottle and not offer to refill it. Got the nachos and they were about the worst I've ever had. Like someone went to the grocery store and got the ingredients then dumped it on a tray and microwaved it 10 sec to melt the cheese. They do brew their own beer and the one I tried was decent.
Pablo Dominguez: Went on Saturday Oct 8th when Texas OU, TN vs LSU and KS vs TCU, and Michigan vs Indiana were on prime time. Excellent wait staff tried to get the right games to be shown, but for whatever reason it was more important to show a MLB game on the majority of the TVs and NOT show college football. Was here for a college visit with my son and I will never be coming back here again. Absolutely horrible college experience.
Bruce Larson: We would not go back to this place if we were in the area again.We went on football Saturday.The music was so loud, we had to sit outside.The wait staff were in not quick at all.We ordered some Cokes and our waitress brought them in 6 oz glasses. Luckily we placed our order when she brought the drinks.15 minutes later, my wife's meal and appetizers showed up. The rest of the table two salads and a burger took 15 minutes longer.We had to request napkins and silverware.We also asked for refills of Cokes. (they never showed up)Salads had no dressing, no catsup delivered for the fries.One of our party went into the kitchen to get dressing for the salads - took 5 minutes.Finally I went in to get refills and saw our waitress just swamped with tables and other things. She brought out the refills after we were done with lunch. Walked in to pay the bill and had to wait 5 minutes more while two other servers were in running their tabs.This place needs to change their approach. Have waiters just take orders and handle drinks. Have servers handle the food.

Five sandwiches took an hour? Drinks were slow. Apps were slow. And the sandwiches were merely okay—certainly not worth waiting an hour for.Also, the bathrooms were in terrible condition. The dryers didn’t work and there were no paper towels.Go pretty much anywhere else.

Bob VanCamp: I saw this place on google for seafood near me. I got there, now realizing it’s just a college bar/brewery. I just ordered a beer and looked at the menu. I was the only person in there and the waitress was setting at a table having a meeting with co workers. I tried to get a food order or at least another drink. I had to wave my hands to get service. I patiently waited for 10 minutes and she didn’t even look or care I was there. Finally got the bill paid and left very disappointed. I drove to get a good meal and a beer. Unfortunately the service wasn’t available. Food should just be taken off the menu and treat it as a nightclub.
Bill Chopik: Drinks/good are cheap (and not great). Bathooms: no stall doors (on men's) and hand-blow-dryers don't work, suggesting that might not care that much about cleanliness.... It's fine, there's nothing else in this town.

Talayah Owens: This place is disgusting!! This was my first time ever eating from here. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, Louhas burger and chicken fingers basket. The louhas burger I ordered had a spoiled almost black piece of lettuce at the bottom, whole thing was soggy altogether and when I broke a piece off to see the middle it was just pure raw pink. Chicken basket only had 3 scraps of chicken w fries but the fries were old and tasteless, the chicken was okay though. Dawn Fagerstrom: Went only for food because it was rated highly by foodies from the Lansing area. Food was horriblly over seasoned and cold! Service was horrible! Started with one waitress and ended with a different one. Had to cash out our food / drink bill with old waitress in order for the new waitress to get us a drink. Didn't get us napkins or silverware with our dinner. The food sat on the counter with people breathing all over it. Never asked us how the food was or if we needed anything else. Just horrible! We normally tip great. Sorry, you missed that boat.

Georgia Randels: Hands down the best bar in East Lansing/Lansing area. Been going here for a couple years and have not had a bad experience yet. Best bar for game days, holidays, or even a Tuesday night pizza and cocktail. I recommend the cauliflower bites!Marios, the manager, is always super welcoming from the second you get to the door and will do anything in his power to make sure you have a good time and keep a smile on your face.The bartenders are all so cute and make sure you are taken care of and always have a drink in your hand. The waitresses also make sure your kitchen needs are taken care of and the bar backs are super helpful if you have any questions or concerns.This place is always clean and playing the best music. Good atmosphere all around and I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a fun time. Feels like home right in the heart of downtown East Lansing.
