Jordan Weiss: I’ve been tanning here for years now and I’m super disappointed with the new changes. I pay $80 a month as the prices have gone up and now they’ve changed their hours to fewer hours so now I can’t tan when I get out of work on the weekends , they have also changed things so you can schedule appointments to tan so now almost every time I get there to tan someone “has an appointment in the next 10-20 minutes” so I can’t use the beds or spray tan machine even though I’m already there unless I want to wait an extra 30-40 minutes. $80 a month is extremely expensive to not even be able to use what I pay for… extremely disappointingService:Tanning

Jennifer Williams: I had my first spray tan today. It was such an amazing experience. I'm going to Vegas in a couple of week and wanted to get a little color but I don't use the tanning beds anymore. So, I wanted to check the spray tan's out prior to my vacation. I researched tanner's online around me for a couple of weeks and found that VIP had the best reviews. I called a day ahead and made an appointment. The person (I can't remember her name) I spoke with was very informative and patient with all my questions. The salon was easy to find and had plenty of parking. When walking in, the salon was very clean and welcoming. The girl at the desk was a doll!!! I made sure I got her name, Dani (not sure of the spelling), she was awesome and so very friendly. She went above and beyond helping me, answering my questions and calming my nerves. She went thru all the packages and was never pushy. She was so knowledgeable, I just took all her suggestions and went with it. When ready to go back, she showed me everything from the barrier cream, how to stand and what to do when I'm done. I got the (not sure if I'm saying this all correctly) Dark Level, immediate color and am so very pleased!! And, I'm not orange!!! It looks so natural. The customer service, alone, would have me returning. I am confident I'm going to love my tan as the days go by!!! and plan on making another appointment prior to my vacation!!! Thank you, Dani!!

They even have AC right in the beds, so NO messing w/ fans to make sure they're facing right way, on high, etc...highly recommend you switch from wherever you're currently tanning. I always look forward to going in because it's my 10 minute mini-vacation for the day. Lastly, they do sell protective eyewear. "Pods" are great, they're inexpensive & are on a keychain, so I never forget them!

Benjamin Vrobel: VIP Tanning truly sets the standard for high end tanning. Without question they have the best beds I have ever used! The place is very clean and has a large waiting area. However, with over 20 tanning stations, the wait is never very long; even with the large cliental.

In a market where competition is fierce, VIP is far superior, both in their availability of a wide-range of beds and tanning options but also in their expertise of what works and their efforts to ensure a positive experience. For what it's worth, I recently relocated to the Lansing area for work and essentially chose a name from the phonebook, assuming it would be a trial and error ordeal. Let me save you the time and hassle and highly recommend VIP Tanning.
