ken slee: When they picked me up I inquired about an early morning pick up for my return trip and was told it would be no problem and was told to call and make a reservation. Two days later I called to make the reservation and was told they don't do early morning pick up. Will never use again.

JC R.: We needed a ride to the new McLaren hospital very early in the morning for an important surgery. We usually use Lyft or Uber for our local transportation needs, but nobody is up that early and we needed someone reliable. We live on the South side of Lansing and when I called I was informed that there is a $45 minimum charge due to our location, because this taxi service is based in East Lansing. That's pretty expensive, but we agreed anyway because we really had no alternative. Laith was also honest and up-front with us about this, and he didn't surprise us with it, which I do appreciate.The ride itself was excellent. Pick-up was on-time, his vehicle was clean, the ride was smooth, and payment was easy. I have zero complaints about the actual quality of service we received, I'm only knocking one star off because it's quite expensive if you don't already live in East Lansing. That being said, I'd give 4.5 stars if I could because Laith was very and courteous and a good driver. If we lived East of here it would be an easy 5/5, no doubt. I would still use LM Cab service again in the future if we ever find ourselves in a similar situation, and I do recommend him. Thank you.
Sandi Smith: Laith was dependable, timely, and his car is pristine. He is a nice person and a good conversationalist, but he does not talk if you need to be concentrating on something else. He and his service are excellent.

Sanfeng Miao: The most reliable taxi service in the Lansing area! We had two emergency situations, the first time we were looking for a ride to the airport leaving at 4:30am, we called all cab services we could find online the night prior, and nobody but LM cab picked up. The driver showed up on time and got us to the airport.The second time we were going to Amtrak East Lansing, train was leaving at 8:54am, we thought we could get a Uber but guess what, we kept requesting a ride but there was no Uber driver around. We freaked out and called LM cab. We did not have high hopes because we only had 30 minutes left before the train departure time, but LM cab showed up and got us there!!And of course the driver is always polite and respectful :)

Very reliable.My driver usually shows up early but doesn't rush me to hurry up and will wait for the appointed time.The phones don't seem operational 24/7 but with the pandemic and shortage of employees, I totally understand. However, they do have an app that has been very useful! Don't have to call at all. Again, being aware of shortage of staff, I usually order my taxi a day beforehand so I'm not sure how their last minute service is.The rates are decent, too. I used to use another taxi company that was almost twice the price.
Amber Riley: Made reservation 2 days in advance. Received text confirmation the day before. 5am pick up from hotel to Lansing airport. NO SHOW NO CALL. Took 40 mins for an Uber to pick up, missed my flight. ONLY seat out of Lansing the entire day. Royal express cost me another night in hotel, more ground transportation and a day of work. Not even a call back! DO NOT USE ROYAL EXPRESS. This is the first negative Google review I’ve ever left anyone!

Lisa Bertsch: Long story short Greyhound made my mother miss her bus in Detroit going to Alma, needless to say she was left in a Lansing terminal that had closed, being a severe diabetic, no phone, and me being in VA the only thing I knew to do was call for cab services. The only one that answered their phone was this amazing company. After speaking to Chuck he assured me that he would make sure he got to my mom and delivered her all the way to her home in Blanchard MI. Chuck did just that he got her home and went beyond that to text me that she was home safely. L Town came through for me and Chuck was a blessing. I cant thank them enough for the amazing service. Totally recommend them.

j s: Called, said theyd take 30-45 minutes after 45 minutes, it was a no show. After 1 hour still a no show.Not a taxi for time engagements or limits. Next time ill plan around a bus which might be just as bad time wise only significantly cheaper.
Sarah Kurecka: Called to have a cab pick us up and was told it would take 35 mins to an hour but would get a phone call saying when the cab was on the way. After waiting an hour we called to see what was going on and to find out they never scheduled the cab to pick us up. If someone calls for a cab and says “pick us up” that means they need to be picked up so I wasted my time waiting around on them. I will never use this cab service again!

Frank S Ravitch: We had an issue with a taxi not showing up, but the company paid us back for the parking fee we incurred when we drove to the airport. They paid us back even though the parking fee was large since we were out of town for about three weeks. The owner personally dropped the check off at my office. It is nice when a company accepts responsibility for an error and takes care of its customers.
G M: I had booked a cab for 4:10am. Confirmed the cab the night before and made sure the receptionist had the right information. In the morning, cab didn't show up at all. Called 7 times on their number, no one picked up. I had to drive my own car to the airport and ended up spending $50 more because of their total and absolute lack of professionalism.

Once they picked me up from Meijer, I had almost $400 in groceries and the driver insisted I didn't carry anything.. He carried all my groceries in, had to make about 5-6 trips. I highly recommend this company over any and all cab companies. The owner is so understanding. They charged me $5 the first time I got picked up because the driver was only 2 minutes late because of the construction by my house and that was a ride from okemos to west Lansing. I will never use another cab service ever again. :)

TrackSuit Baby: very racist his wife stared me down the whole time IN the car making me uncomfortable and he assumed i wasn’t going to pay because i’m black. He literally looked at me and said i can get out the car if i don’t dive the money. This assumption was very ignorant and i would never ride with them EVER AGAIN WORST EXPERIENCE EVER A WASTE OF $69 that he showed late to come get me anyway!

Lyft was useless so I tried googling Lansing cabbies and Taxi Ray was one. Left mssg on his voice mail. No answer after several minutes. I started walking home. Sent a text canceling. Then he responded with "OK". Quickly I responded trying to still get him. No response. This might be a wonderful cabbie but we didn't connect. 3 stars because there has to be a better way to communicate with customers.
Karen Walker: Do not recommend. I texted a week ahead of time to schedule a cab round trip and was told I could do that. I gave all the directions and my name. They confirmed I was scheduled. On the scheduled day I texted to confirm. They responded it looked like walking distance. I responded it was 2.2 miles one way so not walking distance and to confirm or not. Did not receive a response and had to schedule a ride with a different company.
Ron Shafer: No show after telling me I had to wait for him to have dinner. Wouldn't use this service if it was only in town call uber or lift.

S. Bibula: I called and was immediately asked to text the info. Odd, to say the least. He took a very long time replying. I was given a pick-up time, and asked what car to look out for. No response. After waiting more than 10 minutes, I texted and asked how long it would be. No apology. I was just told to look for a blue van that would be here in 5 minutes. 12 minutes late now. The car pulled up and the driver just sat there. I tried three times to open the door but it was stuck. He stared at me and finally got out after the third attempt. He did not even say hello. I got in and saw that it was filthy and grimy. The driver said only "You know we don't accept card; only cash". Nice manners. I got there and got out as quickly as possible. Later, I called every number but theirs for the return trip, but could not find a ride so I called. No answer. Many minutes later I received a text, asking me to please text with details, saying he was on the phone with another client. I did not tip, and the trip was not worth $16 to go 3.8 miles. I was desperate, but not again! So unprofessional! How can anyone think this is a way to run a business?
