Once you call him back and ask why you'd want to work for a company with no communication he hangs up the phone on you.Also wants you to drive your personal vehicle to all the different job sites with no reimbursement of expenses.Best advice is just stay away from this company in all aspects!

This company has given me opportunities to get important and relevant hands on experience allowing me to learn something new every single day since starting. Damian DeFeyter: Wish I followed Joe Smith advice before stating work here. Some of the stuff is true that I came across too, and I'm sure the other things are true too based on what I've heard from other employees that I worked with in the 2 years I worked there. Stated its a union job, but don't be jibbed it's not for the employees right. it's only so the company can steal work/jobs from other more qualified company's. The Union WONT be there for you if you need them! They don't have that many employees working for them like they state on their website, most I've seen employed is maybe 15 at one time that's including office help. The owner has one worker that's been there for awhile, and he holds that employee up on the ladder. No matter what happens, he could never do wrong. I've personally heard this employee talk down on the owner and owners daughters who work in office. And they know this but are to scared to get rid of him for some reason, MAYBE because he has or knows something that could damage the company. i have seen a lot of good workers get let go because he didn't like them for any reasons, and I told myself it would never happen to me. I have done nothing but good and put my 100% towards this company, but in the end I was thrown away like trash. I went to the Union to help with what was going on, like I stated the Union isn't here for the employee which I found out! This is my experience with this company and you don't have to take my words, but just heads up on what might happen to you.

Joe Smith: Avoid this company by all means. This company is without a doubt the most unprofessional company I have ever come across. Starting with the falsehoods recorded on their voicemails in which they advertise having multiple RCDD's on staff. Totally false! They have one...the owner who for years has had an employee turn over rate of more then 100+ workers due to the fact they are unfairly treated and under paid. They are asked to incur out of pocket expenses for anything from materials to providing gas for company vehicles at times when the company gas cards are unpaid.The owner sets most of his employees up for failure by placing them on jobs they have not been trained for and in fact does little to NO training at all for his workers. His workers are not provided with the adequate training, tools and materials to do the work they are assigned and in fact there have been many installations that are NOT done to specifications and he has submitted false documents in order to get paid for these jobs.He continues to deny his workers proper compensation for prevailing wage jobs and when they question him about it he makes up reasons to fire them and also ways to try to deny their unemployment. He operates as a union company but his employees receive 0 benefits from this union and in fact the money they pay only benefits the company as to allow them a loop hole in bidding against true union contractors for work he is not qualified to to do.He also claims to offer profit sharing but in fact it never materializes due to the unethical ways he does his book keeping. When asked to open his books he only shares a portion of them as to hide the ongoing abnormalities that allow him to keep functioning in the manner in which he has grown accustom to doing.This is just a short list of things about this company and all of these issues are not false accusations. They can be verified by anyone that would like to take the time to look into them and by doing so you will save yourself a lot trouble!
