The Support Group, LLC (aka MHVA): what do users think?
Courtney Upchurch: In November 2020, I contracted with The Support Group to help with credentialing with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), as well as to handle my ongoing insurance billing. My interactions were initially positive, but quickly went downhill. A month had passed from when I was told by The Support Group my BCBS application was submitted, but I’d received no status updates from either BCBS or The Support Group. I reached out to BCBS myself, and was informed they had no record of an application. When I asked The Support Group about this, they said they’d follow up, but a week passed with no response. I once again reached out, and they confirmed BCBS had no record of an application, but emailed me a copy of the fax cover sheet to prove it’d been sent. They also said they’d resend the application to BCBS, and in the meantime, there were other ways they could submit claims through their practice. In January I ended up following up with BCBS again, and was informed my application had been received, but a required document called a signature form wasn't submitted with it. Yet again, I reached out to The Support Group to let them know there was an issue with my application. They said they’d send the form over right away.My experience with The Support Group continued to decline. I was spending a significant amount of time emailing them to ask for updates, double-checking clients’ billing to ensure their claims were being submitted, and ensuring sure co-pays and deductibles were updated so clients weren’t being charged incorrectly. Timelines I was given on when claims would be submitted and payments would be received were frequently not met. By the time February rolled in, I decided to end my contact with The Support Group as it felt working with them was creating more stress in my life instead of reducing it. I gave two weeks’ notice per the terms of our signed agreement, and they said they’d make sure everything was buttoned up. After my contract with The Support Group ended, I began submitting claims electronically to BCBS, but they were all rejected. When I contacted BCBS, they said the signature form was never submitted, and as a result, though my provider application was approved, I was not approved to be a participating provider in their network until that form was received. I’ve also been left confused about claims The Support Group marked as externally submitted, but never issued payments for.I’ve emailed The Support Group twice about these issues, and have received no response. In addition, billing errors they made with several of my clients have come to light, and needless to say, none of those clients were very happy when I informed them of the issues. One of those clients refused to pay their balance and cancelled all of their future sessions. In other words, The Support Group ended up costing me a client, and damaged my reputation with othersI hired The Support Group to remove stress from my plate, but they ended up creating more of it; over a month has passed since the contract ended and I’m still cleaning up messes. If you value your time and your company’s reputation, I suggest looking elsewhere for your credentialing and billing needs.

Opus Virtual Offices: what do users think?
Mick Bement: I made a mistake and dialed their phone number by mistake while I was looking for the LLCS office, which is located in the same building, just with a different phone number. Due to the ethnicity of my voice the receptionist was very rude, and actually hung the phone up on me. Her exact words were "same office, different phone number", and she hung up on me, without a good-bye, have a nice day, or even have nice weekend; saying that it is Friday, and my day started out great, until dialing the wrong phone number. The receptionist claimed since I wasn't a client of their office, then I wasn't allowed to call their phone. This was after I called back to address her rudeness with me on the phone. If that's how you treat a person on the phone, who dialed the wrong number, then how do you treat your clients, behind their backs? I wouldn't do business with them, if they paid me.
