The sound engineer had no clue regarding how to conduct sound testing on "Monitors" and we were left with the option of giving the performance based on our instincts. The sound on monitors was almost at zero level and the sound engineer gave up on conducting the sound check. He was both "unprofessional" and "un-apologetic" and was most of the time engaged with his mobile phone (maybe playing some game but definitely not doing something related to soundcheck). No sound was heard on the "stage" and our band had to play blind.
