Ashley A: Worst post office every. The ladies there are lazy and don’t want to do their job. They will sit there and finish there conversation before acknowledging you. I went there to change my address I filled out a paper and turned it in. Did they ever change my address? No! I’m not sure what they did with the form I filled out
Amara Haynes: I have email responses from Supervisors Mark, Chelsie and Adam from FEBRUARY 2023 [yes, last month] that a request from JANUARY has STILL not been resolved. I have called and put in online requests MONTHLY since January. They have blocked my calls, they do not respond to emails or USPS website complaints, requests, inquiries. They even had the audacity to attempt to get me to use the site to make change while I was there in person yesterday while still unable to explain what been going on since December of 2022 with my mail. No one can give me answers on news on a major rerouting country wide....as if that has anything to do with my inability to get mail processed to address which is my issue is a sorting issue not a delivery issue...yeah.It's CRIMINAL what their staff here is doing or not doing. Blatantly ignoring and turning a blind eye to no less than a dozen complaints and at least 50 phone calls from January to current. Again still no reason or results.
Amara E.: Due to a malicious & EXTREMELY lazy mail carrier I did not receive my mail for over 2 months. I put in multiple complaints since January and no one investigated or made changes until TODAY. They even admitted that my name is on multiple lists they receive from my apartment community.I have been forced to call the 1-800, a private number given to me by someone from the 1-800 line to someone in Grand Rapids and the Collins Rd post office. No attempts were made to rectify this situation happened until today. I have lost my a renewed license, the replacement for the returned original and multiple address verifications for my business. No one has any explanation for what happened but it's clear someone tried to cover up their mistake. Do not expect them to handle any issues in a timely or professional manner.This branch needs a serious investigation from someone outside of this office.

Ryan Warner: I moved from my old residence so I filled out a change of address forwarding form. In the six months since I've moved every package I've had delivered to my old address was never forwarded to my new address. I've had to take it upon myself to get my mail because the post office refuses to forward my mail. The last package I had to delivered to my old address (even though I have a forward address) was picked back up by the mail carrier just for it to get lost back in their system. It's been weeks with no movement. It's impossible to talk to someone and when you finally do know one can give any answers as to where it is. There's no holiday. It's not a busy time for mail. There's no excuse for this and there's no other option other than to hope the post office delivers my mail. What a joke of a company

jasper engel: I've had a good experience with the delivery people who come to college Towne. The lady who is the main person to deliver mail here is really kind and understanding, I scheduled a pickup and forgot to attach the label and tape it up and she was kind enough to let me finish taping it while she finished putting mail in the mailboxes. There are a few other people who do the pickups in college Towne and they are very kind as well.
Christián Henry PhD: I have a great experience every time. A postal worker even explained the new kiosk system to me! I’m a little sad I won’t have to talk to them to send my packages anymore!
Darek Johnson: Won’t deliver my mail to my address no matter what I do. I’ve called them multiple times and entered a change of address but mail will always be declared ‘failed to deliver’ and sent back to sender. I’m told it’s due to being new at my apartment despite living there for a year and when I’m told they will look into it / put a note on deliveries nothing changes. Worst experience with a post office ever.
Adriane Reimberg: I would give no star if I could. I'm surprise with the 3.1 stars for this facility (should be -1). I left my envelope stamped in the hands of the USPS clerk in my city. No problem at all. Went to Detroit Distribution Center, no problem at all. Arrived to Lansing Distribution Center, no problem at all. When arrived at this facility some one decided that it was not a package because it's not unflexable enough. It was just deliver once it was there but they returned it to me after more than two weeks and my tax forms now are delayed. A Robot would be more sensible and smart (since the cost to return doesn't worth). Maybe there are no carriers enough to make the service so it's easy get rid of some envelopes or packages. Such a great service. Next time it will be UPS or FEDEX.

Ryan Kost: Suggestion would be to advertise you can get stamps and mail services 24-7 at the kiosk I had to dig to find that out. Also put on the Christmas stamp sign on that kiosk that those are the stamps you get. I wanted those stamps but the kiosk showed the flag stamp, however I did get the Christmas stamps so it's not clear those are the ones you get which I'm happy about but it should be clearer!
Gabriella Romero: Appointment was at 7AM checked in early at Midnight and unloaded within 2 hours. Was able to sleep overnight. Staff there was very nice!

Rachael Singleton: This place is the worst post office around. They are some of the most laziest people. Came in waited 20 minutes because they are ALWAYS short staffed to send a package out. Had the slip and package together. Literally just needed it taped and that was it and the woman refused to do so. Then they wonder why funding looks the way that it does for places like this. I cringe anytime I have to do anything through them.
Jack Donnelly: Toxic work environment with probably the dumbest management. They promote the most useless employees to management, specifically Courtney and Chavoy. They are both completely incompetent. Don't work here for the holidays. They will lie to you when you start and then force you to work 12 hours, 7 days a week. They will fire you if you are sick during COVID. Toxic, incompetent, and immoral.
amanda mckenzie: I used this location (Collins Rd.) twice in the last week.. The first time I was waiting in line with a package and an employee ushered meTo the self service kiosk and offered to walk me through the process.. she wasKind and professional. Today I went to send two more packages and Dena was kind, professional and made my experience pleasant.Kudos to the staff at this location!
randomguy 1: I had to take a damaged item in to be inspected for a claim. They said “we’re not your post office you have to go to the other location”. So I did that, just to be told I was at the right post office the first time and they couldn’t help me. So basically they just didn’t want to take the time to do their job. Hoping I can avoid ever going to this location again they are always rude and not helpful.

Kimberly Hudson (Kimm H.): Never heard of such a place, but I tried it since I was mapped here and I was very surprised at the friendly service from Ms. Deborah? I believe. I will be coming here more often and it's right by the freeway. Not having to get out was awesome, I didn't mind waiting in my car, I had everything ready when I got to the window. The stamp collection for purchase was wonderful! I wanted them all! I didn't give stars due to it being two weeks since I dropped off my package and it still has not been processed as being dropped off/returned so I'm a little worried about that part. I will call the company tomorrow...other than that I love it! Just don't go during lunch or break, I think you'll have to wait until they reopen...

Elizabeth Hager: I searched on Google Maps for a Post Office that I could quickly drop a package off at while running errands between REO Town and Frandor. Saw this location come up, but couldn't place what it looked like or recalled passing it? So I followed the directions and was at first shocked to see the tinest post office ever! Haha. I pulled up to the window thinking oh man they aren't going to allow me to drop this off, and also this box might not fit through the drive thru window...?! So I pulled up, asked and they assured me no problem! Then also smartly reminded me to put into park before passing it through. (Which I already had done actually, but assuming they have had that be a problem there... haha) The woman who helped me was so pleasant and helpful. She asked if I needed stamps and it reminded me that I was getting low at home. I really enjoyed our interaction. Now that I know where this is, I can stop more often!

Michael Frascatore: This is my first time visiting a drive thru post office. It was a really cool and unique experience. I was greeted by Janette at the window and she was very nice and told me this was the only free standing drive thru post office in the country. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area even if you don’t have to mail anything. You could always grab a sheet of stamps as they had quite a few designs to select from. I wish they had more of these around! Thanks Janette for your help today!!

Tina Case: I like this post offices they close is convenient is not big very nice
Conner Gaskins: Called this morning an individual picked up the line and immediately hung up. Called them right back and nobody is answering, as I type this the phone has been ringing for 5 minutes.
Kyle gask: Posted time for “window hours” business is 0830. I got here at 0830 and it is now 0905 in which they are still not open. Waist of time when business hours state they are supposed to be open at 0830.
Marshall Lipe: No bike rack. I rode around in the heat looking for one just to find out all the doors were locked 20 minutes before they close.
Jessica Goodrich: I went here for the first time today, despite years of living in the area. The woman at the counter was amazingly helpful and friendly. I had a couple of products to send back and she advised what would work best and even wrapped the products up for me. She walked me through what to do and gave clear communication on what to fill out, and what would happen next. Plus, the building is beautiful inside.

David McCarthy: I just had to laugh at all the negative reviews. So you're telling me a postal worker was a little rough around the edges? Nooo!! Couldn't be.People feel so unbelievably entitled when it comes to dealing with service workers. I mostly deal with one woman in here, and she always does a good job. She doesn't act like she's bursting with joy to see me, but I treat her with respect, and she treats me with respect. This is an extremely convenient location, well run, and I'm very grateful it's here.
Ronnie Clark: The 2 women who work in this post office lack general customer service skills. They're both rude, condescending, and just not nice in general! Most everyone works, everyone has a job to do, and they should also have to do theirs - and do it politely! Apparently USPS is exempt from that because it seems to be common practice for most of the Post Office employees. No wonder they're "going under...." I have and will continue to use FedEx, UPS, and other couriers when at all possible. I will give the least amount of business I can to USPS.
Shawn Checkeroski: The ladies were both rude and condescending as all get out. Maybe customer service is not their strong suit but good lord were they the worst. Almost embarrassing to hear them speak to other customers. The security men right across the hall were much nicer and their job is probably tougher.

On their website, it states that the front lobby doors are open and unlocked from 9-noon on Saturday (with p.o. closed sat/sun)for those with p.o. boxes be able to check there mail. Drove clear over there, arrived at 11:15am and doors locked. That's false advertising.
Darren Tews: This branch is closed on Christmas Eve Day but all other branches are open which is super annoying. They don't carry any forms for passports either. If it wasn't for my PO Box I wouldn't go here.
Zombie Z: Route # 1269 Mary... never picks up the mail. Walk right past the mail box but delivers to a vacant apt. She was screaming and refusing at first to give her name I told her the neighbors have security cameras and this is going to be easily resolved. Rude lazy women
Wisdom Oly: The cashiers are friendly and honest. I use the counter at least once a month. They always greet me like they know me - like the post office where I grew up. This is amazing for a downtown post office across from the capitol building. I almost never have to stand in line. At Christmas, sure, but otherwise this is the quickest in and out post office in Lansing. Park right out front - put a quarter in the meter for the City.

Amara E.: 4 MONTHS and my problem has NOT been RESOLVED or EXPLAINED!! I have put in no less than 12 requests and complaints about not receiving mail since DECEMBER 2022, I have spoken to NUMEROUS staff and supervisors each month, they have blocked my calls, refused to look into my requests for 4 months. I have gone into this branch twice this week spoken to Supervisor Adam who did not follow up or look into for at least the 2nd time since January and was ignored Tuesday so today, Friday I go in person since Adam's desk blocked my calls and discovered upon speaking to another supervisor MY ORIGINAL REQUEST IN JANUARY WAS NEVER FIXED nor the requests in FEBRUARY or MARCH. No one of doing their jobs here and no one has yet to give my any kind of explanation. You will not get issues resolved at the branch level here.They refuse to answer phones, emails or requests put in via the USPS website but direct you to do everything online so they can ignore it. Avoid This branch if you can. It's taken them 4 months and they'd like you and me to believe it takes over a dozen requests to fix a system error that's coat me money.

J. Hassan: Have lived in East Lansing for close to a year now and the only part I don't like about it is the mail delivery here. By far the worst of the 10 or so places I have lived across the state and US. I buy and sell rare books and prints and they are constantly crammed in my mailbox without any regard to whether or not they fit. I have tried to call the post office countless times and have never once gotten an answer, I have resorted to calling the DeWitt Post Office when I have a question.At this point I generally have my expensive items sent to my brother's house in Lansing so I know they will be delivered safe, but I messed up and had one shipped to my home and sure enough, despite it having a huge DO NOT BEND sticker on it, it was wadded up and crammed in my mailbox, ruining the artwork. So frustrating.

Mitchell Moore: The staff are very helpful. I thought my passport would be lost and they were able to find the package for me and answer my questions.
Chelsea Dee: They helped the person in front of me and then when I pulled up to the window they closed. I had waited in line for a few minutes and there was also someone behind me waiting in line. This was at 2:10 p.m. on Black Friday. I waited a few minutes and when I saw an employee leave the building I asked them if the post office was closed for the rest of the day and they said yes.
Sus Mahmood: I don't know why they have a phone number if they never answer it. I managed to get a hold on someone after calling for days, and he said he'd call me back with an update. No call for 4 more days. So I have been calling them for the last 3 days and they just never pick it up. Disgusted.

Sonia: I receive a monthly subscription box currently and today my box came in, I wasn't home at that time but my bro was. He said that the USPS person asked for $10.95 delivery fee for the box and he hand it to him. I already pay for the shipping, it's included with the monthly fee. I contact them and they said that this problem should be resolved with USPS and that I have already covered shipping. There is something very shady going on with the shipping and postal services around Lansing. My mom ordered a new iPhone and Fedex driver never delivered the phone and they send us an email saying it was delivered. So, it was either stolen by the driver or it was given to a completely different address and it took us DAYS to get it replaced being on the phone 6+ hours. Please don't order anything expensive and just purchase at stores. They have new drivers and they're very careless and they steal!

Was originally a amazon item never had this problem! Now can’t get contact of anyone to find out where my package is and online just says scheduled redelivery for two days ago
Oddzilla James: I did not know that this postal station was here. When I was searching G Maps for the closest drop off location this popped up a mile away. It is tucked back in off the main road Cavanagh on the north side of the street it is other next road west of the laundry mat. It is NOT a full fledged post office. It is used mainly as a drop off/pick up hub for route carriers. They do not sell stamps here. The only service that is provided here is to ring the buzzer next to the locked door and hand them your packages THAT YOU already attached a shipping label or stamps on. Literally a 4 second hand over for your prepaid and labeled packages. No line on the day I was there BUT PLEASE NOTE that there is a elementary school that shares the service drive so watch out for the little 3 foot tall children when you move your 7 foot tall Ford or Chevy truck. You might not e en know they are by your vehicle.

Brittany: The “supervisor” Jessica hung up on me and told me I could either “pick up your mail or it will be held”. I have not requested my mail be held nor have I ever. She’s abusing her power and tampering with mail. I’ve had nothing but issues with this post office. This woman has no business working with mail and she seems like the type of person to steal and say it got lost.

Indigo Nation: Really they should deliver my mail even though my PO box is open. I had to leave it that way for a bit cause the key was getting stuck in it. Now I haven't received mail at all for a week going to go up there and tell them I know and am aware my box is open I check it often and know when the mail guy comes. It's not going to get stolen or sh!t or something. Now I have to drive all the way up to this place to sort it out. What if I had to *vomit* take the bus (meaning I would have to be in the presence of ghetto low life people). They need to put themselves in the shoes of their customers and work harder so some people don't have inconveniences that are unpleasant for them

He had a horrible attitude , didn’t care about the issues I was having with my mail because they are not HIS problems ! He rushed me off the phone and was no help at all ... Alex Parent: Great place. I have been dealing with this exact location for years. They are wonderful. People are always working, and it's apparent from reviews that most folks don't understand how many variables go in to a delayed package. Stop trashing this location and get that it's a major hub for mail and packages. Your stuff is not the only stuff going through there. Not by a longshot. I have had some delays, but mostly, I find that my packages get here way faster than expected in most cases. Millions of pieces of mail travel across the country every day. Try to realize we really are just ants in a bigger world, but these USPS workers actually have to try and manage all the correspondence between us all. They do a tremendous job. Thanks for everything and years of smooth shipping and deliveries.
Aly Rivera: Taking forever to get my package I was supposed to get it Friday it’s now Sunday still nothing. Keeps saying delayed and late. But it’s at this distribution center which is literally a 7 min drive from me. Smfh
Patti: I stopped in today to pick up my sister's mail that was being held and was greeted by the sweetest girl today around 4:15pm or so. I wish I would have got her name. She was so helpful and kind. Not to mention patient while I was getting my sisters information. She complimented me and also told me to be careful as I was leaving (because of the snow). She's a keeper. They're very lucky to have her as an employee!!
Kate Hawkins: Wish they would actually deliver my packages. I just keep getting notified that they’ve decided to hold it instead. Combine this with them having the most inconvenient hours for anyone with a 9-5 and it makes it impossible to get my mail. Please start delivering packages!

I have ordered several other things after the 6th that have all already been delivered. :( I’m really trying hard here to understand, but I do not live anywhere near Michigan so I’m not sure what the deal is up there.
Jeremy Wilson: This is where efficiency ends and packages stall. I understand the USPS has been underfunded for decades and it's only getting worse, but the quality of service is not helping. My current package arrived at 3:30 am on a thursday and left for sorting locally 26 hours later. a Previous package spent 6 days and attempted to leave 3 times before finally making it out. When there is a 4-10 day window on delivery a center like this is probably involved. My package was within 10 miles of my house 40 hours ago, pending delivery in 4 days... That was acceptable 20 years ago, not anymore. Now we have options.

Karan Fortson: Sad state of affairs. Sent a priority mail envelope from Berkeley, Michigan, on 8/21/2018, to Lansing, Mi. Was told expected delivery would be 8/23/2018. I paid $6.70 +$3.00 signature confirmation fee equaling $9.70. Well everything was going well. On 8/22/2918, the Lansing Distribution Center received the envelope. Instead of giving it to the local driver, they sent the envelope to Sylvania, Ohio, on 8/23/2018, the day to be delivered in Lansing. Mi. Now, the letter has been rerouted back to Detroit Distribution Center to start over again. The United States Postal Service sucks at my expense. I tried to call the above local phone number but it is not theirs. Can't trust the post office. Now I want my money refunded.
Dave Runyon: This IS NOT a Post Office!!!! They sell no stamps and accept nothing to post. Too many parking spaces for so little customer interaction. Not a Post Offfice. Only pick up by invitation only.
Jessica Braunscheidel: Deb is great and she is my normal mail carrier but the other guy who delivers to my apartment complex very rarely stops by the leasing office to drop off packages so I have to wait days until they actually get delivered and that is unacceptable! He is rude and lazy!

Almost Athena: Not a full service mail facility, but I’ve made that mistake before so I knew that going in. I went to pick up a package that was sent here because it was too big for the mailbox apparently. There was a $3.00 charge to pick it up and their slip failed to say they don’t accept cards, cash only. Unfortunately this was the only day I got off work before 5 in weeks and I didn’t have cash, so now because I can’t pick it up it’ll probably get returned. Thanks guys!
