Josh Smith: Nice smaller-sized used game shop. Prices are very fair & close to PriceCharting or other online value checking sites. Condition of game cases, especially in glass case areas were fantastic. Employees super friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Lots of cool decorations and conversation pieces you don't necessarily see at other similar shops.
Deidra Miller: My son and I have been going to the Swap Meet for many years. They have everything you could want and if you don't see it on the shelf, ask! There is a good chance they have it or they know who does and can get it for you. Prices are great and the owner is always willing to help us out with our vintage stuff when it misbehaves.

They've set me up with everything from modern TV hook up guidance to a strategy guide for a NES game my grandparents used to play with me when I was a kid.It's clear these guys love what they do and love sharing it with the community. If you're into retro gaming and collectibles you really should pop in, chat, look around, and spend money on things that make you happy.
Jeff Panaka: A fascinating store. They had Fugazi on blast when I came here and a literal deluge of vintage nerd memorabilia spread all about. The vibe was real laid back and I felt no pressure to buy anything. One employee made a bit of small talk about some products but that was it. An eclectic little shop in the heart of Lansing. 5/5.

Dewang Shah: I usually prefer supporting local but the game prices here are just too steep. Prices are much better in stores like disc traders, gamestop, and even ebay(with shipping combined). I visited these stores and also checked the game prices online on the very same day. I was also offered a very low amount for selling my games, so I took my business elsewhere and got offered better prices. Gonna get my games delivered cheaper to home rather than visiting here. Damion Farnum: The place to go for vintage games and systems. The team was awesome and very well informed about the products they were selling. If one was not sure, then they would get the right guy for the answer. I can't believe I missed out on shopping here for so long. They have a great selection of games for a large variety of systems. Give this place a try. Their prices are reasonable, and the hard to find games and systems are priced to sell and not take you to the bank. I only have one wish, and that was that they were open on Sundays. That's not their fault, just my schedule. Plus they need time off to see their family also. Keep up the great deals and awesome memories from your vintage game stock.

Jake Pope: Definitely a must stop for anyone in the video game hobby. I live in the Grand Rapids area but make a point to make a trip out to Lansing just to stop here. I'm an amateur collector and though I haven't been around the world this place is by far my favorite for stock, price and customer service, I'd wager even one of the best anywhere. Owner is super cool, very knowledgeable, and honest and always has a treasure or two. 10/10 would visit again.

Dale Shattuck: I have been a customer of Gamestop for over 13 years. Today, for my Sister's birthday, I took her to get a collectable Pokemon light that she wanted. Everything proceeded normally. However, when we got the light home, I tried to install batteries, only to find that the screw holding the battery cover was defective and could not be removed.I decided to return to Gamestop and simply ask to exchange the defective item for AN EXACT DUPLICATE from the shelves. I was informed that Gamestop's "new policy" is to not allow returns or exchanges on their items. This was obviously very upsetting, as I have never been to a single retail establishment which doesn't allow for exchanges in cases where the product is defective, and there is no reasonable way to know for sure that a product will work without opening it.The assistant manager, Liam, gave me a customer service number, and allowed me to use the phone to call them. I was informed by the pandering customer service corporate drone that there was nothing they could do. I demanded to speak with the drone's supervisor, and waited more than TWENTY MINUTES on a silent line for some kind of response. The supervisor spoke with Liam, and basically said that the only thing he could do was to contact the store manager, who would then contact me in SEVEN TO TEN BUSINESS DAYS.Obviously I was incredibly upset by this. Gamestop's policy basically seems to be that if you buy a product from them and it doesn't work, barring the purchase of one of their warranties (which isn't even offered on lower-priced collectibles), you're screwed if your product doesn't work.The ONLY reason this is not at one-star review is because Liam was extremely patient with me and did everything he could to help, even making an exception to help me out, as he understood my being upset. Afterall, this was a birthday present for my sister.If anyone in corporate, or even the store manager reads this, then I have only this to say: You need to do everything you can to take care of Liam. If not for him, this unethical and unreasonable policy would have cost you a lot more than the sale of a thirty dollar piece of plastic. LIAM is the sole bright spot in this story, and I wish him all the best for all his help.For everyone else: Buyer beware. Know that if you purchase anything from this company, barring any kind of warranty purchase, you have NO current recourse to protect yourself!EDIT: One month has passed. The franchisee was supposed to contact me within 1 week. I have never received any contact from them. For that reason I am downgrading to a 1-star review for this store's piss poor conduct. Once again, Liam is the only highlight.

I saw a flash at the register as he was peeling off the sticker price of 79.99. I told him it rang up wrong he said too late and it was my fault for not catching it. I pointed to the other three boxes with the same price he said it will still be the 79.99 go online if you want it cheaper. I asked to speak to his supervisor he said I am the store manager. Call customer service but i dont know the number. I will be returning the game. I had to go back to work and he had rang up another customer. Is this the norm for GameStop? Dont see myself going back

Michael Jackson Jr: So I have been doing business with this store since it opened and I have found the customer service has gone downhill. I'm sorry to say this to the owner Billy, but when he had hired this guy Kendrick, it was a huge mistake and it gave me a bad view of the store. Kendrick made the shopping experience bad and apparently still has control of the Facebook website, so I have been blocked because Kendrick seems to have issues. They do not answer their phones during business hours so I have no way of reaching out to them. I have found that the consoles they sell are junk and that they don't bother to clean them up. I literally have to take a loss by reselling it on Marketplace for less than I paid because they do not offer cash refunds and will only offer a replacement which is still a junk unit. I am also a rewards member and was supposed to get a Christmas gift with the membership, but that never happened. I am just done dealing with them. I have given them 2 chances and both times they have disappointed me. I doubt they will ever refund me my rewards membership because I have no use for it. Avoid this place and shop at The Swap Meet store on Michigan Ave. At least you won't be disappointed!

Nexus Arc: Bought a game(Gotcha Force) from one of their resellers on facebook marketplace, it took them nearly 2 weeks to ship, and when it arrive, the game came scratched. I asked if they tested it, and I don't know if something happened in transportation or if they lied but as it stands I just lost 330$.I contacted them on Facebook but I have no way of having purchase insurance, and Facebook Claims after multiple days is no help.

L W: This company is a scam. It has been over 2 weeks and the game I purchased still hasn’t arrived. I bought it through Facebook marketplace. I called several times and was finally told it shipped a week ago but they can’t provide me with a tracking number. I have emailed 4 times and sent messages through Facebook and I still get no response. Now the past 3 days no one answers the phone. Horrible service and it seems like nobody knows what’s going on when it comes to shipping out a purchase I paid for on day one. I paid for the product and they never sent it and took my money and re listed it for sale.

Andrew Tuma: Small space with a large lot quite a bit amount of games, but nothing stood out because I am pocky. Priced at market, not many things were condition of what I thought that price for sun damage and scratch. some things that looked interesting I couldn't find a price tag on and didn't want to bother anyone to find out a price because I was worried it would be expensive. There was a lot of things posted in recent pictures that were nowhere to be found, maybe they sold to customer quickly but the place didn't look much like the pictures online. I was bummed to come from out of town for the first time to find they were closing the business, it looked kinda picked though and I didn't find anything but I'm sure they have good things come through. I wish I would have come early but it is far away to me. I hope you good luck for the future.
Tyler Chance: I had a great time here they have many old consoles and games ranging from Atari to newer games on the xbox one, ps5, and Nintendo switch. I personally bought a few gamecube games as that was my first console and I still play it even today. The workers are very helpful and will give you the best deals and advice.

Big shout out to Larry, Sam, and the bearded red headed gentleman whose name I have forgotten. They are superb. Great prices, friendly atmosphere, and a wide selection of products to suit your hobbies. If you’re in the area, drop in to say hey and crack some packs.

Eric Brockway (Bruke): They have a small selection of board games and ttrpgs. They have a good space for public gaming, including many pieces of 3D terrain. Miniatures skirmish games seems to be their focus and their selection supports that flavor of gaming quite well.
Michelle Biggs: Lots of fun to meet new people and the tables for different games are one of the main reasons for coming. Generally supplies needed are around and if they aren't the staff is open to orders. Wonderful place all around. Bathrooms can definitely be cleaner though... yuck.

Josh Smith: Probably the best place to play in the Lansing area. Tons of tables and back rooms. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Board game and wargaming/D&D selection not as large as Summit downtown but still decent. Patrons usually welcoming and there is a public board available to post on by the front door if you're looking for a group.

白君德: Came here twice for their Friday night casual commander Magic the Gathering sessions. Lots of tables and people playing (probably 2 dozen or a little more). Lots of friendly people. I would definitely come back here!
