Ther Richardson Sr.: We purchased a new water softener from mohres, and while they did a clean install of the new system, they only did half the work on the work order and did not return. We called and left a message asking that they completed and the person we talked to said that they would have someone call us. It never happened. Call the week later asking for someone to contact us so that we could get the work completed and it never happened. Not going to bother with a third time. I'll just do the rest of the plumbing myself but that level of service does not impress me.

Patricia W: I recently had one of their units installed in my newly built home; when I noticed "dirty" water and ice cubes, I checked the unit and discovered they had never turned the unit on. Ben came out and checked to make sure all was working as it should. The water seemed to improve but then I noticed after a month that the ice cubes and water started looking "dirty" again as well as a sulphur smell (which was not present before). I tried calling the company and leaving a msg, texting Ben, as well as emails with no response for a month. I finally reached a live person, John, who made excuses about never receiving my voicemail or emails but that he would set up an appointment for Ben to come out when he returned from vacation. We set up an appointment for Monday, April 24. Monday came and went with a no show and no call from Ben or the company. I contacted the company via email on Tuesday the 26th and asked that someone call me to reschedule. No response. I called and left a voicemail on Monday May 1. No response. I called again and reached John on May 3 who didn't remember who I was or what my concerns were even though we had spoken in mid-April and I had emailed and left voicemails. He then said that he has 50-60 customers a day so can't possibly remember everyone. I told him that was no excuse and that I worked for a company for 25 years as the front person for a family owned company. I never made excuses if we messed up and I always immediately followed through. This has yet to happen even though John said he would text Ben right away and have him call me. Apparently I fell for a sales pitch - about the company being local and family owned, etc. I am now researching other water softening companies to come out and see if there is anything that can be done about my water. If you want a slick sales pitch, Ben is your guy. If you want service, I suggest finding a more reputable company.

I am very thankful for that.When I had questions, Bruce explained everything. Before leaving he gave me a review of everything I needed to know, the basic version per my request. And his team did a very delicate work in my home and installed the filter very steady at a proper location. Lisa Holloway: I live in the country and have really hard water. We have a water softener and filters on our faucets, but the water always clogs our coffee machines. My neighbor told me about the Culligan water service for drinking water. They bring us our water jugs monthly, and we use these now for drinking and use in our coffee maker. I've yet to replace our coffee maker, and it's been a year since we purchased the one we're using. Great service, trusting delivery drivers who take our used jugs and replace with new each monthly delivery. We only use 3-4 jugs a month, and the bill is less than $20 for water and delivery. No more having to buy water and carrying the jugs from the store to home. We no longer have residue in the bottom of our drinking glasses. I wish we would have done this sooner.

Douglas Ekholm: I like knowing I'm ingesting as clean and pure water as possible. I rely on the periodic water filter exchange so I don't have to keep track of the timing of it. I make sure my many plants received the same consideration.

George Cole: I've been a Culligan Customer for a while and I have over the years had trouble with a part to the Softener. They have answered my calls and serviced it and got it going again.My Softener is in my basement and their salt delivery is the best. They have certain delivery days set up and they call to tell me that they will be there at a certain day of that week and want to know if I want the delivery or reschedule for a different day. I'm 75 I can't carry that salt down the stairs to the basement. The delivery man does it and fills the softener up. Very polite and I have got to be around some of them for awhile very friendly and have a good sense of humor.Why would I change this for something else.Thank you Culligan for being a considerate business .

Bob U: Incredible!! I have been in NW Livingston County since 2005 fighting water issues and HIGH iron content. I would joke, "You can pick my water up with a magnet" everything was orange, sink, shower, toilets, clothes - it was awful and I had resigned to the fact I had to live with it or move because I had a Culligan system installed when I moved in and it never did the job. I ran into Paul just before Christmas 2022 and he convinced me he could solve my problems so I met with him and his staff the next day with a water sample at their office. He had a crew install the new system and remove the old the NEXT day and I am shocked at how amazing it has worked. So much simpler than the other system and has literally changed my world. I was buying drinking water and cleaning weekly trying to keep up with the staining. and yes I did get the drinking water system and it makes the best coffee( I have a little coffee roasting operation side hustle)Even my water pressure got significantly better. not to mention the two gentleman that came to install the system were awesome. super informative and helpful and they were done in about an hour taking the old system away with them.if you have well water or water issues of any kind I cannot say enough how much this made a difference. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. Call Wolverine and get it done right. Save yourself the trouble I had with the other systems out there.

A F: Wow. Well water can be nasty. Wolverine was the third company I had come out. All said we had hard hard water but it was Wolverine who out their reputation on the line and exceeded all expectations. Eric knows his water and informed us of what we needed AND advised as to what products we don’t need. No upselling just honest and truthful as if it were his house.This is indeed a true TREATMENT SYSTEM and not just a “water softener”. Now that I know and experience the difference I will let everyone know.And as a bonus the wife won’t stop talking about her hair and how great it is. Also the money saved on laundry and dish detergent is incredible!

Chris Cowen: Absolutely appalled by the door to door salesman tactics that almost took my 85 year old, partially senile neighbor lady for $4400. The cost of a similar system installed should only be around $2000. To beat all that, the system she has is a good one that just needed to be regenerated and reprogrammed. There's a place waiting for con men like that. Luckily I caught them and had the service and check canceled. Very shady to say the least.

Nick Hufnagel: This company installe a new system that was supposed to last 20+ years. It has only been 9 years and they have returned once after 6 years to repair the system and charged me ~300 labor to do the work. Now they show up for a complimentary/unrequested inspection to tell me the system is not working again. I had observed no problems with the water. They wanted $2500 to repair. After having another company inspect and test, they found my water and system tested good without issues. I will go elsewhere for any work needed. They are not only expensive, they are dishonest.

N S: Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. It was so nice when Becky called that they could come out and check our system no charge. I was thinking that about a week ago we should call them out to check our system. Good thing because we had to replace a tank due to our well having to be repaired. Bill Levine was very thorough and knowledgeable on checking out our system. Nick came the next day to replace tank. He also was very nice and knowledgeable. I needed the osmosis filtering system to create more drinking water and in two days it was done, even though I live out in the middle of nowhere I would highly recommend them if your water smells or tastes bad.

On the front end, Eric came in and reviewed our water situation without any pressure and was awesome to speak to and work with.On the install end, the installation was scheduled quickly and the installer was awesome. He was respectful of our house as he came in and out with the old and new equipment.We previously had a wolverine system in our house, two houses ago. At that house, after we purchased it, we called in wolverine, not knowing who they were at all, to come in and let us know what kind of system we had and if we needed anything. We had never had a treatment system or well water. They said that the system was doing great and that we did not need anything except to keep adding salt - no pressure to add to or get anything new.I would definitely recommend Wolverine for your water needs, based on our past two experiences. The experience was quick, easy and painless (and my wife was happy too...both times...for what that is worth;)

J C: I waited over a year to give this review because I wanted to be sure the water treatment system I had installed was going to be worth the money.I live in a rural area with well water that is exceptionally hard. Over the years I have had a couple of different water softener systems. They worked Ok, but there would always be traces of rust stains that would appear in the toiler tank and around the shower wall and floor areas.I can say after more than a year of having the Wolverine water treatment system, there hasn't been a trace of a rust stain on the toilet or shower stalls. It is a more expensive system, but for me the investment was well worth the money.If you are wondering why I only gave four stars, it was not because of the price. It had to do with the finance company. I originally was going to pay the whole price for the system up front, but the sales rep wanted me to pay through their finance company and said when I got the invoice I could pay off the whole price at that time. Unfortunately, I didn't get the invoice until three weeks later and there was a finance charge from the finance company included on the invoice. I assume that Aqua Finance is the parent company of Wolverine and this is the reason the local people are proposing that you purchase their system through the finance company.By the way I am using much less salt than I did with the other traditional water softener systems I had previously used. So, bottom line, the water treatment system works great and for me is worth the money. If you do want to pay up front or finance from a different company you may want to make that a negotiation point in purchasing the system.
