sarah finello: This place doesn’t truly impress me. Sometimes I have great service and sometimes it’s ok. I have never got the makeup done with my eyebrow wax as said in the description, however they don’t ever offer me products and I like that a lot

I would have an appointment booked with a specific person then be seen by someone else when I showed up, with no explanation. I had waxed somewhere else before for several years, so knew what to expect. The wax here was too hot, applied with poor technique, and gave me so many ingrown hairs. I think the final straw was when someone did it crooked. After giving my skin a break a tried a new-ish business in East Lansing, they’re much more knowledgeable. Deneen McGeorge: Love this place. I always spend to much. But I always see new products i want to try. Or see if we can bring into my store. Best place to go if you are a licensed stylist
Haley Fancher: Usually nice. Not enough people working though. It takes me forever to get in and out when I already know what I need. I usually wait 5-25 minutes between getting in line and leaving even if no one else is there.

Linnette Porter: Sunday at 3:30 and I had to find someone to help me. She was no where to be found. I had to say something to get their attention, in the back room. She Didn’t know if they carried what I was asking for. We walked down the aisle that I already had been walking down. First and last visit.

They are always dishing out information which helps me be the best stylist I can be. They care about their job, all the customers, and it shows! The store is well kept and clean as well!
Victoria Barnett: I’ve been in there twice and the first time everyone was very helpful. The girl was super nice and answered all of my questions and more. However, the second time, the woman working talked to both me and my fellow classmate as if we were children. I did not catch her name, but she had short red hair, was heavyset, and wore glasses. She was very condescending whenever she was asked questions. Seeing as we are students, we are not as informed and wanted more information about certain products, but she seemed as if my questions were an inconvenience to her. I love the store and the prices, but not this particular experience.

Patti: I went to the store the last 2 days and there was a sign on the door saying they are closed due to unforeseen circumstances but would be open Monday. Yesterday the store was dark and empty but today people were in the store but the doors were locked and not open like they said they were going to be with a different sign on the door!! Are they going out of business?? Pretty inconvenient!!

Cristina Whitehouse: I stopped in a few nights ago, although an employee offered her help, she acted like she was being put out by talking to me... I felt really weird about the entire visit, and experienced a much better visit elsewhere. This was so very disappointing, I've been to a few Sallys locations and I've never been treated this way (I'd understand if it was 15 minutes before close or something but my visit was 3 hours before close).I also noticed the lighting in here is strange, you cannot see color swatches very well. This store needs some attention.

I watched all the brad mondos (lol) I tried it all and I was literally so embarrassed to come in but this girl with pretty eye makeup (I didn’t see her name tag!!!) she gave me exactly what I needed and it turned out PERFECT!!!! thank you so much and she was so nice. Marley Kratzer: I have been coming to this location for years and i’ve always had a great experience. I dye my hair purple with semipermanent dye, so it requires a lot of upkeep to make sure it looks fresh. Today’s visit was particularly wonderful! Koda and Reed provided excellent customer service, and provided myself and other customers with great product recommendations while still trying to save us money. I hope that management sees this, you guys have a real dream team on your hands!

I need an item I can only seem to get at sallys and it’s pretty frustrating when your stores doors are locked at 4pm with no notes on the door about Mondays? and not one employee will answer the phone any day I’ve called this week. Super unfortunate.
