Movie TV Tech Geeks News: I have been a loyal Liquid Web customer for over 12 years, but they have instituted changed over the past year that has even got their tech department complaining. Their latest billing change now makes it so that customers who don't pay their bill one day after it is created are considered 'overdue' by Liquid Web.They have gone from a Net 15 days company to Net 0 and are requiring customers to put in some form of payment card or Paypal account number in the account which is then forced into AutoPay. I spoke directly with an Account Services Specialist and had this confirmed. By forcing customers to put a credit card or Paypal, they will then bill you immediately on day bill is created. Even companies as bad as Xfinity give you 30 days to pay your bill.As I had an old credit card listed on my account I received a scary e-mail stating that if I didn't immediately pay my bill, my service would be disconnected. I have paid the same way for 12 years and now Liquid Web is saying you must pay immediately or else we will cut you off. This is why they are now losing customers and gaining the reputation hey have.It's sad as they were the only hosting company our news site promoted.

Robert Busek: 03/14/2023 update: Liquidweb has been unresponsive in spite of their promise to involve management in addressing our complaint. We are forwarding documents to our attorney and anticipate a filing in our local Small Claims Court later this week. We will continue to update Trustpilot and Google Reviews until this matter is resolved.03/08/2023 We use Liquidweb cloud sites service. I feel they offer a quality product in terms of uptime and speed. However I have been frustrated by their Customer Service Department regarding the amount of our monthly invoices. The problem is that we have had two line items on our invoices for well over 5 years that apparently no one at the company could correctly explain. This week tech support finally gave us the answer- we have been paying for services on sites we are no longer even hosting. In 5 years we have been over charged by $4,440.00.These charges are for MSSQL storage and SSL certificates. Over the years we have questioned these line items, but we were never told they were for inactive websites. We were only told that they were necessary charges.On Jan 12, 2023 we opened up ticket number 11600106 to address possible overcharges. We were notified that only 1 person in the company handled potential cost reductions. Even though we have followed up at least 5 times, we have not heard a single word from this person.We are beginning to suspect that Liquidweb purposely overcharges clients.We placed a phone call to Liquidweb sales and got a new price quote for the services we are currently receiving. The quote for new service was issued in minutes. The prices on the new quote would save our company over $1700.00 a year.The purpose of this review is to finally get someone’s attention at Liquidweb. We are willing to stay with them at a renegotiated price. Hopefully current and possible future Liquidweb clients can benefit from our story.

Owen Piccirillo: I moved from MediaTemple to Liquid Web when MT was being migrated to Godaddy. I am not a fan of Godaddy as I was really trying to find a great alternative that had support, backups and Plesk for a reasonable price ( I pay around $350/m ) for a server that has a lot of high specs for the price range. I am VERY happy with them so far, their support has been very helpful and they seem... like a real grounded company ( I hope they never sell to godaddy like MT did, MT GD sux! )

Jackson Whelan: I miss Rackspace. These guys sure know how to botch a transition and make a reseller beg for mercy.Update: the transition was brutal, but they've been a reliable host for the most part since then, and the support staff is generally great.
Silencio Nomus: I had five services with another host since 2008. Service was supremely excellent and I couldn't be happier. Then, that host sold all their accounts to Liquid. I trusted their decision, so I gave Liquid an honest chance, despite a three-fold increase in cost. After three months of mistakes and lacklustre service, I pulled everything from them.
Mark G: When there is an issue they're support is Johnny on the spot.
Scott Tom: I honestly don't think I was here. Maybe I drove near it and was at the stop light long enough for Google maps to count it, so I feel like, giving Liquid Web the benefit of the doubt, I should probably give it a five-star review. Only seems fair.

Typical reasons for this include IP blacklisting, previous problematic account status or problems with the address or name listed on the order.The only response I received after placing an almost 1k prepaid 2 year order, would have been nice to have a specific reason or someone call. Not even dealing with it, just going to webhostingtalk to find a company that appreciates the business.
Craig D: Worst company I've ever worked with for hosting.They are great right up until you sign up.Once you sign up their support is the WORST, they will take several days to a week to reply and when they do they halfway resolve any kind of issue and you'll be in an endless cycle of opening support tickets.We have had technical problems with them that went on for years never resolved until we finally cancelled and went elsewhere. Overpriced for what they deliver as well.I was even an affiliate for them had several clients sign up that kept their hosting for a year and I was never paid!Stay away from this company they are a complete waste of time and money and you'll always get the runaround when their servers fail.ZERO stars!
