Emily Sonnenberg: Ian took amazing care of us! We got there a couple mins early but he was ready for us right away. He took our internet down from $140 to $40. He also transferred our phone service with our same phone number from Verizon to Xfinity mobile very quickly and smoothly. Ian also got us the best deal possible when we traded in our phones to upgrade the iPhone 14 Pro. Ian explained every detail in an easy way for us to understand and made sure we fully understood all of the fine print. We are now saving $200 per month on our internet and phone service! We could not be happier! 100% recommend this Xfinity service center and especially the employee who worked with us, Ian!

Ellen Jesko: They will put a ton of screw holes in your siding and leave the outside of your house with wires hanging from the previous install. Be aware that they don't use calk so you will have leaks and carpenter ants. If I did want the wires off my house I will now have holes in my siding. They dont explain this before hand either. Never again. Thanks Xfinity and Comcast.

Hailey Amarie: I asked about turning my equipment in due to having to stay in the hospital because of my disease they said I could absolutely turn it in. It took around 3 minutes and I thought it was super easy. What I’m upset about is no one ever told me about a huge cancellation fee of any kind before I signed the recipt for turning in my modem. Now I’m stuck with an over $300 fee that continues to be charged every month while I’m in the hospital. I’m so stressed out over this.

Mark: Went to talk to someone to reduce my bill. My first attempt I used their appointment scheduler, was in the parking lot when I got my 15 min alert and checked in. Over the next hour of waiting I saw 3-4 people that came in after me get helped so I left and came back the next day when they opened. Anxiously waiting for a fiber alternative to arrive in my neighborhood so I can drop them.

Stephen Fiddie: The store employees were nice. This one star is for Comcast Xfinity. I had 6 months left on my promo, when I went over the internet data limit, I decided to add the unlimited option. It cancelled my promo when it shouldn't have and customer service said they can't fix it. Only option was to pay more for either an upgrade or downgrade and still pay more. This company is cancer, to large to actually care about it's customers and offering new customers extremely large discounts over loyal customers is a backward approach to retaining sales and brand image.

Jack Hurlbut: I just came in today to buy me some home internet, had an appt for 4:15. The employee sent a "confirmation text" to my phone which was just a webpage asking for a credit/debit card to pay the $50 deposit because they don't trust us as customers. After I paid that the employee was experiencing technical difficulties with the system and could not get my account set up. Over an hour had passed and I was frustrated as I work all week and didnt want to spend my evening in that store. I just wanted to get my card refunded for my $50 they took from me, but that took another 30 minutes after they contacted their online support team. In the end, I still did not receive my refund and was told "they would zero out my account" and I left empty handed with no internet. Companies are very quick to take your money, but providing the service or returning their money proves to be very difficult for them. Comcast has had a terrible reputation for mistreating customers for years, and I was foolish for giving them a chance.

les vanalstine: While I complain about the cost of my xfinity service every month, today was the first time I went into the store in Eastwood Towne Center. I sat my remote on the fireplace and it melted! I went to the retail store expecting to have to deal with a "robot" person, poor service, etc.. I was promptly greeted with smiles from everyone, they chuckled about my melted remote, gave me a new one and treated me with respect and a valued customer.I was not expecting such friendly knowledgeable service. I would go back just to say hi and enjoy their spirit!
M L: No help. You can't get any assistance at this store because it is only for sales. You can't get assistance if you call Xfinity because of high call volume or if you get through your call is cut off.
Caroline: Xfinity is great if you never leave.Tried to cancel my service in the store the guy who helped me took my box and did nothing else, said I was good. Called customer service the following week and found my service still on. Had another month of fees and huge hassle to cancel the mobile account.

He was very kind, personable and patient. He fixed my wifi and even updated it to make sure it would run as fast as it could. He even created a guest wifi for my friends to log onto when they come over. For my direct tv he made sure everything was running properly. He was very thorough and I was so thankful he was able to help me out. He even told me to not hesitate to reach out in the future if I have any other problems. Thank you so much Jose!

Emily Minardi: Could not be happier with our stay. Had a big group and lots of kids. Everyone was so gracious. Patrick went out of his way to organize everything and even cleaned our room and switched sheets when needed. Gail was amazing in the evenings - so accommodating and sweet to the kids. Next door is an amazing market with a beer garden and great pizza and Thai food. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn!

SMR: The rating is based on expectations and standards given the hotel name and location.Pros:- Check in staff was very welcoming. She was a colorful energetic person.- room looked overall good and well organized- bed was big and comfy.- prime locations to lots of restaurants- interior decor of hotel was vibrant and modern- option to tip housekeeping through scanning bar code- it has a gym! It was clean with cardio machines and free weights- hallways looked nice. Could use air freshener- 24/7 teas and coffee at lobbyCons- check out staff was not friendly. The staff night before said we could have late check out “no problem”. No fee was mentioned. When I asked morning Saturday staff she said “it would be extra charge”. ?!?!- room closet was very dirty. jennfer elise: I've only been there to do open swim.The pool seemed fine, but for some reason, there was very loud music playing, which I'm sure contributed to my 19 month old granddaughter being nervous. Kids playing loudly was totally expected, but the loud music was unnecessary.Plan to try again because we'd like to get her into swimming lessons.There also wasn't any clear signage about changing areas or anything. Just signs saying to shower first, but the shower water was ice cold, and the door didn't lock either. Hopefully, we just went to the wrong place.I'll definitely be looking into other options. Basically, we went through a lot (getting everything together, buying new swim diapers, loading up, driving, and paying money) just to be disappointed.
Kara Grace: Cost effective gym option if you want to swim! My favorite work out is lap swimming, but the options are scarce in the Lansing area unless you want to pay a high cost or are lucky enough to live close to the Alfreda Schmidt Center (free lap swims!!). I found this community center near my home and with a payment plan as an out of district resident I pay $25 monthly for access to the pool and to the gym! The gym has minimal equipment and is fairly small, but it works for my desire to get active and try some things out. The pool is gorgeous and always fairly warm, the locker rooms are also well maintained.

Hien Dalat: Wow, I experienced a lot of 'first's here. Firstly, a lady who helped me preserve two swim slots, while being friendly, preserved two slots in April when it's already May. They sent me a receipt with zero charged. I thought it was free. Then the night before my swim time, I realized the mistake, I called but couldn't reach anyone. I tried to fix it with my account online - I was told my account was already registered - but none of the passwords worked. So I asked the system for a password retrieval email. None came. So I decided to come in the next day still, hoping that it's just a weird typo on the receipt. Nope, she actually reserved a day in the past for me. When I explained the situation to the lady at the front desk, she gave no apology at first, she had the audacity to lecture me to check the receipt. Hold up, what kind of software do you use that allows you to preserve past events?? This is a first. Does it still make sense to you that this is still my fault if you preserved a date in 2020 for me?? I had to stop her half way to ask that question. I had to stop her to explain what I tried in vain to reverse the situation. After 20 minutes, she said she's sorry. That should be the first thing that should have come out of her mouth. Because this is still firstly your responsibility. This is not how you do business, letting your customers check for your mistakes.I was really upset, called in to get a supervisor. I got someone who could squeeze me in at 2pm. The front desk lady who lectured me about what time to call in to get issues resolved? Well I called twice to get voicemail. Ok, don't lecture me then. I got there at 2pm, being told I had to pay. Ok, paying is no problem. The problem is the fact that no one had told me, not the lady who helped me preserve the time. What if I don't carry my card with me? I do that when I don't expect to spend. You're getting way too comfortable with the people around here that you assume everyone is in line. There are transitional people; this is a college town, mind you.After my swim, I found out there was no swimsuit drying machine. This is the third first. Never have I been in a swimming center that has no such machine.Three inconvenient incidents within a day is enough for me to pass on using this center again.
