Took my plane in for a pitot static and line cutters update to these guys and they we’re great. Luke and Jeff were very professional and friendly. They addressed my concerns with the fact that I wanted to wait for the repair so I did not have to make two trips and have someone pick me up. They were very accommodating. John Bogdasarian: Brought my 2016 Bonanza here to be checked out for pre buy. They told me that my G 1000 had synthetic vision. Then, after I took delivery and figured out it wasn’t working, they told me I needed a new activation card and charged me $5000+ for it. As it turns out, the synthetic vision unlock card was in with the manuals. When I found it and brought it to them, they just said it was my problem. They won’t refund me the money for my card. In addition, they completely missed that the HVAC system in the plane was completely inoperable. That was a $4000 fix that the seller should’ve paid for but I got stuck with because they missed it on the inspection. They’re not very good at returning calls, and they don’t seem to care about your business.

Flight instructor Larry took us up and did a fantastic job regarding everything from safety to pointers on how to fly the plane.The folks at Contact Aviation displayed casual personal demeanor, while maintaining absolute professionalism regarding the flight itself.I was both excited and just a little nervous about the flight, but they showed remarkable skill and critical attention to detail, which put me at ease.Everyone seemed happy, and It was obvious that our flight instructor loved what he was doing.Larry guided me though some gentle maneuvers, while patiently explaining exactly what we needed to do.Piloting an aircraft is a very busy task, yet Larry made it look easy, and believe me it isn't!During our second landing, there were intermittent strong crosswinds, so Larry had to abort the landing only a few feet from the ground.He calmly pulled up, circled back around, and made a successful landing--while contesting with that nasty crosswind.If you want to go on a discovery flight, or learn to fly, I think Contact Aviation would be a great place to learn.
