M Lesin: One of our maple kitchen doors suffered serious full length split from top to bottom with an additional smaller fracture. There were no replacement doors available any longer. I was looking for a cabinet maker who might do custom work and, along the way, had one recommend Daviddi Antiques for a possible repair.As soon as they looked at it they were 100% certain they could fix it so I left it with them as I didn't have any other real options.They turned it around quicker than promised with near flawless work. Only the slightest blemish still exists. There is simply no way to look at it and believe what it looked like before they put humpty dumpty together again.Was it cheap? No. Probably a bit more than I anticipated but, having seen the end result, I'd have no reservation taking additional work to them. Skilled craftsmen are difficult to find these days but you will find them here. This customer is very impressed, grateful and relieved. A big THANK YOU!

Heiner Schwutke: It was not easy to find a reputable place to refinish our antique oak table top plus 7 chairs that we had shipped from Europe ( family heirlooms).Daviddi Antiques did a great job in assessing the condition of the furniture and suggested a refinishing option. They seemed to truly enjoy working on our furniture. Pricing was adequate and time to finish was also ok, mostly due to letting the finish dry correctly. The table turned out beautiful and the chairs were reglued and are sturdy again!. See for yourself!

Pamela Beebe: I called to ask a question on how to take care of some antique furniture and he told me to basically Google it. He doesn't teach classes on how to take care of this type of furniture. So I found him kind of rude.

Palma Ciavattone: It was a pleasure working with Frank on having my furniture and wall repaired, which was damaged during a move. There were noticable cracks in the headboard and dining room table. He fixed them so well that I can't even see where the damages were. There was fabric missing from the leather couch and now it looks great. The bedroom wall had a long gouge and he was even able to repair that with no problem. Frank arrived on time and was very efficient in fixing all of the damages. If I need furniture repair again, I will definitely contact Frank.

Stephanie Massey: Got a quote in 2020. Saved my money. Called to schedule in May of 2021. Told me I was on top of the list.I had a written quote. Lol. I’m still waiting and it’s January of 2022. I called a dozen times and was told someone would get back to asap. For sure the 1st week in December 2021. Still waiting. Terrible customer service. Found another reliable company.

Contacted multiple times over the course of weeks and not one response. Ended up cancelling the purchase order and finding another company to repair our chairs. All it would have taken was a simple email stating that they were no longer interested in doing the repairs... not the way to do business, especially since they've done repairs for us in the past and we were pleased.
Michelle Ferrari: Bob is a liar and a cheat. He never contacted me when, in his opinion, my antique cabinet could not be repaired. His delivery men claimed it was warped when manufactured. Realy?? He charged the 3rd party insurance company for repair. Go elsewhere.

Joey Bleu: i had been looking for a reputable furniture repair shop. i often let nature find people for me. i cannot explain how that works it just does. so somehow i found these people. they are top drawer professionals with a commitment to details. first I gave them two chairs which was pretty easy. they did a wonderful job. Then i took them two nightstands whose tops were ruined by a humidifier. I just got the night stands back the stain matches perfectly. Randy the owner has a rare talent. He can match stain without a computer!!!! Today they delivered the nightstands. Its a very small family business. I grew up in a family business. I enjoy doing business with the little guy. now they have a cherry-wood table . it might take them a few months to get it back to me. One cannot rush quality.

They were not polite at all and they made me feel like my need for help to fix the legs on a couch with a burden to them and told me repeatedly that they are very busy and maybe I should go to this person or that person. Marc Halliburton: My grandmother passed away and I inherited her 120 year old Singer sewing machine. The sewing machine was kept in an unfinished basement, and over her years, the cabinet was in horrible disrepair. To me, this was a family heirloom that needed to survive and live on. Stuart took on restoring this to a condition that I think may even be better than it was when it was built in 1899. Stuart is a very talented and humble man, that has talent beyond words. He has given me something much more than a sewing machine. Do not give a second thought to get anything restored or refinisher with Second Wind. The finished product is just beautiful. And interacting with Stuart is a real pleasure as well. He is a top notch gentleman.
