Barb K: I have used Nexgreen for probably 8 years now. My lawn has always looked great until the last couple of years. Last year 2021 I called them because my lawn was looking really bad and noticed I was also skipped one month. They came out to look at my lawn and agreed that it did look bad and were very apologetic about missing one of my applications. They ended up giving me some free services (aeration and seeding) in hope that my lawn would look better in 2022. I decided to stay with them since they stepped up for the mishap and were going to try and get my lawn looking good again. Well 2022 came and it was looking OK, but I noticed both my neighbors lawn on both sides were much greener than mine. On September 21, 2022 I looked up my service dates and the last time I was serviced was July 27, 2022 . Once again my service was skipped and my lawn has suffered because of it. I called them on September 21th and they said I was scheduled to be done ASAP. I decided to cancel their service. In the beginning years my grass looked like a golf course. I’m not sure if they changed their fertilizer formula in the past two/three years, but something has definitely changed and my lawn has suffered for it.Service:Weed control

K: The employees at NexGreen are awesome. I found them through The Spider Guy adverts, which is a business they purchased. Sue, the office manager is so nice and very responsive. I sent two emails with questions and she called me within minutes of sending them because she thought more questions would come up so talking would be the best form of communication and she was correct. The sales guy was very nice and he did not try to sell me a bunch of different products, I told him I had spiders and he sold me spider control. He did tell me what other services they offered, but there was no pressure to buy them. Dan is the tech who sprayed my home. I did not get to meet him because he was here right before I woke up. He did meet my brother who told me he also sprayed around the unattached garage which I didn't think would be included, but it was very much needed. The one thing that Dan did that stood out for me was that he picked up my dog's outside water bowl that had completely slipped my mind. In my opinion this showed that he cares. They also came to spray my house early Wednesday morning, which was 5 days after I had called with tales about a spider I call Big Mama.Service:Spider extermination

Josh: This company has poor communication. I seen a hiring ad on Indeed for a Lawn Tech Applicator position, and I went into the office to apply instead of doing it online. Once I walked in the hiring manager(Chris) was out for the day, and I was assisted by others. They had no idea if they were even hiring, or not. I then filled out a application, and upon me turning it in they asked if I was licensed to spray. I hesitantly said no as there was nothing in their ad about it. It was a basic ad asking for anyone to hire. They then told me I should be expecting a call the next day. Phone never rang. So I call them the next day after. They told me Chris was busy, and he would call me within a hour. Well again I got nothing. Then to find out a little bit later on they took their Indeed advertisement down. So instead of calling me, and telling me they aren’t hiring anymore they are just going to ignore me, and take the ad down. I also have four years of honorable military experience that is recent. So it’s not like I was just some kid walking in there with no experience in anything.

After many phone calls, and 2 dates promised, the most recent, they gave Thursday, April 28th, they promised her they would come out. NO SERVICE FROM SAFTEY LAWN THIS MORNING, FRIDAY APRIL 29TH . Cara Elizabeth Brewer: Did not do an inspection and therefore could not give a full quote for the job, clean up etc. Just offered to catch the one squirrel for $300 "to start". I did not realize they would be kill traps in my attic so when I declined service I could hear the employee speaking very loudly about me on speakerphone just outside the house, with his higher up telling him talk me into the kill traps. He came back to try to talk to me into it and very sarcastically said, Ma'am I'm an exterminator, If I do the no-kill traps here I'm just going to take them outside and kill them anyways. If you advertise a humane business, maybe be ready to sell the humane aspect of that business. I borrowed a trap from a friend, caught and released the squirrel miles away from the house and haven't had a problem in the last 5 months.
Hannah: I am a tenant of a rental property. The landlord sent this company out to spray for ants in my home yesterday. Upon completion, the tech demanded that we paid him immediately. Even though on the invoice it says "bill to account", the account being the landlord's account, the tech made us (the tenants) pay him.Now I have to wait who knows how long for my landlord to reimburse me for an almost $300 bill, all because this tech wouldn't just send the bill to my landlord's account like it specifically said to on the invoice. Jennifer Delamielleure: My property just so happens to have a drain in our yard, which can sometimes be an attraction to more insects, mosquitoes, etc. We also have neighbors on 2 sides of our fence lines that have shrubs growing thru the fence, weeds that literally grew into full fledged trees and just a lot of unkept overgrowth. One ofy dogs had a tick in December, which is crazy. After the second application I was amazed at the lack of mosquitoes. Our 4th of July was literally free of them. Just the other night I was on my front porch with the sprinkler on, around dusk. I was outside reading for close to an hour and not one bug bite. And sprinkler is still on, mind you. I don't think I saw or noticed the first bug till close to 9:30pm. I was sitting outside for close to 2 hours, with a sprinkler running for at least half that time and I didn't get bit once. I'm very happy with this service, I was skeptical cuz we get a lot of mosquitoes here, close to lake St. Clair, and I've yet to get bit by anything, at my house at least!
