Nicole Spaccarotelli: My husband went here looking for a part. After talking with Brian about what was going on with the boat, Brian refused to sell him the part he didn’t need and instead gave him great advice on how to fix it for nothing. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Being my first boat I’ve had questions on top of concerns on top of questions and he has gone out of his way to be helpful and understanding every step of the way. Definitely go through Brian for whatever parts you may need because I can attest to the fact if there is an issue he will do anything to make it right. He offered to come help me while I was out on the lake (even though it was user error), enough said! Ignore the bad review and buy whatever you need here, you’ll be taken care of.
richard fassett: Bought a 3.5 mercury from Brian he presented it is running good with under 10 hours on it never had a single problem with it it was his own motor. He came from church to let me pick it up said he could run it because of the cold weather and he had to get back to church. Motor never ran right had mechanic look at it. Motor needs new carb because it is leaking air and can't be repaired. Gas tank also has crack in it. Got totally taken from Brain. I would rate him less than one star. Gave him the opportunity to make it right but he declined .

Steve H: Helpful people and good selection of boat “stuff”
William Gaggos: West Marine has always been overpriced but they have a store front down the street so I've patronized them countless times over the past 15 years. I just stopped in to return two items ($250+), but because I did not have the receipt they refused to even give me store credit. It could not have been more obvious the items were from West Marine, I'm even a Member of the "club" but for some reason when I bought these items it was not under my membership. I guess I will avoid West Marine for now on and just use Amazon.

Brian: Great marine supply store but it does not carry as much inventory as other West Marine Stores in southeastern Michigan. This is due to the building being smaller than other West Marine Stores I have visited, plus it is located in a strip mall. They are also currently out of stock or very low on stock on many items due to issues with suppliers and the virus pandemic according to the employees. Regardless it is a very clean and organized store with a friendly knowledge staff and since the store is only 5 minutes away from my house, I frequently visit this location hoping I can find the parts and supplies I need before driving a half hour to the next closest West Marine.

Rick Conn: I called the Bay City store looking for several items. Bay City was out of everything. I found everything I needed at the Troy store which is only 3 miles further to drive.

Keith Page: Experianced parts personnel. I went to the other chain store and person went online could not find my part. Drove a block over to Mikes Marine stepped up to Mikes Parts Counter, guy ask what do I need? He looked at my part which I had, he ask which engine, walked over to shelf in store and placed part on counter perfect match and we discussed installation. Always, always, always on point.
Jim: Awesome place, excellent people. Always helpful with projects, hard to find boating parts and accessories. Great inventory, if they don't have it they're willing to order it or will tell you where you can get it. Everyone here is awesome, old fashioned customer service you just can not find elsewhere, make this your first stop.
