Mr. Y: Contacted them after talking to my Marina about trying to find someone to move my boat, as my boat needs a hydraulic trailer to move it. It did take a couple tries to get ahold of them on the phone but I realize this is their super busy season. I had to get measurements from the boat and call them back and I'm still waiting to hear back from them. But the staff seemed polite and helpful.

Daniel Barrios: I bought a brand new 2020 Suzuki and had it installed three months ago the very next day it began leaking oil I took it back the next day and was assured the issue was fixed. Here I am three months later and guess what my boat has been at the shop for three weeks now with the same oil leak and they have not even looked at it yet. Julie Bell: I would highly recommend Blue Lagoon for storage and service. I stored my boat indoors with them for the first time and I was impressed. Their prices for storage and service are reasonable and they do a quality job. They are very responsive and flexible, especially given the constraints with the 'Stay Home, Stay Safe' effort. Rodney was our transport rep and he did a fantastic job getting us launched!

James McIntyre: I did not get treated like family. I brought my new Suzuki 200hp to them to review the setup for the C10 gages (the dealer that installed the motor did not know how to do the C10 setup for the fuel gage). I was told they would use my boat to learn more about the C10 setup. They did the setup and said everything was good with the fuel gage. I filled both tanks and calibrated the C10 and ran out of gas on the Atlantic Ocean. The gage was off by 50 gallons. Everything on the gage worked fine, except the fuel measurement. I took the boat back and left it there for 9 days to fix the problem. After 9 days, they had not looked at the boat, I picked it up and did not even get an explanation or apology for this unacceptable service. Never again!!

Eric Hupfel: I am very impressed!!! Stored my boat for the winter here and was happy with the level of service. I needed some repairs done over the winter. I contacted them in December. They let me know they would be starting in January. Dave updated me with all findings and Rick walked me through what had to be done. The price was reasonable. My two highlights were 1 communication. I couldn't ask for better. 2. The boat was as clean as when they started. You would never know they were on it.With this kind of service, why would I ever look for anyone else or a different place to go.
victoria lichocki: Dave and everyone at Blue alagoon have been outstanding to work with. He transported our boat from Indiana this spring and everything went swimmingly (our inspector who was on that end to load the boat raved that he was the best transporter he has ever worked with in the decade he’s been doing it). We recently had his guys do a few repairs, and we needed them to come back back out to adjust one thing but mentioned it was not a rush. He had a guy out there first thing the very next morning. I highly recommend Blue Lagoon, our experience with the whole team has been wonderful, they are incredibly professional and ensure the job is done perfectly.

Shayla Weston: DON'T EVER, EVER GO TO THESE PEOPLE TO FIX ANYTHING! I have never heard of a marina that uses a pipe wrench to hit/disassemble boats! They are the most unprofessional business and care more about their own personal boats to use rather than attempting to fix the customer's boats first. The shop is in total chaos and employees are not compensated for overtime, which is completely illegal. I've been boating all of my life and would rather learn to repair my own boat than trust these people to repair a thing. What a joke of a "marina!" Stay away if you care about your watercraft!!!

Roy Schoenherr: I scheduled service for changing fuel filters for my diesel to coordinate with boat launch. They were very accommodating and reasonably priced. I needed some unplanned extra service, and they fixed everything! They are great for sailboats. Tim Carney: These folks are pros. Our Volvo Penta powered trawler had a nagging issue where it was slow to start. Before coming to Blue Water we worked with multiple mechanics who tried but were unable to diagnose issue. Blue Water were able diagnose and fix the issue. We worked with one mechanic (Warren) throughout the repair, getting multiple updates and clear estimates for each part of the fix. We couldn’t have been happier with the work. Highly recommend them!

colin miller: I needed technical help in figuring out how to setup a 1994 75 hp Mercury on a different boat with new controls, cables and ignition. Warren was very patient and helped me to figure out what I needed. Warren wrote detailed notes and consulted both his technicians and contacted Mercury to find out how to make a new control work with the old engine. I feel like a lot of parts stores would not have taken time- I would highly recommend Warren and Blue Water Marine to anyone!

Ron Gelios: Not Happy with this company. I rented a storage spot for 6 months for my boat. The first week I asked them to change the oil and spark plugs. He said, (Keith) that they were backed up and he had to do it after hours, under the table. I was called the next day and he said he could do it that morning and for me to bring cash ($350) and it would be done by 2pm. I did not receive a bill or receipt. This was done during normal business hours. I sold the boat the second week and was told I would not be reembursed any part for storage. Within the first month they rented my spot. I planned to pick up a smaller boat but decided to wait until spring because my spot was taken by another boat. Bad Etiquette!Services:Tune-ups,Engine repair,Oil change

Craig Goring: Would never use this service again. Kieth ripped me off 450.00. And did nothing but damage my boat. He destroyed my stator and timing advance , I have had to take it right from getting boat to the water to find out that he just stole the money and broke my boat to get more out off me. Now it is costing me 2000.00 to fix. I am in the process of suing k&d marine for the damages they caused. Chris Herman: Had engine overheat alarm come on, got towed back to marina on a Friday afternoon. Called my normal guys who are onsite at the marina, they told me it would be 2 weeks before they could even come out to look at it. Called First Mate and they were at my boat in 35 minutes. Needed to get a part so they came back out on Monday and did the repair. Could not recommend them more, especially in these times of if being difficult to find help, especially in a timely fashion. Nathan DeKett: Had these guys winterize and shrink wrap my boat. They were excellent to work with and did the work for a price that seemed fair. I couldn't get my boat started when it came time to take it to the marina for the winter. They came to my house that day and saved my bacon. They didn't overcharge for the work, either. My boat's potable water system also hasn't built much pressure in the year I owned it and they troubleshot and fixed it for me. I didn't even have to ask and they got it done quickly and cheaply. I'm a novice boat owner, so having these guys help me out has been worth every penny. Great value and very nice folks. Would absolutely recommend them.
