U.S. Border Patrol - Detroit Station: what do users think?
Holly Campbell: Every single agent that I’ve encountered are friendly & professional. I respect & highly regard what these agents do. It goes unnoticed & is often skewed & misinterpreted by media & wrong sources. These agents go above & beyond to secure our borders & protect our nation & sacrifice A LOT to live out “Honor First.” Thank you, USBP!!!
Lambo 313: From the looking at the reviews, most people think the Border Patrol Agents (green uniform) are CBP Officers (blue uniform) at the bridge. U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), though part of CBP, work between the Ports of Entry, so you will rarely see them at the Tunnel or at the bridges inspecting travlers. USBP mainly deal with illegal entries, not people presenting themselves for inspection at a bridge/tunnel port of entry.
Priscilla Hayton: Rude and aggressive for no reason
John Leslie: All of the complaints are from people who crossed at the Port of entry, which would be Customs, not BP. From my experience, the agents here are professional and friendly.
Lawrence Adams: A cocky 30 something agent ruined my vacation. I answered their questions at the tunnel office . I was denied entry. I called a supervisor to complain about the agent. He said I was refused entry to Windsor because I was a male Texan traveling alone. Then I was patted down. HARASSMENT!!!
Kiana Agbede: The rudest people for no reason. As my boyfriend and I made our way back from Canada to Detroit the rude agent decided to patronize the two of us. Extremely disappointed by the agents actions.

Sterling Heights Police Department: what do users think?
Denise In Peace: My interactions have always been fair and pleasent i was never worried or afraid while dealing with them
Stephanie S: The Sterling Heights Police are the best! Thank you for taking such good care of our city and keeping it safe for everyone. Sterling Heights is a great place to live and your officers are one of the biggest reasons why. I pray for you guys often. God bless, protect and guide each and every one of you!
Mutti Mutti: Officer Jeremy Walleman needs to be fired!
nahren anweya: I would like to highlight police officer J. Arche. I had an issue on the road and he went above and beyond. He should be a role model to police officers. I love encountering nice police officers and really appreciated the way he treated me. Please give him a raise or a kudos by the sargeant. Thank you very much officer Arche and God bless and protect you.
Jking 0.o: SHPD is one of the best police departments in the entire USA. They go above & beyond to keep the community safe. I absolutely love that they have a presence at the Elementary School my daughter attends. Knowing we have such capable officers puts my mind at ease. Thank you SHPD!
Andrea Lynn: Called to report a porch pirate and the female that answered the phone was extremely rude. I worked in law enforcement for another Michigan city and never treated anyone so poorly or spoke with so much disrespect. If you hate your job quit. Don't take it out on citizens because you are miserable.
Kathryn Verhoye: Congratulations Mario Bastianelli. We are so proud of you. You make your dad proud. We are a long time friend of your dad. Mike Verhoye sending 🙏🙏🙏👍👍
Alex Scott: I had a SUV cut me off on 16 Mile road turning from schoenherr. The lane I was in was snow covered because of the high winds I slammed on my brakes but all I did was slide. It was either slam into the SUV or try to avoid the wreck. I chose hitting the curb and coming to a stop but I got stuck up on the curb in the deep snow. I did the correct thing by calling the police and they ended up giving me the ticket. They had no sympathy for someone who was just in an accident. Had to pay $175 to get my car pulled off the curb and then give me the ticket on top of it after wrecking the front end of my car. Next time I will just not even call the police. I actually had a guy stop and was willing to pull me off the curb. I should have just done that
Andy Blake: Power-hungry Egomaniacs...always approach you militant and make you feel like a criminal, even if you are the one calling the cops for help....Try smiling and being a relatable human being, you aren't better than anyone, you just think that you are!
chris n: My church and i prayd for all of police officer and all emergency respons thak u for all u guys do
Christina Tharrett: Thanks for always serving and protecting ! We support you and appreciate you!!!!!!!
Kevin Johnston: Great staff!
matthew k: I love the city
Emilyjane928 Emily: Wonderful officers. Thank you for protecting and serving!
Michelle Pletta: Just want to say thanks to the officer that made it feel like my fault for someone throwing something at my car while driving glad to know its ok to do so
Nick Iwankovitsch: The trashiest people have the highest egos when they become cops. Sterling Heights police live up to those standards without a doubt in the world.
Benjamin Hartwig: Super fast response time, speed demons on the street all hours waking up the kids, reported and officers there within minutes to monitor... Nice work SHPD
Steven McClure: The Wyndham Garden on 15 and Van Dyke is involved in an identity theft scheme and repeatedly trying to charge cards. Sterling Heights police refuse to accept a complaint. Give all cops a bad name and reinforcing negative stereotypes
Bridgett Kott: I called the police station because I was told that is where they do the car seat installation and was informed that I needed to be a resident for them to do the installation . I think this is terrible and goes against everything they are suppose to stand for . My in laws live in Sterling Heights I’m 6 months pregnant and the fact that someone can not help me there is rediculous. The safety of children shouldn’t matter what city I live in .
Doreen Schaar: I was part of a 4 car accident at 16 mile and Vandyke last night. Officer Clark #0091 was on scene within 5 minutes, collected everyone's information, processed an accident report and had us on our way 10 minutes later. He was polite and kind. Thank you for all you do everyday that goes unnoticed!
Ahmed Safdar (AccountSpace): God cops on patrol

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations: what do users think?
Kyle Compton: The sorriest border in America, they was rude and unprofessional. Don’t travel through here!
Samir Harake: Very rude, the act like Gods
yaser yarghal: Respectful and professional will always remember.
Denslow Burhans: I met one of your pilot agents at an event in Hagerstown Maryland this past weekend. He was very cordial, knowledgeable, and professional. A fine example of a professional LE pilot. Seemed like the right kinda guy for the complex and thankless job you do as an agency. A pleasure meeting you "Mr. Oakley."
Gary McKercher: For Detroit Customs officials the words please, thank you & have a nice day have fallen out of their vocabulary completely. Who trains these people? Although, why should adults need to be trained in basic courteousness & civility? Another great reflection on Americans greeting foreigners & returning cutizens. Pathetic!
Kaden S: Completely disrespectful. First time crossing was limited to 2 weeks due to not knowing I needed a return ticket, which is understandable. Second time crossing a year later: I come totally prepared with a return ticket, as well as a tenant agreement and doctors note to prove I will be returning to Canada. Still I was harassed and treated like a criminal as if I was trying to live in the US and take their jobs and money. I explained that I’m a student on disability and needed to return for doctors appointments and surgeries. I was met with unacceptable comments from the officer about how I “just take money from the government”. Completely ignorant and disrespectful. These officers need serious training.
Danny Draper: I am at the Detroit bus StationArrived about 11:30 amDepart about 12:00 pmThere are 4 BP AGENTS standing here goofing off like it play time for adults, Thet look more like there on break than working they have moved 25 ft from there original standing break location.I SEE MY TAX DOLLARS HARD AT WORK!!!!
Beverly Tujague: If there was less than one star I would use it. Coming back to U.S. with horse we were told by trainer in Canada that we had the necessary papers to cross border to home. Arrive at tunnel on Sunday. Told by customs that they didn't know the rules and one of the men said they would call the vet. We waited and approx. 29 minutes later he said "go ahead and have a good day". 1 MONTH later my friend is notified she brought horse over illegally. Man came to farm and explained to her that she needed border vet to check horse. We explained we didn't know and border officer said he was calling vet then let us through. Seems they should have known their own rules and regulations. Vet at bridge looked at horse, said what a beauty and asked my friend why she was selling her. My friend was told she would need to pay a penalty. We asked why the border people didn't tell us we couldn't cross. She said many are new and don't know. If their own people don't know how are we to know. We were told it is our responsibility to call and find out the rules. WHY should we expect to get accurate information by phone when we didn't get it in person? Anyway, she was told she was given the vet paper and we were told to take paper to customs to be stamped. We get at customs and the officer there asks what we wanted him to do with them. We explained vet office told us to give it to them. He said we entered illegally and therefore needed a broker. We asked what that was and where to find one. He said we needed to be bonded and approved by customs. It was another traveller who told us where to find a broker. SURPRISE it was the building across from them. We stopped in at vet office to let Debbie know what was happening. Kolbus came in yelling that this was not broker office and to leave immediately. If she didnt know where we could find a broker how did she know we didnt go to ask if they knew. the meantime, Kolbus ( custom officer) said we were told by tunnel authorities that we could not pass and that we drove through anyway. THAT WAS A BLATANT LIE. Vet said penalty was the cost to track girlfriend down. Two things here don't make sense. If we went through at tunnel after being told we can't why was no one sent after us. It's not like it would be a high speed chase with a horse trailer with a horse in it hitched to truck. 2nd they had her address. Were they using "native" trackers like in the wild wild west? We go to broker building to find one. Many custom officers there. Ask where broker office is. They said the entire building. Told us look at board in entrance. We chose room 106. Guess what. Never found a room 106. Must exist in twilight zone. Walked entire floor. Found 1 office open. We were told many of the names on board no longer work there. Anyway faxed legal papers to broker supervisor. She faxed to customs to have number generated to show customs agent. We were waiting when vet calls to say move horse to canopy so it could have shade and water. While there truck with piglets drives up. Friend takes pic of piggies. Customs shows up and tells her you can't take pics and erased pic of little piggie. I was getting emails from broker to keep us informed of progress. New customs officers show up and ask why parked there. They told us we would be there all day to go ahead. We try to go back to U.S. and told we couldn't go. We explained officers told us to go. They said we told them we didn't know why we were there. I tried a number of times to explain we were in correspondence with broker to let us know when number arrives. They would not hear of it. Told us to go to customs office and we did. I stopped at broker building for bathroom and my friend got yelled at because of it. Kolbus told us we were trying to pass thru illegally again. We explained about the officers. She called us liars. Kerby came out and told us we needed to go to Canada until we contact a broker. We tried to explain we did and they were waiting for number from customs but he wouldn't let us talk. We started to go to trailer.
الشايب Al-shayb: i believe that us custom are from different planet, cause they have no respect at all, zero respect, and i'm going to have a permeation from the court to record them inside thair facility, so i can prove what i'm saying, especially white folks.
