Detroit Zoo Butterfly Garden: what do users think?
Brian D: January 2023 - first stop at the zoo from my 3 daughters. We love this place. We got to see them take butterflies out behind the glass and onto the tree (picture). The woman said they are wet, and could not hear why. However, she said they will dry off and then fly. It was really cool. The next room has some birds. Before you go into the butterfly room, there is usually a globe and other items. I was told sometime this year, the stuff should be back. Maybe some new things.
Alice Wilson: I love it here. The butterfly exhibit is my favorite place to be! I really love the penguins too!!!
ed arseneault: Always a favorite, either winding the tropical fauna populated by a variety of birds or visiting the butterflies, its a relaxing and endearing experience.
Cake S: Loved the butterfly garden
John E. Jorgensen: An excellent exhibit
Angie Hanner: Haven't been in a few years but We'll never forget this. The butterfly exhibit feels like another world! Would be great to go and stay there longer. You'll want to enjoy this precious experience for as long as you can!❤
Marc Andonian: This is a great zoo with a ton to see. The city had really put a lot of time and resources into it and it shows. The staff is knowledgeable and it's a huge place to explore. And fun fact, the penguin exhibit is the largest in the world! Definitely a fun day trip for people of all ages.
Eric Prather: Beautiful! Much to see, even in the winter.
John Renaud: The butterfly garden was the best of the entire Zoo. The entry price for two senior citizens is a complete rip-off $38. Three-quarters of the animals weren't even seen or there Building closed. Went on a beautiful day. No senior citizen discount what a shame. People on a fixed income can only attend the zoo when they hit the lottery.
Ricardo Rodriguez: Beautiful and relaxing.
Jaime Almo.: Hermoso lugar, muy bien cuidados los animales. Muy limpio.
tom m: Great place for the fam
Hazel Johnson: Had fun with family
Alicia Ney: Soooooo pretty
Timothy Holley: Beautiful exhibit!! There is a Marc Chagall painting in the same building for which I'm trying to find a title!!🌻💐🐞
Jesse Stark: Was closed for private party...but there was no party..so payed 46 bucks and was not informed till after I payed that the one thing I brought my family to see was closed..
Tina Price: The butterflies were big and colorful
Kristie Hess: Awesome!
Oxi Fresh: Oxi Fresh carpet cleaning crew had fun.
lotus child: Breath taking
Lexi Gross: It's beautiful 😍

Robbin Yelverton: There for the annual plant sale. Wonderful time.

They do have a gift shop.Free parking and free entry. The place needs a little love.Good place for taking pictures or weddings.Recommend
Artist Lynn: Sad to see the aging cement, and lack of tulips in the sunken garden. But that being said the grounds are beautiful. Spring is the best for going to see the garden and all the flowering trees.
R R JR: The Cranbrook House, an Arts and Crafts-style masterpiece designed by Albert Kahn for the founders of Cranbrook Educational Community, George and Ellen Booth..Incredible vistas at every turn, the relaxing melody of water streaming out of iconic fountains, the comforting smell of flowers in many remarkable gardens, the feeling of the rich history, exceptional craftmanship, and architectural wonder all around you... just a taste of what awaits at Cranbrook House & Gardens.

Eckert's Greenhouse: what do users think?
Betty Barcenas: Great selection of flowers, good prices and the best customer service
Rich Schoonover: New ownersSame place! One of my favorite places
Kayla Olson: Amazing selection and reasonable prices, staff is very helpful.
Amber Sajewski: The best place to go locally for all your plants and SUPER knowledgeable staff. I've bought flowers, veggies, herbs, and bushes from Ekerts, and they never disappoint. Last year, I waited too long to buy veggies, and they no longer had some of the things I wanted, so I bought what I could from Ekerts and bought the rest from a big box store. Well, my Ekerts ones completely blew my big box ones out of the water. More harvest, healthier plants, etc. You never know until you try, but I'll never go back to big box. #EkertsForLife
Carey C: Not a super bargain like some others have said, but the prices are reasonable.Selection though is off the hook. Anything and everything you're looking for, and some stuff you're not. I got sucked into that vortex of seeing a plant that grew in my yard as a child and ended up buying it for nostalgia's sake.Do buy their "Eckert's, Potting Mix"! No more Miracle grow for me, now that I found this mix. My flowers and vegetables are doing great in this mix. I even used it for my repotting my house plants, and they're diggin' the mix too.If you plan on frequenting there, get their punch card, but note, it is only good for the season you start it in. I had a full card I wanted to use from last year, and they wouldn't let me.
K Alexander: The knowledge these ladies have is incredible. Not busy so I was able to ask a lot of questions. Really excited about my purchases today & what I learned!
Tricia Walker: Hung up on 4 times when I called with a stock question.
diana fiorini: love this place--been coming here for years--right now they have a plant sale going on--great prices for still beautiful plants--met jan who must have just started working here--she was wonderful--thank you for my garden of flowers........
Vicky Giganic: First time at Eckert's Greenhouse today and I was very impressed with their customer service. Very friendly and helpful!
Steven Sorrels: Lots of selections, moderate prices and helpful staff
Karen Walker: Wonderful selection of plants
Andrew Harvey: Very nice people got exactly what I went for very nice
Dydee Q: Great selection and prices! Very helpful staff. I'll be back. Thanks!
Candace Wheeler: Wonderful. It's the only place I go for my flowers. I have been going for years and years.
Kathy F: Eckert's has been my go to gardening spot for over 12 years . Great staff knowledgeable and stupendous plants to pick from ❤ I wrote that from before. All true except one change the gentleman who was writing up my bill. The girls at the register said he has the final say. I spend over $300.00 at least each season. I found only one of the hanging begonias in the color I needed. It was damaged only one tubular was still alive. I asked if it could be marked down. He replied nope and continued tallying. I was also over charged. I figured that when I got home. I was so upset by his demeanor I really just wanted to get out. There were two older women in front of me that also were treated like an inconvenience. He wouldn't listen to what they were trying to say. I'm giving it one more try tomorrow.
Rebecca K: Not a lot of variety in tje veggies and more expensive than usual but good overall
Cinder: Love Eckert's! Amazing selection. I appreciate the helpfulness of the staff. My previous purchases are still going strong.
Dawn Thompson: Prices and selection are fantastic 😊. I won't shop anywhere else for my flowers.
Diana Torrisi: A great variety of flowers to choose from. Prices are reasonable and staff is very helpful.
Jamie Sweet-Burrows: Very beautiful & extensive selection of perennial and annual flowers.Fairest prices in the area. Staff is both attentive and friendly
Dean Lawson: My first time there, they were very helpful !
