fadi soueidan: They might as well call this place "Candy Heaven" because for kids, it is just that. Although candies are found everywhere you go, this place still has quite few items that aren't easily found. Also the experience for kids to have their small carts and to shop around and dispense their jelly beans and M&M of their liking is priceless. The are two reasons I gave it 4 and not 5 stars. First due to the somewhat "cold" staff (and this short of saying non-friendly), which is a shame for a place that caters exclusively for kids. The second is for their policy of not accepting credit card payments for transactions that are less than $5. We rarely walk out of there without a larger purchase, but one time we had to buy more than what we wanted so we can pay by card. Another incident: my kid once dispensed a larger amount of jelly bean from a dispenser, I went to the cashier and asked if we are obligated to buy them all, they insisted that we do. It wasn't the cost, and the amount wasn't outrageous, I ended up paying for it. It is just for the principle of it that I am dissappointed. Overflowing beans get collected by the tray under the grill below the dispensers and I doubt they get thrown away.

Christine Page: They don't have a lot of good selections for zero sugar, but if you are looking for new or old favorite selections, this is the place. They have things like pop rocks all the way to sour punch sticks. They have a lot of good candy, just not a huge selection for people with sugar restrictions or diabetes. They have like one shelf for sugar free but if they had more sugar free candies to choose from, then it might be easier for people like my dad to get the candy they need because not everyone can have candy with sugar in it. If they had more of a sugar-free selection, this would indefinitely be a 5 star rating, but it's only a 4 because we couldn't find an actual good selection of sugar-free candies for my dad. Dave Page: Over the weekend, we stopped in at what is advertised as "Michigan's largest retail candy store." I was left very disappointed, I was expecting aisles and aisles of bulk candy (like the candy and bulk stores I grew up with), instead, I found some prepackaged bulk candy, lots of store type candy (like twizzlers, pez, candy bars, etc). I was also very disappointed in their small sugar-free candy selection, I saw a better selection at a bulk food store the previous weekend. If you're looking for vintage or hard to find candy then definitely look here, otherwise I suggest not going out of your way and just hit the local grocery store.

This place is our first stop when we need more candy in the house, their prices are always fair (and waaay better than those candy shops at the mall)

Nicole Marie: The selection is good. They have snacks and candy from other countries as well as favorites from the US but it's pretty expensive. I went back and have removed another star. The prices seem to have gone up again. I was looking at a snack that I usually buy at kroger and it was almost THREE times more than what I pay there.

Not No one: Nice selection. Was rather expensive but the prices are probably pretty standard wherever you find those items elsewhere at. Unless you get items you can can at the grocery store such as jones, some cadbury itemsamong other things. Those seemed to be double the price for what you can get at grocery. Customer service probably could have been better. The worker did not seem very enthusiastic or friendly. Just quiet and reserved. Which is fine, not someone you would expect to work at a candy store but it was ok because he was at least friendly. Will want to stop in again to try out some unique sodas but will definitely not be a normal stop because of price. A review posted a few months before mine showing their haul had to be a few hundred dollars. For sure. Because mine was almost 100 and not nearing what they got and most of my items were not crazy at all.

The manager, Larvan, was very helpful and showed me all the weird candies I came there for! He helped me pick some of them and he also had a cool little aquarium with cool fishes. The had candies, sodas, energy drinks, posters for concerts, comics, and all types of nerd-dom. Not a healthy establishment, but it definitely has what you need to lift your spirits!
