Calvin Saidy: I'd rate this branch with less than one star if I could. Cassandra Parker (Branch Manager) does not care about the loyal customers. I came yesterday and asked her to notarize two pappers and she told me she will take care of me after she finishes with the customer she had in her desk. After waiting 15 minutes, she told me one minute and went to a room with her college and started a meeting. Her laughts and loudness were all over the branch. She clearly does not care about Chase customers. This branch is the worst branch I ever worked with in my 10 years releationship with Chase.

CES S: One of the ATMs is always down causing a long line in the back. Also those banners have ripped from the stands and have been flapping in the wind for months. Does the manager not see that and at least take them down?
John Thull: I was there a little while ago and observed a customer behaving very rudely to your Associate Banker Almeta Lorigan. She handled the banking with grace and professionalism and was polite despite the rude behavior of the customer. She was then able to greet the next customer with a welcome and a smile. She is a true gem. I wish that all peopleI encountered in a day would display her skill and attitude.

John Slaiman: I had a great experience at this location. Airica Colley was the main reason. She is very professional and patient and helped me open up an account without having an appointment. She went above and beyond expectations, helped me set up my online banking as well as Apple Pay. I would recommend talking to her for any of your banking needs!

Pang Chang: It seemed like the banker i went in to see was very nosy. I went in to fix my pin number and activate my card which she helped me do. I then talked to her about my husband and I's interest in opening a savings account. She said he would have to be in with me but that i could open it online then to save them time for when we come in. She guided on opening a savings account online. She assured me it was fine and easy. Not even a day later, i couldn't log into my account because it was locked. I then receieved a letter that my savings account i created was going to be closed. I called customer service and they told me it was because i opened a savings account online. So basically it was the bankers fault that this had happened. Not only that but she was showing me how to use the mobile app even though another banker had already showed me how. She then proceeded to have me click on the credit history but it seemed like she was looking for her own reasons. Of all the things she could had me do, she chose credit history. The first banker i was with did not have me open my credit history instead they said if i was interested I could check my credit history on my own time. She saw my credit score and debts which i didnt want her to see. She saw my debt and said "i dont know that that is" as if she needed to know.

Dan Howard: Used to be fast and friendly, then they put a machine in the lobby and closed two windows. At best their is a single tellar working. Still friendly, but in the last three months I have not gotten through line in under 15 minutes.

David Kozianowski: I just recently applied and was approved for a auto loan. This credit union made the process easier without all the hassle as other financial institutions. THE MOST IMPORTANT thing about this credit union is they Believe in their customers and Don't focus on past credit mistakes. I was recommended to this credit union by a friend and I'm glad I joined their services. Once again thankyou for approval of my loan and giving people a second chance to improve their financial situation and life progress.

MIN C: I have been with this bank for over two years, this particular bank was by my doctors office so I went in here for a quick transaction. I went inside and went up to the counter to get my transaction. As she was pulling up my account I got the biggest attitude when I asked about possibly getting quarters. The lady was so rude to me! It’s like I wasn’t suppose to ask that question or if I was the stupidest person to ask for quarters. I didn’t appreciate the response. Customer service needs to be re-evaluated here. Other branches have been way nicer to me. It’s just not worth being extra mean.
Larry White: Not friendly at all. Very stand offish. Waited forever in the drive thru line. Understandably since the offices are closed. I went to cash a check from a member of the branch, made out to cash that had my name on the memo line. They wouldn’t cash it. It was only $10 but still. Since I didn’t have an account, but the guy who gave me the check did, it didn’t matter and the ppl running the drive through weren’t having it. I am from out of town and of course I don’t have an account there, but based on this experience, I never will get one at Christian Financial CU if this is an example of their customer service.
Allen Shooter Hardy: Schoenherr Rd. In Sterling Heights is the closest Christian Financial to my house. I have visited several and this one has the SLOWEST DRIVE THRU EVER !!! There is always a line a mile long and they run 2 drive thrus with 1 teller. Only go here if you have no other choice. Chesterfield rocks!!!

When I needed to open multiple accounts I had to wait almost 30 minutes while the lady was just sitting in her office. One of the tellers had to remind her multiple times that I was still here. When I would go inside to cash in a check every single one of the tellers acted as we were all an inconvenience to them. I’m sorry but it’s your job? They can be very rude sometimes and so I moved to going though the drive though. It’s always incredibly slow but one of the tellers he is absolutely amazing and very sweet good customer service from him.
Scholar G2002: So far i don’t like it already. I just literally called them to tell them I wanted to open an account with them because I’m tired of my bank and at the time it was 4:22 pm. They close at 5. I asked the lady who answered the phone if it was ok if I came in today and opened an account with them and she said it would be better if I opened it tomorrow because they close at 5. That tells me off rip that they don’t want my business and that’s the wrong message to send to a person trying to do business with them. So far no good.
Maria Stella: You always have to show your ID even if it's under $5 dollars. You also have to deposit your check, than withdraw it with ID again. You cannot just cash a check here even if you are a member.
Lotus P (Lotus): I come in 4 minutes before b closing time to get access to my account. The people were clueless rude didn't want to help. With the process of a new card that only takes 5 minutes. They speak over you they cut you off from speaking. The energy here is bad.

I come here 3 to 4 times a week and you would think I'm an absolute stranger. I'll be searching for a new bank. Done with it.
Carol Nelson: I actually loved Christian Financial and have many car loans and recreational vehicle loans with them. The people in the branch are kind. BUT DO NOT USE THEM FOR MORTGAGE SERVICES! They refer you to mortgage center. They have 2.5 stars which I can’t believe they have any at all! We are trying to help our son purchase his first home. We submitted everything they asked for and then they insisted that the seller get a new roof. Which prolonged our closing three more weeks. Once it was done we had to wait for the appraiser to go back out. Then we are all set to close right before we go out of town and they come back three days before the close and say we make too much money so now the class they made my son take and pay for a month ago, is no longer necessary and they don’t know if we can close before we go out of town. Mind you they have had ALL of our financial papers for over a months! Their underwriters are rediculous! Common sense would say clear all the financial docs before asking a seller to replace their roof! I have never seen a loan take so long. We have been waiting since March and it is now June. So if you are looking for the slowest mortgage process possible, performed by people that have no common sense, by all means let them handle your mortgage.

Jessica Nicole: I have been a member of msgcu for 5 years. I came into the location today to cash a check into my account. The teller gave me an immediate “suspicious” attitude. Called her manager over and questioned me about where the check came from and how I got it. She said she’s never seen me before (I had never been to this particular branch but I just stopped here on my way home from work) and she had been there for 13 years. She ended up cashing my check on the condition I pay my car loans (which I intended to do anyway on my own accord). It made me feel like a criminal and I literally do all of my banking through your credit union. Not cool and weird for MSGCU. I’ll continue going to my own credit union.
Tonette Morilla: Had talked with Michael, the assistant branch manager about my first car loan. During the process he was friendly and quick with helping me guide through what I needed. Though I did not end up taking the offer, but instead going through with my dealership, he was very professional and understanding. Even called me back after and I appreciated his attentiveness towards his customers. I would definitely recommend this place :)
Lauren Haight: This location is not the greatest. I’ve had good experiences overall at other locations. However Madi at this location was super difficult. She continued to ask the same questions even after answering 5-6 times. I would answer and she would try to argue about my answer. My answer never changed, but she would roll her eyes and ask again. Then she would make condescending comments after I would answer. I had several questions but because she couldn’t even do a basic deposit without her rolling eyes and asking 6 different times what account I wanted it in, I ended up leaving to go to a different location. Just very frustrating experience.

I’ve been with them for 5+ years never had an issue then my credit card payment is late by 30 days they shut down all my accounts until I make a payment. Meaning you can’t use your debit card or any card that has association with that bank until you make a payment. The customer service is absolutely disgusting and it seems like the call center and in-store representatives are always in competition with each other.
Som Gui: Michael at the Sterling Heights location is incredible. He saw me quickly and got me approved for an auto loan within a half hour. He worked AFTER closing and was very thorough with the entirety of the process. His manager Eric was also very helpful in assisting with a slight funding mix up when finalizing.I had planned on financing through a different financial institution and their loan officer had said “oh we can beat the other guys” with confidence. Truth is, they actually can’t. MSGCU’s rates are the best and thanks to Michael, I am the proud owner of a reliable vehicle with several additional services that other institutions wouldn’t and couldn’t offer. Can’t recommend this credit union branch enough!

Tisha. Maull: My personal experience with this branch has been nothing short of amazing and friendly. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and just so incredibly welcoming to the branch. Lisa is a complete gem! She has been so helpful with any process I’ve gone through and I normally never leave reviews but this bank is just awesome!

Ashley Sakuta: I love Huntington and I love this branch. I've never had an issue with them or the tellers until today. I went in to get a cashiers check to pay my rent. When I went to the teller to ask for one I accidentally called it a money order. I tried to apologize and correct myself, but the teller immediately got snarky with me. Telling me in a rude tone that "we don't do that, and that my check HAS to be from Huntington to use it towards a cashiers check if that's what I actually need". I've been getting cashiers checks from this bank/location since December, so I know I can use my check no matter the bank. Either way the teller was very rude and I'm disappointed that such a good bank would hire such mean people.

I mean the service he provided and dedication to help me you just see that anymore. I had card issues that i went to him on friday and found the problem and he called me monday moring to fix the problem. So I went to him after work and fix all my card issues found money that was owed to me and over all made sure everthing was good before I left! There is more to the story but trust me he is awesome and im soooo Thankfull! Please see John when you go there he wont let you down! Thank you John!!!!
Nicole Jamesa Sizemore: I called last week about financing a used car out of state. I was told by John the year and location wouldn’t be an issue & that Id hear an answer 24-48 hrs. Well 72 hrs later I called & talked to Becky. Turns out my application was never turned in because I saw my credit report was immediately pulled after the call. She said Id have an answer the next day. She calls, says I got approved so the day after that I dropped off my paystubs, which was a Saturday. No call Monday, no call Tuesday, so I left a voicemail that evening. No call all day Wednesday (today) so I had to call. Becky said she’s just waiting on a purchase order from me & I could email it to her & said she’d open it right away. Well two hours later still heard nothing. So I go up there thinking I just need to sign papers. I see Becky take two phones, type on her computer Then dip out of the door at 4, & I had been waiting for over 30 mins. A woman from the cubicle next to her comes out to me & says she’s waiting on an underwriter to see if they’ll even finance a car from out of state. What!? Another 10 mins go by, she comes out & says they won’t do it because its difficult to put a lien on a title that’s not a Michigan title? Sounds like a bunch of BS. Never heard of that before. I told her, I said from the very beginning this vehicle was out of state, instead of being denied within 72 hrs, you guys tell me a week later! She very unapologetically said to me, well the information wasn’t relayed. No sh*t Sherlock! I lost all respect for these employees, & a little bit of my cool. I had already paid for this car to be put on hold AND a mechanic to inspect the car because they said I was approved, trusting they had all the info I gave them, not to mention gave them a PURCHASE order with $2,000 on it! This bank has left me scrambling to get approved somewhere else asap, since I only have a certain amount of time to buy this car once you’ve placed money on it. ALL NON-RUFUNDABLE. And she didn’t even give a slightest damn.Edit: I don’t know what Becky said or did but she handled the situation & got me the loan. Thank you!! This has changed my life so much you have no idea!

Tellers should not hold up a line for 15 minutes teaching someone how to use the internet on their phone. Especially, with 3 members waiting in line on a Saturday. Been a member before it was even called Genisys (Federal USA). Overall, very good experience the last 25+ years.
