Dawn Saunders: First time ordering. I ordered cod and chicken tenders with mushrooms and sides of potatoes and coleslaw. Most of the potatoes and the chicken tenders looked and tasted as though they had been previously cooked and reheated in the fryer. The cod is smaller than in the picture. The mushrooms and coleslaw were fine. Very disappointed to pay so much through GrubHub just to be dissatisfied.

JIM K: Excellent food. I can report this is broasted chicken. Don’t listen to previous reviews, I watched my food being cooked in a pressurized deep fryer. Chicken was juicy and crispy.
SterlingGEast: I went to chicken delight to have a good family quality meal and everything was terrible. The chicken was soggy, and the potatoes and fried mushrooms was complete terrible and plus the food is very small. The chicken was very tiny and potatoes. keep in mind everything is a family order which should be a big meal size. Called the owner and he has. A lot of excuses. All we wanted was to replace the order he can’t even do that. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody to come there. It’s not worth it plus the owner is very cheap go to Popeyes chicken or KFC. lol waste of money

I’ve been ordering chicken for over 20 years from them and yesterday we ordered the 8 piece meal...the chicken breast and legs were half the size, they were over cooked, dry and tuff...not juicy like normally. The potato’s had no flavor compared to normal and over cooked also! The only thing that tasted good was the coleslaw. Don’t know if I would chance ordering from them again.

Got some on top AND a side cup with more to add myself. Chicken was crispy and tender in all the right ways.Also, whoever was working the window yesterday at 2pm... treat her well, management. You got yourself a stellar employee there. She was unbelievably nice and sweet, professional, and even though the wait was a little longer than expected for a drive thru she made it a positive experience. Then she started going off on me lol I can’t make this up, I just drove off while she continued to rant. I understand tensions are high right now and everyone is stressed out, perhaps the lady was having a bad day and those mashed potatoes triggered her idk. I have to always go back in and get some hot fries and that fact I always ask for my chicken to be fried hard and as long as I wait in line, my food should always be fresh and hot. I live out this way, but I will just go back to my favorite location on 9 mile and Coolidge in Oak Park. I have never had an issue like I do with this Sterling Heights location. They are straight 🗑.

Dawn Chilton: My husband and I went in for carry out around 7pm. First impression was poor at best. The manager, I believe Monae was her name. She was by far THE rudest employee we've ever encountered. She abruptly told us to move away from the counter. Her delivery was terrible. She treated the staff like garbage. She degraded us the whole time until I finally addressed her. She was so awful that two employees apologized for her behavior. She dug through bags, throwing food around with just a terrible and aggressive attitude. There were at least 5 people on staff and two other customers who ordered. They were not busy. There were no excuses for her poor management skills. She bullied everyone in there. This person is not fit to manage or even work with the public. After that display, she should lose her job. I will be reporting her to corporate as well.

The employee, Khady D, hung up on me before I could finish giving my order and when I called back to clarify my order, she informed me that the wings were already prepared with sauce and I would have to take it as is. After some back and forth, they agreed to make my order right and then I arrived at the restaurant to find my wings were overcooked.So I asked the manager (who happened to be a white female) to please cook the wings like they normally would and not make the wings that hard. As a deaf/HOH customer, I was communicating through both signing and talking, reading the manager lips, as well as using my phone to write back and forth. However, the manager was extremely unwilling and didn't bother to communicate with me effectively, making me constantly ask her to repeat herself. When I tried to explain the situation, the manager said my receipt doesn’t say crispy and it was Khady that took my order but the manager didn’t take any accountability whatsoever. I made my order on the phone so, I can’t control what Khady put on the receipt before I arrive.As if that wasn't bad enough, while I was trying to communicate with the manager, I noticed Khady and another gentleman in the kitchen talking about me and laughing at me as I read their lips. When I confronted the manager about it, she shrugged it off and pretended not to know what was going on.I find this level of disrespect and mistreatment unacceptable and I demand that this business improve their work ethics and provide deaf-friendly training for their staff. I use multiple communication methods, including an interpreter and my phone, but the manager did not make any effort to communicate with me. I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times, which was incredibly frustrating.I had my order remade, but I don’t think I will come back to this restaurant again unless there was some improvement . Ryan Seagram: Okay listen, I love dwc, by far the best wing place in my opinion. I live close to the Roseville one and I get it quite often and never had a problem. This is my first time getting it from this location with my one co worker today as we work half a mile away...the flavors were on point ill give it that, but why were they SO small..like legit less than half the size of the wings at the Roseville location...all of my co workers looked at them and thought we got JIPPED which clearly we did, i mean really, it was like popcorn chicken. I spent 14 dollars on 8 wings (got 1 side of ranch and blue cheese) and my co worker bought 12 wings and 1 sauce for 19 dollars.... and was highly disappointed with the size of every wing, we were not full what so ever and its not like 14 bucks for lunch is chump change, especially 19! Now I get it, we may have just had a weird batch of boneless wings or something but for real, dont ever serve us or any customers some $hi* like that again if you know they're that tiny, or if anything, toss a few more in for God's sake .I shall stick with the Roseville location after this situation.

Kimberly Guiao: I have finally found a new place for delicious wings. I have only ordered the boneless chicken wings (I know, my hubby calls them adult chicken nuggets) and they are so big and juicy. The sauces and rubs are divine. So far we have tried the Buffalo, Cajun, creole parmesan, garlic parmesan and firecracker. My family loves them all. Also had to try the poutine which was also amazing. The large size comes in a pie tin and is filled to the brim with great fries, amazing gravy and melted cheese. It totally hits the spot when you can't make a run for Canada. I also had their Buffalo chicken dip which was also delicious. The cashier was really nice on both visits and answered any questions I had and also took time out to talk with me while taking my order. Both times I ordered 48 wings with 2 large sides and it took them 15 minutes to fulfill my order. I am really impressed and thrilled to have them near me when I have a wing craving. I'll be back soon.

G W: Slow service. Ordered a hot honey rub sandwich online but I got an original chicken sandwich. Shows laziness because it’s not like they could’ve heard my order wrong, they were busy so I assume they were cutting corners. Another customer came in who said he ordered on the phone and had to re-iterate his order and name multiple times but different employees kept asking him what his order was (I assume they weren’t hearing him well but no one spoke up.) After about 3 times he told them “y’all need to start listening better” and gave up on his order and walked out. The only reason I gave my experience 2 stars instead of 1 was because the sandwich at least tasted good. But it wasn’t what what I wanted and the service was really slow.

HelpFeed Earl: I was eating in at the Wing Stop at, 35374 Van Dyke Ave, Sterling Heights, MI 48312, and watched as Door Dash drivers filed customers delivery soda pop cups. There was no way for the Door Dash drivers to wash their hands, other than going to the bathroom. None of them did. I even saw one Door dash driver sneeze into his hands and then grab the cup to fill with soda pop. He put his fingers into the cup as he grabbed it. I asked an employee why the did not fill the soda pop cups. They said management told them not to do it, as it was not their job. I was there about 20 minutes and saw six Door Dash drivers fill cups, and one Uber Eats driver. I was eating close enough to the counter to hear them announce who they were picking up for and what company.

Johnny: Fire the whole night shift. Cursing, rude and slow. They don't take their job serious AT ALL. Workers like this should never have a job serving people. One of the workers was literally SLEEPING in the back. This is a representation of the owner as well. Fire them all, no way this place is in business in a few years.
Dejuan Morris: Worst customer service experience thus far since moving to Michigan. I literally stood outside after I've already placed and paid for my order for about a good 20 minutes while an employee looks at me the entire time. Then I call because their doors are locked another employee answers claiming to be the manager and instructs me to come inside and get my food. The doors are still locked so a different employee I'm guessing the manager finally gets out of the car after he's done smoking his joint to assist me and then proceeds to give me attitude before giving me my food. If I were the owner I'd fire that entire staff because they're going to ruin your business. Just my opinion.

Started taking my order told me to hold on for a food item came back another person started taking the order. They got upset when I asked if they had the item that they said they were checking on. Than finally got the order straight. Pulled up, paid for my order than was told to reverse backwards to the pole and wait to be beckoned to pull up. What is that all about. Then they gave me each item in a separate container like I had ordered everything separately. Then I was missing a drink and the girl had the never to get uset again. And closed the window on me because I said I had two drinks. Rude. I told her she needs to get a better attitude working at the drive-thru. I have worked for over 45 years and now retired and have never seen anything like the customer service that is being dished out in this day and time. Very disappointed. Popeye chicken will be closed for food if they don't make some real changes.

Txxx Xxxx0xx: The chicken sandwiches this is a review on how that spicy chicken sandwich tastes. The pickles made the sandwich not taste as good as it could for me. I think that has some sauce on it, the sandwich. But another thought it is doesn't and the cook uses the pickles for flavor. I think the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken. The sandwich would taste much better if it had some type of honey mustard, hot mustard, spicy sauce, ranch, or some other dressing on it. I could name more. I'm going to have to order without pickles on these next time. Those little chicken sandwiches I'm going to call them chicken siders were great. I don't have any complaints about this store or the food it's a personal preference for what I like to taste on the sandwich. I May like it personally with butter pickles or hot ones that I can add somewhere else. Thank u al! I appreciate u cooks andd staff.Vegetarian options: They have corn available. It's sweet and really tasty. It's not buttered. I think it used to be. But still, it's good. I like it buttered and not. Now I want some. It's hot sometimes. But just heat it up more. I think you'll love it. It's enough sometimes to fill me up. Other times I could eat 2 or 3. Later on 2 or 3. There :)

Rebecca Gardiner: Just had KFC on Sunday with my Step Mom and Dad. I used to like it but I just can’t eat it anymore because it gave me food poisoning. It’s not the first time this happened to me. I few years ago the same thing happened to me. I thought because I haven’t had it in a long time this wouldn’t happen again but it did. I’m never coming here again I’d rather have Popeyes. Their food is better to me anyways. I never got food poisoning from Popeyes. I highly recommend them.
